I saw The Clash on the first night (23 Sept.) on this series of shows at Mogador in 81 and didn't remember at all that the band opened with "Broadway" followed by "One More Time", and that their upcoming single “This Is Radio Clash” was coming so early into the setlist !!! I wrongly thought they opened with "London Calling". My memory is seriously failing me (but hey, that was 42 years ago!!!😉).
@@bazarboy75 According to the blackmarketclash website, the band played "Rebel Waltz" on September 23, 1981, but that was so long ago that I have no memory of it! I like to think they played it because it's one of my favourite Sandinista songs!

Really, really great, thank you! Including a unique version of Police and Thieves, the likes of which I don't think I've ever heard before. So much to love, but One More Time is a real standout for me! And, OMG, the audience is great, especially doing the backing vocals for Safe European Home ... mucho gracias!
Errata corrige, it’s 26 of september and not october as you have written at the begginning of video (you have written 10-26-1981 instead 9-26-1981). Anyway it’s one of their best live performance ever! Maybe at no.1 in my personal list.
... and per the poster the beat opened so it is was a pretty amazing all time great twin bill...broadway is such a great song, special performance for sure!
Re listening today. Awesome energy from the crowd! Lots of love there (:
I think this is now in my top 5 live clash concerts
