@Trinity Breann I don’t know where your comment disappeared to, but you are correct. It’s Siberian weasel. There’s some pretty tricky laws that let them say sable. After this video i looked into it further. The only real way to tell if it’s at least weasel, is by the feel. Also Usually they will say just Kolinsky if it’s nylon, but Kolinsky sable if it’s animal hair.

Hey, we all suck at first, but having a decent brush helps so much. It kinda removes one roadblock so you can move forward easier. But don’t let it get you down, it took a full year of every day practice before mine stopped looking like grave digger claws lol.

It’s still a good inexpensive brush. I think the price may have gone up a little. I really like the beetles wooden handled brush too. Its an exact copy of the wooden pana. I’ve given away tons of both as gifts. I believe it’s already pinched as well.

Wrong sorry but agh. Kolinsky sable is an actual type of sable usually from siberia. Its a subspecies. Like a pitbull dog. Or a parrot bird. Idk. You shiukd get the point. Not all sable is kolinsky but all kolinsky sable is sable. Now cheap brands lie or just use the smallest amount of cheap sable

I suggest starting with the beetles size 8. It’s about $14. And pure sable. It’s an exact copy of the pana

This is a great one. But the beetles wooden handled brush is an exact copy of the pana wooden handle

I wanted to stop in and say thank you for the info you gave in this video. I'm researching and learning about what brush to get. I've been using a kiss #8 for about a year. I advanced to forms only and need a real brush🤣would a #10 be good or should I go with a #12? Any help would be appreciated.
If the 8 is comfortable i would go with A 10. I moved up to a ten pretty fast but a 12 still feels really big to me even after all this time.
Also you may want to check out the beetles wooden handled brush. It’s an exact copy of my pana wooden brush and great quality. Just like the kads. It’s just a little bigger so a size 10 is more like an 11. The kads is still a great brush but the price went up a little. If you have time, i would check out both.

Although honestly the kads and beetles look pretty similar, the beetles is just a tad wider at the tip, where the kads is more pointed. I don’t know if you can see it In the pics but Irl, that’s how they behave.

What size brush would you recommend for beginners. I have a small nail bed. I wanted to see if i should start off with a large brush ? But I’m not sure
Most start with a size 8 and work up to a large brush when it’s comfortable. Even now I’m most comfortable with a ten. There’s no real reason you need a large brush, it’s just a personal preference. And later if you’re doing nails a lot it lets you pick up a lot of acrylic at once, if you’re doing nails professionally and need speed or are doing extra long sets

Size 8 is what is recommended, i preferred q size ten starting out though. Size 8 slowed me way down

I prefer this one to my pana. I have the wooden pana.
That brush really sucks I bought it and as soon as I cleaned it it started shedding like crazy and when I try doing a set it was horrible.

In this video i was using glam and glits. But i use a lot of different things. Glam and glits is one of my favorites for colored acrylic though

Don't get the blue marble. I had a few of them and they all crapped out within a week. The redwood one is the best of theirs I've used so far. Everyone I know with the marble had issues. Not sure about the purple
