- What’s up everyone hope you guys doing well. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for myself or my HOA community.. as you can clearly see, it’s completely out of control.
We desperately need channel 7 news or help me Howard to step in and investigate. Please spam them in the comments below. We tried reaching out to them, over 100 emails request from all the residents here with no response in almost 6 months..

We are located in South Florida. They have stated they want to pass a $30,000 special assessment very soon and if nobody can pay that they will be foreclosing mass amount of homes here.
I’m not sure how they’re able to actually do this but it’s absolutely unreal. Please help us and God bless you 🙏
At the end of the day I couldn't live somewhere that I have to get permission to do what I want to my home
@@lindamyrick626 I thought this was the land of the free ? Why do we feel trapped and borderline slavery and have to pay and answer to a community run by what feels like a dictatorship … somethings not right here
i dont understand the concept of an HOA, but i am European!
It's basically an apartment complex but instead of apartments it's houses, like if you live in a mobile home park you have all the same HOA bullshit... But yes it is definitely something people choose to be a part of and look. And I'm not sure about all HO A's but the houses that these people are living in are rent to own Which is another reason why the HOA has so much power over you, they don't technically own the house that they're living in until about 30 years later...
And I'm not sure how it is in Europe but in the US "tenant" just means homeowner even if you're not the actual homeowner, you're considered to be one of them to an extent If you're a tenant...
I'm gonna take a wild guess and just assume that it makes a lot more sense out in Europe, hopefully LOL

@@georgemulligan8958 they can run between 80-180k ish.. affordable for most people.. housing market right now is between 400-600k for anything decent if your lucky .. it would take a lifetime to pay that off ..
Honestly if was me id walk away and find a new place to live and rebuild my credit due to this bs!!!! The reality is the percentage of people that can pay this special assement will be close to 0 just walk away my friend!!!
@@Oldschool811 I really wish I could, but given the housing market in south Florida is horrendous, for a basic 2/2 with similar square footage as what I currently have (1100 ft) your looking from 400-700k.. I’m 32 now.. by the time I finish pay that off with my 40k a year job just doesn’t make sense… higher mortgage payments, high interest rates, high home insurance (which has doubled these past yrs), higher property tax, own maintenance needed (grass,trees cutting ect).. I’m done with the slavery, I just want to enjoy my life before it’s over ..

The one woman made an excellent pt if I pay and no one else does what happens to my money this situation is a disaster yall need to pool your money together and sue the source of this corruption 😮😮😮 collectivly it will be cheaper to pool your money and sue for damages hire an attorney please!!!! If you cant accomplish a lawsuit my best advice is find another place to live and walk away your credit will be ruined for a few years but its easy to rebuild trust me i know i sit at 815 now 20 yrs ago i was as low as you can go it took me a few years but its not hard😅😅
@@Oldschool811 the problem is finding another place to live is incredibly challenging. Most of everything down here is hoa condo community, 55+ older community or a house, housing market here have skyrocketing to a point it’s not affordable 500-800k for a basic 2/2.. if your lucky might find something cheaper but would need costly repairs done. I have nowhere else to go, i can’t afford a 500k mortgage + interest, only making 40k a year here, it would take me the rest of my life if I’m lucky .. the pay is low and the cost is disgustingly high
