Not only was his drawing great, but an accurate answer to the question, as well! So double props to Nathan! Drawing and knowledge of Japanese mythological creatures!
My mom and I usually dominate at Pictionary, because we're the artists of the family. But if you don't know what some clue is, all the drawing ability in the world won't save you. If my dad or brother knows what something is, they can usually scribble out a recognizable version enough for a guess. Like Kirk did! He knew what he was about, and though his drawing skills may not have been super, they were adequate to the task.
I’m gonna start collecting swords and Haley can’t stop me
I do appreciate the TaleSpin question. Takes me back.
Um Actually, Marge does make Bart and Lisa give away the puppies but because the puppies get sad when they get separated, no one takes them until Mr. Burns steals them.
(34:35) Um, actually no bokoblin teeth are used to purchase the glowing skeleton suit. The radiant set is paid for in rupees and luminous stones. Even when upgrading the suit, no teeth are used, only the guts of various monsters and even more luminous stones.
27:33 that moment when you can't tell if Trapp is being sarcastic or if he actually knows that Vanillite exist
Trapp understand ms the sword guy thing because he works with one, Brennan.
The _Kappa_ is a mythological rendition of a real-world animal: the _Hanzaki_ also known as a _Japanese_ _Giant_ _Salamander_ . Although shy and seldom seen, it is aggressive and has been known to attack and injure people. For this reason, there are warning signs near waterways where it is known to live - signs that carry a typical drawing of a Kappa.
I'm glad they are reposting old episodes with ads! I hope we eventually get to see the musical theater episode...
This title..
I feel like I'll know most of these...
there's a difference between password and pass code
Yeah this isn’t the only ep too.. I can’t help but feel like they’re either repeating questions or re-uploading old eps..
@@Nerdyone1000 That is because they are re-uploading old eps. They were originally streamed on some other site(Dropout), and as previews the first third of each episode was posted here on youtube on the college humor channel. The episodes are over a year old and I am unsure why they are doing it this way rather than making new ones. I suppose gathering random people during a pandemic might be hard but I also think they could do it if they tried. I also read a comment on one of the college humor breaking news videos that something happened to them and they had to fire a bunch of people.
Writing this comment made me actually look it up but I am keeping my comment the way it is because...why not?
medium.com/a-geeks-blog/behind-the-scenes-of-um-actually-6732c791d092 - an interview of Mike Trapp after whatever happened. There is also a link to a list of people from college humor looking for new jobs, and Mike Trapp is on that list. What does it all mean? I honestly don't know.
@@larstallinger6795 dropout is still releasing episodes, but also allowing the older episodes to be aired now
@@mxspokes Still hosted by Mike Trapp? Looking forward to when they end up on youtube if they do. Either way I won't be watching it there. I looked at the site and it's a subscription-based site and I do not have enough money to spend that much on just watching um. actually. To make it worse I completely hate their color scheme. The yellow blocks in on the otherwise black page hurts my eyes which might seem surprising considering I'm fine with the almost completely white youtube. The whole cookies disclaimer also ended up being white text on yellow background which was impossible to see without marking/selecting the text
Um actually, Nicholas cage also played the role of "Spider Noir" in "Into the spider-verse"
Thank you Nathan.
and he took the win what a man
The funniest scene in the 2 dozen and one greyhounds episode was at the end when you see what looks like Homer hanging himself in silhouette, but he was actually batting a lightbulb.
Nathan is a delight
Um Actually the Punisher wasn't going after Archie, he was going after a criminal that looked a lot like Archie, enough that the Punisher got confused.
But was the real Archie in the comic as well as a criminal that looked like Archie? Because then it would be a cross over.
@@greywolf7577 I'm not arguing it wasn't a crossover. I'm saying that in the crossover the Punisher wasn't "going after" Archie Andrews. He was going after drug smuggler Melvin Jay known as Red Fever, who looks kinda like Archie. The Punisher sees Archie and thinks that Archie is Red.
Uhm actually, while it is in a different episode "distribute" implies a consensual exchange of ownership but Snake steals his puppy.
Pretty Sure that is the other Episode with puppies
Pass- word is a word or a phrase. Tapping is like a passcode
Um actually there was a TV show called "Sledge Hammer!" where eponymous main character had a very intimate relationship with his gun, and in some dubbed versions that gun has a name, like Compadre in a Mexican version and Susi in a German version.
I used to get it confused for Hunter because of the intros.
I'm glad the air was finally cleared on Urza not being a wizard.
Um, actually, a cucumber is called "kyūri" in Japanese. There IS a cucumber roll, called a "kappamaki," but it is not a cucumber.
Um, Actually, Hugh Jackman DID play two super heroes. He also played Mr. Fantastic, who was making himself look like Wolverine.
Um, Actually, Hugh Jackman played three comic book characters if you include Mystique pretending to be Wolverine. She is eventually portrayed as a super hero.
fav show on internet, mostly when you know the answers
um actually, the reason you should only dip a brush halfway into the paint is to prevent paint from getting into the ferrule of the brush (the metal part that connects the bristles to the handle.) the number one way to ruin a paintbrush is to allow paint to dry in the ferrule, it will cause the bristles to splay out in all directions.
Kirk Damato saying the Pokémon franchise is twenty years old and me depressing myself thinking it's actually closer to thirty
In your defense the episode is a few years old so it was probably closer to twenty at that point haha
Interestingly enough, "Bobobobo-bo bobobo-bobo" is also the lyrics to the theme tune for Um, Actually
Um, Actually you said that the statements were about things they like, not "the things you know and Love."
I absolutely love Haley and Kirk's energy in this, oh my god.
Mike: You must draw... the Kappa.
Kirk: Let me school everybody, right here, right now. (clears throat)
UM ACTUALLY Punisher and Archie is NOT a crossover, because they take place in the same universe, as evidenced by Patsy Walker (Hellcat)
Um actually, it is a crossover as Marvel and Archie comics started a partnership in 2017 (isn't Google great?)
When/where was Patsy Walker an Archie character? AFAIK Patsy was a Timely character, Timely being one of the precursors to Marvel Comics.
Uhm Actually, Klefki is one the best pokemon. The typing is good. the ability and moveset can be put on multiple teams. Klefki is the Ringer of my competetive team in multiple gen's
Competitive utility versus design philosophy. I could put googly eyes on a trash bag, slap on a 720 stat total, make it like fucking... Normal Ghost typing, and call it Garbgeist. Still a bad Pokémon all told
@@chrismanuel9768 I guarantee-- GUARANTEE-- that if you count the number of people who claim Klefki as their favorite Pokemon, it would outnumber the people who list Voltorb and Electrode as their favorite, COMBINED.
Pokemon has always had bad designs, it has nothing to do with the generation.
It truly is an archetype that is present in our times. It could possibly be relatable to everyone living in the midwest
Omg finally the full episode with Nathhan! Whoo
I’m only five seconds in and I already need to comment on how much I love that tie!
Um actually in Son of Godzilla the offspring did not have an official name.
Um, actually, the live action movie that Tale Spin was based on/inspired by was the 1939 Howard Hawks classic 'Only Angels Have Wings,' not 'Casablanca.'
Currently you could say Cage played Super, at least his likeness did
She's not wrong. I have met that sword guy.
Ah yes the "make fun of klefki and vanilite" portion of the show, provided by people who probably loved Koffing and Diglett
I was about to say, um, actually, modern Pokémon designs aren’t any less inspired than they used to be.
The the Kangaroo-Lamp Pokémon could be called some variation of Lightsout, due to the lamp for a head and the fact that the phrase “Knock your lights out” is something that happens with punching
Um, actually... you don't want to put a paint brush fully in the paint because the paint at the base of the brush will cause the bristles to separate. This causes the tips to fray and well lead to uneven strokes
She got the point.
This seems like mansplaining.
I am a man and she is a woman, so maybe. Although her explanation why you don't full dip a brush was incorrect, and since the whole point of the game is to correct small errors, I am going to say it isn't.
Why would you put any more than the tips of the brush into the paint anyway? Only the tips of the brush touch the wall. Genuine question.
Well Actually - Kappa : While they are primarily water creatures, they do on occasion venture onto land. When they do, the "dish" on their head can be covered with a metal cap for protection - So a Jaunty hat ...
Gosh watching drawfee for years now and then picking up this show this year, man Nathan is so cute it's easy to forget sometimes.
i'm here for Nathan
Kirk predicted Nick Cage Superman
Christmas and now New Year, you guys are throwing gifts after gifts at us.
This isn't the first time the blue buzzer has malfunctioned...
30:21 um Actually Nicolas Cage has played more than two superheroes; Ghost Rider, his role in Kick-Ass, Spider-Man Noir in Into the Spider-Verse, and Superman in Teen Titans Go! to the Movies
Um, actually, the skill to work Valyrian Steel isn’t fully lost since the Doom (because, otherwise, Widow’s Wail and Oath Keeper couldn’t have been forged from Ice.
Also, you still should hone your blades even with magic super sharpness. Famously, Ned spends time doing this with Ice in the Winterfell Godswood, I would guess in Cat or Bran's first chapter and in the first episode.
