Really, really great, thank you! Including a unique version of Police and Thieves, the likes of which I don't think I've ever heard before. So much to love, but One More Time is a real standout for me! And, OMG, the audience is great, especially doing the backing vocals for Safe European Home ... mucho gracias!
Definitly a great gig ! Is that the polive version with ranking rogers you speaking about ?
Hey, thanks for posting this!
My pleasure mate
I saw The Clash on the first night (23 Sept.) on this series of shows at Mogador in 81 and didn't remember at all that the band opened with "Broadway" followed by "One More Time", and that their upcoming single “This Is Radio Clash” was coming so early into the setlist !!! I wrongly thought they opened with "London Calling". My memory is seriously failing me (but hey, that was 42 years ago!!!😉).
Did you remember that they played rebel waltz that night ?
@@bazarboy75 According to the blackmarketclash website, the band played "Rebel Waltz" on September 23, 1981, but that was so long ago that I have no memory of it! I like to think they played it because it's one of my favourite Sandinista songs!
@@bazarboy75 According to one account, the band played "Rebel Waltz" on 23 September 1981 but that was so long ago that I have no memory of it! I like to think they played it because it's one of my favourite songs by The Clash.
Best version of know your rights I’ve ever heard
there is also the US festival one but no Topper on this one
PRESENTE!
It’s great
Toppers drumming is amazing
Amazing version of Broadway
Check charlie and washington also amazing
Joe Strummer on the Bass ❤
Errata corrige, it’s 26 of september and not october as you have written at the begginning of video (you have written 10-26-1981 instead 9-26-1981).
Anyway it’s one of their best live performance ever! Maybe at no.1 in my personal list.
you're right corrected !
@@bazarboy75these have made my day blasting these right out thanks strummers rhythm guitaring is the best he is the best frontman ever 1000%
