Kane and Andy just gobsmacked nothing to say, Gerard had to do it all by himself. They went missing some might say you choked Kane when it mattered most.
You can't expect to play finals when you only win 4 of your last 12 games, including losing their last 4 games and choking badly in the last 2 games. They weren't good enough when it mattered late in the season and even if they had made it would have limped in and got smacked out the first week of finals.
