Wonderful perspective on Practical vs CG effects that actually directly calls back to Jurassic Park's production- really great work with this interview!
I'm hoping it does the Dinosaurs justice. The recent movie '65' was a huge disappointment, because the dinosaurs were monsterized. Hearing Luke say he wants to keep up with modern science is heartwarming and has me looking forward to faithful Dinosaur depictions in movies once again.
Sometimes, it's more practical to not go for practical, especially in the film environments, sometimes CG's the ironically more practical route to go for in such situations. I've got hopes the CG effects shall be splendid/tasty to look at! Don't like this apparent allergy towards CG, if it's good it's good, highly doubtful it'll be fugly like modern Marvel movies tend to be with the underpayed effects artists.
I am so hyped for this movie. Huge fan of the book series and can't wait for the trailer to release.
