Ryans character evolution in this show was nuts.
His career escalated quickly 😂
He also helped write a few episodes if I’m not mistaken.
I love it because it's one of the few times a show has deliberately made a character get worse and worse as time went on 😂
@jenduh yeah he started off so hopeful doing his MBA, wanting to learn sales Dr Dwight etc. But yeah...esp with how he treated Kelly...true narcissist
@@kyledowning6108he wrote his whole character. He was the reason for the change because it’s what he wanted
I like how an actual fire in the office went far smoother than the fire drill 😂
To be fair, the doors all opened just fine in that case and none of the doorknobs were warm.
"EVERYONE STAY F---KING CALM!"
Today, smoking is gonna save lives.
"Have you ever SEEN a burn victim!?"
Yeah they were calm because the fire wasn’t shooting at them
Ryan went from the straight man of the office to an absolute maniac. I love it
He went from "I don't want to be a something guy, here" to being the fire guy.
@@MyRealName *fired guy
The "How's my favorite branch" after Michael rehired him, I was like "wait, what?..." lmao he was really thrown around
It's what happens to you after 3 months of the Michael Scott exposure test.
Agreed - it totally broke him.
watching michael slowly come to appreciate dwight and looking down on ryan is the most satisfying use of a dynamic character i've seen in any show
Micheal running out as fast as he can on the security camera is so funny
I so wish he fell down the stairs like that later scene 😄 when Pam is leaving for art school
He's such a child
The textbook guy doesn't have a line, but his face and reaction are absolutely perfect.
He looks like he’s about to cry!
he said sure tho
@@princessconsuela9012 why won't he, the college textbooks are hella expensive
Michael was always so nice to Ryan in every episode and then just completely frags him in front of his entire university class while he’s up in the front and walks out 😭
Ryan stopped believing in paper
Ryan shot first by calling him and his company obsolete.
Ryan : I don't wanna have a thing here.
Also Ryan : The temp, The fire guy, Beard etc etc
fireD guy
Angela and Dwight double teaming for that fire drill hysteria was about what I expected from that couple.
"and your ebony tower" might be one of the funniest lines i've ever heard oh my god
Micheal Scott is the opposite of "A Captain never leaves his ship" 😂
In an office, manager is ranked higher than Captain. On a ship who knows? It’s nebulous.
I believe that's "Rats flee the sinking ship first".
Or however you say it in English idk.
Children first.
He didn't want a lawsuit on his hands
@@matthewriley7826 i think you mean nebulose*
Nice of Micheal to clear a path for everyone. What a true hero!
Same as George in Seinfeld. Misunderstood in their time!
@@nthgth When rewatching this scene, I immediately thought of that scene as well! So happy someone else though of George!
"When I was Ryan's age, I worked in a fast food restaurant to save up money for school. And then, I lost it in a pyramid scheme..." LOL!!!
Siiixty niiine
Ryan went from being the most normal character to one of the most abnormal.
I like how even the professor's confusion with Michael turned to disappointment in Ryan when he realized that he basically set his boss up to fail after trashing his company.
Journey from "I don't wanna be a guy here" to "Fire-d guy."
Kevin just made the list
I wanted to like but u have 69 likes and I respect that
@@lisazadrozny7775 Thanks
Little old man boy may be my favorite line in the office 😂😂 gets me everytime
🍻
I love how Michael thinks that he and Ryan are good friends.
Best friends/mentor. Though later Michael realizes Ryan doesn’t respect him.
@matthewriley7826 well put. He has always annoyed Ryan to no end to chase him away.
they are. thats why they have matching goatees
Those were his words though
Most important thing to remember, is that RYAN STARTED THE FIRE! 🔥
Went from Michael voice to Dwight voice
I love how Michael proved them all wrong and made Dunder Mifflin overcome all competition and carve out its own place in the industry
Ryan’s reaction at 6:22 is just pure gold. Cracks me up every time I see this episode.
Ryan started out so normal and smart
😂 or was it that we just didn't know who he was yet? 🤣 Like, we didnt get to know his character as well as we did jim or Michael's
That's why I love it when Ryan gets arrested...😮😅
No his character is treated so harshly.
"Little old man boy" sounds like someone who will turn 30 in November and who loves to ride the bull would say
😅😂😊
Creed reference*
"Ryan started the fiyaaaa" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂
I was wondering this: when Michael told Ryan to clear his desk after the business school lecture, I was starting to wonder if Michael actually had cause to fire Ryan. Usually when you are hired by a company, one of the rules you have to agree to is to not represent the company you are with negatively.
Also he hadn’t made a sale even though he’s a sales rep. So that also is grounds for termination.
9:10 This is the exact moment when Ryan turned to the dark side
While Dwight should’ve respected Ryan’s space, Dwight was highly mistreated in this episode. He got Ryan’s question right, but Michael decided to belittle him instead, just to protect his own wounded ego, then Dwight goes back in for Michael’s phone & calls Dwight an idiot for it.
That's kind of Michael's thing... Dwight is uncool in his eyes, unlike Jim and Ryan, so he basically becomes canon fodder whenever Michael's feeling insecure. Michael doesn't know how to appreciate people outside social hierarchies (little bit of an improvement after Dwight got fired though)
7:34 How did I miss the 'ebony" tower?! Hahahha...
"Little old man boy...bearded man boy" 😂
As a college student Michael tearing apart the textbook hurt me to my soul
Dude that guy was crying
Ryan was definently the "douchey guy"
10:40 Stanley’s like he finally found his mind and I didn’t need to help
Ryan was never the same after this 😂
0:15 I don't wanna be the "something" guy.
Ryan jinxed himself so hard that he became "Fire Guy" lol
1:12 how I love this part😂😂
Fire-ed Guy
Then Hire-d guy 😂
LOL Kevin calling Ryan a “little old man boy” has always been one of my favorite lines of the show 😂😂😂
Micheal just casually ignoring that Kevin almost died💀
Dwight trying to cheer up/defend Michael and getting yelled at for it always made me really sad
"I don't wanna be a guy here"
Becomes the fire/fired guy
"Ryan started the fire" will always be one of my favorite songs😂
Michael conflating being a guest speaker with graduation is so funny
Ryan never wanted to be known as a guy but Kevin calls him "fired guy"
Why have I seen this clip a hundred times only yet it only just registered that he was top of the leading branch if DM and had never been to any type of school for it? He really is such a great businessman, despite his obvious lack of common sense and lack of business school. And heart of fucking gold❤
He wasn’t first, he was second. His branch when first that other dude resigned, the one Jim transferred to.
If you check on min 1:23 you can see on the left side the camara man for a sec
6:15 the way Ryan panic cuz knows Michel gonna do something the puts his hand on his guts is priceless bro
The textbook guy. Didn't have to say anything but that face; lol!
Ryan was so well put and much more that we ended up. Hating and loving him. That's how good he was as Ryan.
The fact that Ryan didn't want to be a "guy" but he ultimately became the fire guy
I have never successfully watched Michael give the talk to the students, I can't not keep fast forwarding out of cringe
I'm struggling to watch it now
I’m so glad im not the only one
He became the fire-d guy... 😂
It's inevitable, Mr. Howard.
Why is today a special day?
"I almost died"
Today is a special day because....
"little old bearded man boy" 😂
Bj Novak/ Ryan is an executive producer of the Show. He amd John/Jim went to school together and were good friends
Every fire alarm drill we have, i run like this
"German's nickname for me is the little man?" Kevin predicted it!
04:05 Is that Stanleys character breaking aswell as Phyllis' character? lol
God I love how this channel really know the series and puts it up. Other channel just put a simple title or meh, and this one knows. Little old man boy
I love how they started dancing.
“Little old man boy, bearded man boy”
Michael almost had a genius presentation when he started tearing up the textbook. Textbooks are literally made of paper.
As Michael systematically goes through all the annoying things people say about post-secondary education . . .
I miss you man and I love you 😂
Funny how Ryan said he didn’t want to be the “something guy” but he became fire guy
Michael went to the University of Life
Ryan didn’t want to be the “something” guy. Almost immediately he became the fire guy 😂
Ryan is the Guy that Michael Scott lusts after, either openly or just in his heart. No, he never made a physical move on him.. but..
Just say man crush bro
He almost did make a move during the dundies
@@haitiankid9456 same thing
@@haitiankid9456 I’m not a bro, since you decided to critique my choice of words. Oh yeah, I remember that millennials and everyone younger calls everyone Bro.
"Ryan started the FIRE!!" hahahahahaha
Ryan started the Fire🔥🎵
He became what he hated the "fire guy"
I used to be the Ryan of my office then I became Michael now I’m Stanley.
10:39 Momentarily, Stanley gained respect for Ryan!
Michael doing his best Josh Hawley impression during the fire.
Ryan predicted that Dunder Mifflin would go off in 5 to 10 years, and then, at 8 season it's bought by Sabre :o
Season 6 actually
Sabré
2:04
Interview in the conference room
Little did he know he would be known as the GUY who started the fire
"His words"
He started a fire trying to make a cheezypeeta
Even in the office he is the littleman after inglorious
Ryan is the show writer guy, isn’t he? He’s one of the creators of all the guys. He’s like the uber guy.
They should’ve rename this episode the day we almost got burned
Welp! Turns out he ended up being the fire(d) guyyy 😂😂😂
Instead he’s the “little man boy” 😂😂
"...and everyone thinks he's a tease.":
Ryan the 'started the fire' guy
"I can't believe I started the fire"
It was always burning since the world's been turning
God I love the office 🤣🤣🤣
6:35 Gus in the backround 😅
Ryan started the FIRE!
Just a friendly reminder to David Peters to shut up about the fire. SHUT UP ABOUT THE FIRE!
Yes girl that coach bag is stunning!!!
Earth. You don't have to be crazy to live here. ... But it helps. I dunno, just use the best one.
Ebony tower😂
"You cannot learn from books"
Micheal does not play behind those fires 😂😂😂😂 completely left his employees behind
11:52 I mean i know it’s not much but I would think Dwight should knows at least something about business doesn’t he run a B&B in the Agro-tourism industry? 😅
“Fire-ed guy”
Who knew that had more than one meaning?
When I got my office job I was like Ryan. I was not a guy with something at my job and that helped me open my own business
Best show ever made
