    Gotta say it Mr Sankey, everything you're doing is great. The style of teaching, the voice, the knowledge and experience to advise on alternate and multiple applications for a piece. I really appreciate what you're offering. I'm a dad of 3 and instead of candy or tv time, I reward my children with magic! They love it so much and their rooms have never been cleaner! I really can't thank you enough. Keep up the amazing work and I can't wait to hear from you again.
    Forever thankful,A Happy Family

    Hi Jay, I watched this video and I have to say it's a very pleasing trick. I'm pretty rubbish at basic shuffling, never mind actually manipulating cards, but I really appreciate the thought that goes into these things and maybe one day I'll be less ham fisted. What I like about these videos is that when you realise how a trick is done you go from being wowed by the "magic" to wowed by the level of skill of the performer. There's a great deal of psychology behind a lot of the tricks and it's a fascinating field of study.

    Great effect. I love key card magic because it takes advanced sleight of hand and makes it a million times easier. Perfect effect. Keep up the good work.

    You are a wonderful teacher, mentor and human being. We met just from an instant years ago at Browser’s Den. Indeed, you were still almost a kid and even from that brief encounter you were impressive. You are truly worthy of the considerable success and public respect and affection that you have achieved.

    What if the key card and the chosen card got seperated through multiple cards? Wouldn't this trick be risky?

    • @Nightmare91o
      @Nightmare91o 8 років тому +5

      Don't shuffle, just cut. If you only give the deck straight cuts like you see Jay doing and make sure the spectator only cuts the deck and doesn't shuffle, it doesn't matter how many times you cut. The selection and the key card will never separate.

    • @DAMIENDMILLS
      @DAMIENDMILLS 7 років тому +20

      Yeah if the deck is only cut multiple times, there's no problem. If your key card ends up on the top of the deck, the next card is their selection. If your key card is on the bottom, their selection is on top.

    • @antonlvdm
      @antonlvdm 6 років тому +1

      Unless it got cut once again after that... Then what?

    • @PandaThe2nd
      @PandaThe2nd 6 років тому +2

      Anton van der Merwe if they key card is underneath and the chosen card on top, when the deck is cut the keycard goes back on top of the chosen card.. think about it, they'll never separate as long as you are only cutting not shuffling.

    • @dnkzn3184

I also added my own twist to the style of execution of the fundamental sleight itself. Thx for asking.
