I’m always so chuffed when the thing I like gets a good CF score 😊 GIR spoonula, I love you. Now, if we could get a tutorial on how to make them come out of the dishwasher not slimy? 🙏🏻
I wonder if you’ve ever had this - I’ve found that some silicon spatulas seem to retain a soapy flavor after washing. With certain spatulas I find I have to rinse and wipe them a few times and dry them very well to get rid of the soap taste, and I wonder if that’s due to the quality or composition of the silicon
I know you cant buy alllll the spatulas, but I've been buying the Thermoworks spatulas and spoonulas, and would be curious to see where they rank. Spatulas are softer than I would like, the Spoonulas are definitely more useful overall. I do have a drawer full of the little ones and use them every day. Great video, think I'll be ordering some of your favourites.
I just bought the DiOro for the warranty but after this review I’m returning and getting the ones you recommended. However, what would you recommend for a turner for eggs on nonstick pans??
@@cultflav They come in two sizes, one better for jars, and the other larger for stovetop cooking. They also come in the spoon and flat shaped heads. They are all heat safe silicone with no seams. They have the right amount of stiffness through the instrument that I don't have any trouble with it being too stiff and unable to navigate into the edges of jars, and not too flexible that the edge folds on itself. I haven't had any melt or tear. They always seem to be on sale, and they are very affordable.
@@cultflav ThermoWorks spatulas are the best! The strike the right balance between firm and flexible, plus they come in fun bright colors. The mini set is particularly delightful and I find myself using the minis multiple times a day whenever I'm in the kitchen. Perfect for everything like spreading, scooping, stirring, scraping and more, especially for a small saucepan or skillet. The spatula comes in a variety of sizes - the medium 12" is probably the more "traditional" size and also has a corollary spoon-shaped variant. The small and medium are both kitchen go-tos for us and we keep multiple in our countertop crock. The large size is a bit unwieldy for my preferences, but it has its time and place. I highly recommend you give them a try, especially the mini set!
I think you will get treated better by the algorithm/search if you put "silicone" somewhere in your title. Took me way too long to re find this video and I was specifically looking for you two.
Guys… I need help. My bf got me a le Creuset pan for my birthday specifically for my egg white omelets I have ever morning (boring I know) and I cannot get the eggs to not stick to the pan. Plz help. Having trouble finding anything on how to use it. I’m normally a nonstick girl
@kirstenwright5868 honestly, it's not a great type of pan for frying eggs. You could work in a bunch of fat to pull it off, but if you're doing egg whites only, that doesn't seem like what you're looking for. All the pros use nonstick for omelets for a reason! But that Le Creuset will be great for lots of other things like baking and braising!
Thorough, thoughtful, and entertaining. Smash!
“Couldn’t be you” BRUTAL
Y'all's back and forth in the kitchen is so fun. One of the many reasons to love the content!
I’m so glad I realized your content was also on UA-cam! I’ve quit TikTok so I’m thrilled to subscribe here!
In case you didn't know, turmeric can be bleached out from lots of materials by letting it sit in the sun for a few days!
Never knew that I needed a spatula review until now.😂
Thanks so much!! Honesty, reliability and a tweezer full of humor - love it!!
Was very pleased to reach the end of the video and see the Tovolo spoonula (the one I already own) 🙌🏻
Love yall and love what you are doing!

excellent work, thank you. I’d prefer longer cutaways and b roll clips but I went to film school in the 70s.
Yayyy I know what I’m getting my mom for Christmas :)
Great review, thank you very much
Can the Tovolo spoontula be used with the left hand as well?

💯 agree with the Di Oro observation. Why on earth is the handle all floppy for like the last 2 inches?! 9:40

Please review tongs. I’ve been meaning to upgrade my current set.
Was confused and surprised until about half way through when I realized it wasn't Tove Lo you were speaking about
so that's what Pete Davidson would've looked like if he didn't discover drugs but instead discovered sourdough
Wait so I'm not supposed to keep using the farberware one i bought on clearance 5 years ago? Its all broken in the middle just the way i like it
I like the thermoworks models
What do you like about them?

Ikea spatulas are nice
how did you miss the OXO flip and fold omelet turner? weird name, best spatula ever made.
This is already the most comprehensive silicone spatula review on the internet. But ultimately, we just couldn't cover everything.
Any plan on testing Nylon turners? I have not managed to find a brand that I like. They all suck.

Do you have a favourite turning spatula? Do you think they’re worth buying? I just broke mine and am wondering if I should bother replacing…

What type of Le Creuset? Enameled cast iron?
@@cultflav yes! It has a white inside too if that makes a difference

Very stiff!
