I love you guys! Thanks so much for your years of entertainment. Compliments for each of you to follow:
Monty, I base the majority of my DMing off of your style. I'm going to adopt Auriara and the constructs into my world. I love that you can balance goofy and whimsical with serious and super deep story arching.
Zito, I can't wait to bust out some alligator people like Anslo Greene in my world too. I've loved your zaniness and wacky characters from TFS at the table. Mark my words, Pistachio will return again. Grammy is the GOAT npc.
Mark, I appreciate the nuance and depth you give to your characters in terms of personality, hopes, fears, dreams, insecurities. Saika and Iscan are some of the greatst depths I've ever seen in player characters. Your voice acting is stellar and I'm always excited to hear that your talents are being recognized in new anime productions.
Connor, I love gateway and I appreciate the memes and funnies you add both in-game and above game. Your voice acting abilities are crazy good, I love hearing Otho speak. Panic Grimtongue is the gold standard for bards in my books, and his story arc was incredible. I started listening to Lani's Role with Me because I found out you're in it.
Bosco, I've always been a fan of the half-time shows and I was stoked that Remy got to stick around in the first campaign. Your positive energy is infectious and I admire your commitment to character choices even in the face of negative consequences. Being willing to take risks and make mistakes makes your characters relatable and adds interesting conflict to the story.
Gaijin, I've appreciated your adaptability in role-play situations immensely. Your character arc with Greckles went in such unexpected directions that made for a rich and rewarding ending for him (trying not to spoil anything just in case). Milo's journey to reconciling and accounting for the sins of the Orin clergy is an interesting insight to real life, particularly in how religion is perceived in the modern world.
Japanese days of the week aren't that strange when you realize what the Gregorian/Julian weekdays are named for; Sunday=sun, Monday=moon, Tuesday=Tyr, Wednesday=Woden(Odin), Thursday=Thor, Friday=Frig, Saturday=Saturn, so two celestial bodies, four Germanic gods and an odd Roman god.
When Otho said "We'd have to kill a lot of goblins?" I imagined him doing that big, wide Grinch grin xD
Glad I wasn't the only one, man has some repressed aggression to let out.
the 3 dwarfs... they are the cousins of the 3 dwarfs from alavast from campaign 1 outside the sweet dragon
js
On today's episode of the Unexpectables. Milo eats dirt, Gaius creates a childhood memory, Otho is unrecognizable, Isqan receives a a CV and Ky shuffles up and deals.
A CV?
@@blizzardforonline1954
Curriculum vitae, or, as some may know it, a Resume.
CV is a secondary coloquial term for it
Cover letter/resume
For some reason I was thinking CV meant aircraft carrier.
OMG MONTY HAS THE "OI!" GUY TRACK!
ABABABABA
Hehe
Oi!!
Also thanks for doing this for us even though some of you are not at 100%.
I think Remy (lvl20) could defeat Reirjorar if he is a berserker which I think he is because he used retaliation which is a berserker ability. Unless he has a magic item or being half giant gives him resistance to dying like a zealot then yes he would win.
The thing is Reirjorar isn't
Yeah. In 5e, casters level 5 and higher have the advantage when it comes to one on one combat.
Summoning meteors has the edge vs three axe swings lol.
@@onixrobot2031Laughs in Half-Orc Bearbarian
Yeah, Remy shield was op
@@jefferyoneill1 Cute. *Laughs in wall of force hemisphere with no save*
*Laughs in wish*
*Laughs in going first so your rage doesn't matter*
*Laughs in staying out of range so you can't hit me so you waste rage*
Come on man. Bearbarian really ain't gonna do anything to a caster with sense.
The days of the week in Japan are based on what we call the planets here.
Sunday 日曜日(Nichiyoubi) - Sun
Monday 月曜日(Getsuyoubi) - Moon
Tuesday 火曜日(Kayoubi) - 火星(Kasei) Mars
Wednesday 水曜日(Suiyoubi) - 水星(Suisei) Mercury
Thursday 木曜日(Mokuyoubi) - 木星(Mokusei) Jupiter
Friday 金曜日(Kinyoubi) - 金星(Kinsei) Venus
Saturday 土曜日(Doyoubi) - 土星(Dosei) Saturn
I just gotta say, with how used I am to Monty's cadence, the way she did the introduction was making me expect her say, "That... is where we will end our session" and for a split second that threw me off. XD
That Bosco is Batman theory is interesting bit here is my counter theory, you never see Monty and Batman in the same room at the same time, and she hates guns, coiincidence? Or is she the Canadian Batman, BATMON?!
A level 20 eldritch knight clears a level 20 zealot barbarian, it takes careful tactics but its definitely doable
It takes the consistency of the 5E Fighter
@@ZombieJesus1987 that it will
I appreciate you and how you play Ky Bosco he feels very relatable

No damage numbers update form me today. This session ends on day 246. IronKind is exactly how I imagined it. And oh my god that ending lmao.
Get well soon Zito! ❤
36:22 The most common line said in the funniest way possible.
Let's GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! Iron oxidation!
Connor you're a good brother and Uncle
Tomb of tones? Sounds like a crypt filled with bard corpses.
time for wacky wahoo dwarflandia adventures
Is it just me or is Ironkind just built as a reverse Alivast, with the 'higher class' districts just deeper down.
I think I was with Conner in his confusion. Where is Pearl again, and if its not here or close by why are they here? Just for the Teleportation Circle, and Gauis stuff?
Hi Bosco! Hi, Mark! And you've really been a trooper, Zito. I sincerely hope you've been feeling better sice wednesday
What was there mothers original country im assuming its the magic hating country i forget its name
How close are they to getting the next “Pearl of Necrecta”?
3:41:00 THE 3 DRUNK DWARVES ARE BACK
Hooray its back, been sick the past month like Zito so Ik ur pain Zito
funfact the group i play in on fridays for years our party name is the reclaimers!
I wonder if Brutus forbade people from rescuing Otho as a sort of Heihachi Mishima style trial for his sons to overcome
If I may, I would like to suggest an NPC who would apply for the position of lawkeeper in Isenvale
Korthora Ebonmane
Male Leonin Paladin (Oath of Redemption)
A strangely dark and dour individual, he is a Ketchian, devoted to a philosophy of unflinchingly enforcing law while seeking to reduce recidivism rather than a follower of divine dogma. In terms of real-life inspiration, look at the philosophies of Hobbes. He very much believes that the natural state of man is self-interested, deceitful, and violent, and that it is through the pressure of law and social bonds that mortalkind elevates themselves from beasts. He also believes in turning to intellectual pursuits rather than alcohol to relieve the stress born of being a jailor and executioner, having a particular enjoyment of poetry and calligraphy, with a particular interest in the styles from the Eastern Isles and Tracadia.
1:50:54 “if this man wanted you dead he would’ve killed you already” *radio static intensifies*
Finally, a real fucking city
What the heck is the peasant railgun?? I know it has nothing to do with the actual game they played this time, but what the actual fuck lol?!
I imagine the cyclops's are like the Hiking Bears from Drum Island in One Piece
I WASN'T THE ONLY WHO THOUGHT OF IT

3:43:04 i like your joke! :D
What time did Monty scream
Grampy Bluntsilver is Jijimon and you can’t convince me otherwise.
47:58 Does Monty know that tomatoes are, in fact, a fruit?
03:25:08 been wondering that also
On naming days of the week. the 5 planets visible by eye (Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn) are represented by the five elements listed and they fit the naming scheme of the Romans
For example Thursday is the Germanized version of Dies Iovis (day of Jupiter) and Jupiter the planet represents the element wood, which is the name sake for the Japanese name Mokuyobi. Therefore my hypothesis is the name scheme originates a few thousand years earlier in Proto-Eurorasian (aka Proto-Indoeurorpean) culture. Along with other cultural memes like the Chaoskampf motiv where a storm god fights chaos in form of a snake. Like Susanoo vs Yamato no Orochi in Japan, or Zeus vs Typhon ancient Greece, or Thor vs Jörmungandr Norse, and Marduk vs Tiamat in Babylon
Also Ra and Apophis in Egypt.
Also, we could also get some of the days of the week from Norse mythology. For example, Thursday= Thor's Day, and Wednesday = Woden's Day, Woden being another name for Odin
02:12:57 that wS actually startling
There's always Dwarven bread.
36:20
Isqan: Why are we shouting?
Milo: IGODALETTAH
Amazing. 🤣
Do the "huh" more please
feel better Zito!
Is Ky stupid? I know he’s a wizard and supposedly high intelligence He should see the danger in going to an obviously suspicious and Untrusting civilization and talk openly about espionage right in front of their uncharacteristically understanding official Monty decide to throw them a bone
Hahaha
*listens to Bosco inventing blackjack* Bosco don't try to DM in other people's games
He does that a lot
@@jessenielsen7218 I know right?
@@thehulk86 he did it a lot as Remy
@@jessenielsen7218 he does it all the time because he wants to DM even when he's the player
y'all just hate good roleplaying smh Bosco can't do nothing without haters leeching onto him
y'know, I've been going back through campaign 2 and I realized something. Ky and Otho's backstory makes absolutely ZERO sense given the way Bosco chose to play Ky in the first 20-30 episodes of the campaign. We have a wizard, who refuses to cast spells until level fucking 3 or 4 despite being handed a free spellbook by the DM. He's socially awkward, more often than not is unnecessarily rude to people, and has no other appreciable skills whatsoever. So HOW IN THE BLUE HELL are we supposed to believe that Ky rescued Otho from an ogrewife stronghold? Ky has ZERO combat abilities, he didn't even have a bow until he stole it off his brother in the middle of a fight, he can't make friends with strangers to save his fucking life, and he has the charisma of an autistic cardboard box. So how is it possible he broke into Grimbones and busted Otho out? He's too weak to have done it himself, and too unlikable to have convinced others to help him
Damn just say you don’t like the character and move on 💀
@@Blind_Dragoon I don't mind the character, I absolutely HATE the player though, I'd much rather have someone like Hbi2k or Grant from TFS at the Table take his place
@@thehulk86 Then go rewatch TFS at the Table. Bosco has been a mainstay in The Unexpectables since halfway through campaign 1 and that isn’t going to change just because you don’t like him 💀
@@Blind_Dragoon I know, I'm not gonna stop
@@thehulk86 then maybe consider stopping the need to harass Bosco. Have you thought at all how disrespectful it is, not only to him who you KNOW reads these comments, but also to the rest of the table? He is their friend and I can promise you they don’t want to hear how much you apparently hate him.
