    I had my Diep and mastectomy on Oct 4. I have to say, you cracked me up so much that I was in tears. My chest hurts from laughing so much!!!!!! The tight belly, sleeping and peeing....Then, when you got to the poop part, I dropped my phone, laughing so hard! My chest hurts from laughing so hard. I said the same thing" i didn't want to have a flat belly from cancer." I chuckled... This was the best video ever! I had front row tickets to Dave Chapelle on Oct 19. I had to give them away! Uuugh
    May you have a speedy recovery and be able to hold your babies close to you. And to your mom, you are a queen who raised a queen.
    God bless you and your family.
    Love a sister,
    Jo-Jo

    Can you show before pics and after … I had a double mastectomy due to breast cancer and my reconstruction doctor referred me to have the surgery because of complications with the implants and she thinks I would be a good candidate for this surgery

    Also are you happy with your new breast? Do they look real? I was thinking about getting tattoos to cover any scar tissue.

    I'm going to be having this surgery in the Spring once school is out for my kids. Could you choose what size you wanted your breast to be. I was a double D before my mascetomy but I don't want to be that big again. I'm thinking a nice C cup.

    This video is so helpful!!! I am so happy I found it! I will be heading to Nola for surgery Aug 24th and you clarified so much. I am nervous about my menstrual starting while I’m recovering. Could you speak to that at all?

      I just realized you are having your surgery tomorrow. Chemo stopped my menstrual cycle so I can't speak to that piece of it. I know you are in amazing hands at NOLA. Will be praying for smooth surgery and lots of healing. Be patient with yourself!

    Just wondering how you did walking up and down the stairs? I have a lot of stairs at home and am worried about that.

    • @bymellowe5780
      @bymellowe5780  2 роки тому +2

      Martha, I don't have a lot of stairs but even on flat land, it was difficult to move around the first couple weeks. Maybe choosing a location (upstairs or downstairs) as your main hub for those first few weeks would be ideal. I know a few women who rented a recliner so they could sleep on their main level. Sending you hugs and prayers.
