Seriously considered a 2016 Clubman, but got spooked by Lunar going down the pan and the affect that may have on future residuals. They are really nice caravans though, lots of little touches that make them stand out, the picture window in the roof, lighting, lovely upholstery, upmarket shower cubicle to name a few.
I think the initial shock of Lunar going has happened, so its just front and back panels that you can't get. But all the internal items and windows etc are supplied by other companies. So its only new vans with manufacturers warranty it really affected.
We are just off to pick up a Lunar Clubman SI (2017), we brought a 2 berth in march this year but its just such a palaver to make the bed up every night and it meant hubby had to get up the same time as me in the morning, we also have 4 dogs so the extra space will be amazing. We only went to look to see what the quality and lay out was like and was blown away by it.
Great video as always mark! We bought the SE 2015 October last year for £15k with everything! I feel like I’ve robbed them looking at the market price now we bought at the right time!
Another interesting video, Mark. I like Lunar caravans and bought a 2018 Delta RI. Now covered several thousand miles with it including December 2019 spent in Austria. Alde central heating is a marvellous thing!
Apologies in advance, unrelated question. Is a caravan with the microwave & surrounding trims removed leaving a gaping hole worthless? Seen two vans like this for sale.
No Microwave less than 100, and you can buy the surrounds or have one made. You can buy a built in Microwave that will come with a surround for about £200. So don't let it put you off, you may be able to get a bargain because of it 👍
I have a 2011 as well and the bed is fixed. I looked at other brands that had the pull out bed but I like the look and layout etc of the Lunar Clubman si and we decided that for as often as we go to toilet we could live with a fixed bed.
Best caravan iv seen, wish i cud afford it😂

Time will tell I guess, but there does seem to be quite a lot of Lunars for sale at the moment.
Theres a company making front and rear panels in fibreglass. Brand new

Prices have continued to rise, everyone around that time was sure prices were about to drop. So great buy👍

The famous “leaky Lunars” Manufacturer sank without a trace!
The toilet bowl is ceramic not the whole unit, keeps clean and feels more domestic
This is very true. 👍
super van
Such a shame lunar went out of busniss they were getting ahead of time with there caravans lunar were more about the luxury rather than any thing else
What’s the price please?
Hi Richard, £17995. Thanks
