There’s a reason NSF hit 1m subscribers! Thanks for the great coverage, Jack.
i remember jacks first few videos and boy did he sound hella nervous, safe to say he has fully settled into the role, love to see it
Congratulations for 1 million subs Jack.
24/7 live feeds at the end of update, awesome touch. Adds abit more polish to the already amazing update videos. Thanks again NSF team.
Ooo early member release! I love being an NSF member! ❤
While I'm a fan of ALL the NSF crew, Jack is definitely my favorite geek on the team.
🫶
Agreed
The guard entrance labeled "Stargate" Great reference.
I would love to see a little mini episode about what Jack Beyer has to do throughout his day to capture all the awesome footage
That's the tv show 24. This dude is named "Jack Beyer."
hahaha
Thanks for not fooling us on this episode, super cool content as always
Thanks Jack! You definitely deserve some bacon now! 🥓
Great Starbase Update Jack, Thank you!!
"Construction complete. New construction options."
Congrats on 1M! A real deal milestone.
A practical explanation for the starship launch mound being destroyed at the Florida site, might be that a more conventional system may be used instead. In this case, the launch tower with chopsticks could stil be used, without any need for elongating the tower in order to accommodate the longer starship version 3.
Alex most definitely has a way with words whether it's during a live stream or writing for these recorded videos👍Thank you team NASASpaceflight.
Can't get enough of Jack and his updates! Thank you for another Monday scoop. 😊
The fact that Starship production is ongoing inside the building even though it is not completely built makes me think of the second Death Star. Totally amazing.
Thanks jack
Thanks for the update Jack!
Great video, thanks Jack and NSF team!
I'm so looking forward to the feeling of excitement when the next test starts!
Things are going well. Optimism rules the day. Keep up the great work NSF.

Fantastic update! I was just there… You are spot on!
Great coverage thanks for the update Jack
3:07 is hilarious :D great work!
Thank you so much, Jack and folks, for the good news!
Loved seeing Starbase in person last week. So cool to see how everything actually fits together
One week from today, I will be heading down there for a couple of days. I can't wait!
One question as I plan to visit Starbase soon, can you still park at the parking lot in front of the Starbase sign, last year I could, but since it was now paved and organized I'm not sure where to park anymore :)
@lennartschmidt7255 I think so. I saw a few families walking back with kids so I'm thinking they weren't SpaceX employees.
@@RealAndySkibba Thank you so much! Sounds like the lot is still public space :) Have a great day!
As always be excellent to each other :)
Brilliant; pretty brilliant; Jack Beyer actually took a breath! Overall...Brilliant...Baggins xx
Jack, you're awsome! And your presentation style! I just love it!!!
Great info, thank you!

Jack looks great. Good idea to keep his bread is cleaned up. He is already a great host and looks the part today. Well done.
Beard is looking good Jack!
Thank you NSF! Quality stuff
Yay thanks Jack ,great update. Well written as always too thanks Alex.
Another great update ❤
2024, the Year of Starship 🤘
Thanks for the narrated videos, I appreciate the more human approach/production compared to some other channels!
this is what im living for.
nice shave man, you look good.
Love it. Great work team
nice update, thanks
1 million subscribers, and this is only the beginning !
Congrats on the 1M subs
I was listening to this while driving and the background music's sirens gave me a heart attack.
Thanks Jack
Another outstanding update from Starguy
😂😂😂
@@JackABeyer Not gonna stop the Starguy hype until you introduce yourself on SBL as such 🤣
Congrats on 1M subs!!!! You guys deserve it!
That starship nose looks really clean and shiny!
Monday's start off great with Jack and Team at NSF. Informative & entertaining. Keep up the awesome work!
SpaceX is going to be the world’s authority on manufacturing with stainless steel.
Congrats on 1M
Great job Jack.
Nice cleaned-up look, @jackbeyer!
Its great to be a Star fan😂
Thank you, NSF! Love your channel 💯❣
Imagine seeing 1-2 or even 3 starships a day rolling out the starship factory ! It would be mind blowing ! 💢
One Million subscribers! Whoot Whoot!
I was at StarBase today 4/2 hoping to see you Jack. No such luck. Still a great visit. It changes so much so quick.
I’m here! Ive been out here all day! Look for the NSF truck
Sorry I missed you.
@@JackABeyer I’m disappointed that I didn’t see you. I would love to meet you. Like I always say, Jack and Jake are my favorite NSF personalities.
To those of us who were around during the 1960's and experienced the spectacularly ambitious pace of America's space program during that decade, this feels familiar.
Congrats on the 1m subscribers - you folks do a fantastic job
I was worried for a second that Starbase exploded. Thanks for clarifying :)
Funny, I had noticed the “curve” in the Starfactory and thought it was lens distortion.
Mid bay dust in space... awesome.
Great video! Love the work you all do! Minor gripe though, there was something that sounded like a police siren looping in the background that was rather jarring. Don't know if it was the song, or IRL while Jack was talking. Anyway, always looking forward to your next video!
Stretched on v3 might be with engine upgrade to v3.
Re-> the facade... 2:04 Does it look like a giant triangular corner, looks like that to me. The diagonal purlins match the already installed purlin frames for window on side.
Congratulations on 1m subs! 👍
Normal Starbase Update: great Starbase Update
Jack Starbase Update: Mid Bay is going to space!
Need another high bay 2 !!!!
Looks great!!
Cool 😮
NSF's got us covered! Congrats on 5M subbies, Jack & co.!!
1 million, not 5.
Just a thought,, if you're building an orbital launch mount for version 3 perhaps would you redo the legs and the bottom section to account for taller rockets and more mass??
As Jack stated version 3 is many, many years down the road so that is not an issue that anyone could address.
Well certainly they know for sure that in the future, the weight loading on the piles will be greater. (Longer Booster or Starship = more propellant and weight) So maybe they are going to make larger diameter legs or even a larger diameter circle. Maybe even a triangular leg shape for better dissipation of the exhaust. May as well do it now with all the data they have on the current model.
Good job. "Many weeks?"
It's fascinating to watch the progress and money being poured into this. I have mixed emotions.
Neat!
Not far from IFT-1 anniversary 🎉
They need to solve the issue with boosters landing burn!
Jack, that beard is looking good.
Thanks..#Space2Xplore
from what ive heard, tho its just a roumor, the 39A pad will be radically different from starbase pad because current OLM design has prooven to be not very practical and does a poor job at deflecting accoustic waves into "safe areas", and instead entire surrounding area gets beaten by shockwaves
That makes sense
Hurricane to come put this place to the test one day.
Hey y'all
Have there been any updates on R3, like any test recently of R3
Getting closer.....
Do they fully understand the pitch/roll control problem on flight 3? Have they done the fix on the next booster and ship?
hold on. .. .wait a minute. . .. Jack with a groomed and structured beard??? don't believe it!! its got to be an AI Jack! LOL 😂 😂
LOL
So will they make tower #2 taller now to cope with the stretched ship and booster?
Jack, where adventure hat?
1st off, I'm a huge SpaceX fan but have a major concern regarding fuel usage. I've noticed in all flight tests that the ending fuel levels on the booster is practically empty. Can you give some info on why this is the case when there is no cargo on board? It seems like it's was fully fueled at takeoff. Thanks
I can, first of all they did not fully fuel it at launch and secondly both the booster and ship dumped their extra propellant after their first burns to help simulate the real conditions eg. 150 tons of payload added
I love how Jack has different beard style in every video
How's that orbital test going?
I come to these Starbase Updates just for 9:04 😂😂
What's Pathfinder hardware?
Why do the cryogenic hoses need to be replaced so often?
