We take the train from Genoa to Santa Margarita which is so beautiful! We then take the ferry to the wonderful Portofino. We have a lovely walk around this stunning town and decided to have some wine at Bar Mariuccia which was lovely. The wine also comes with an amazing free banquet of food which kept us full. For Portofino prices, this was a bargain and we can fully recommend this place if you are on a budget.
You can see the castle in the distance where Kourtney Kardashian got married.

Oh man I can't wait to get back to Italy. I have missed it so much. This is an area of Italy I personally haven't been to yet either. Santa Margherita looks like a coastal gem and oh man the food in Portofino. Well worth the trip. Was it busy during the summer there. Seemed like it.
@@AdventuresOfATravelingDon Santa Margarita was so beautiful and Portofino was stunning but felt very small. Considering it was July it wasn't as busy as I thought it would be. The complimentary food with the wine was so good. It is something you definitely need to do 👌👍👏
