Nice upgrade to the deck! I took it a bit further, went with 4 x Goldspan Dragon and 2 x Embercleave. You can t4 Kroxa and t5 cast both Goldspan AND Embercleave when you attack if you have the cards. That mana Goldspan generates also helps you to actually cast Tibalt and Smashing for full value.
@@allakarnes9310 I think having the one ox gives you huge upside over any single card you can play in the main. Every card you add instead of it, you only have the chance of drawing, but with ox, every time you mill you have the chance to hit it, and you're milling a lot more cards than you're drawing. I can definitly see your point since escaping for 8 can hurt, but just having the 1 of gives you the option so consistently, I think its very powerful. But yeah I've also been debating on 3rd Egon, having the turn 1 throne is just so good.
@@allakarnes9310 Oh nvm I just realised this was still my list with 2 ox lol. In that case you're absolutely right, the 2nd ox doesnt give you much, I cut it for a shredded sails actually.
Hello friend i am playing Rakdos and need some opinion about one card, the contest is i am losing a lot for the Sultai Ultimatun deck and Duress is not making a impact so i am thinking on put 4 Necromentia , this way we can target all the cards we can't deal with. With is your opinion abpout the card?
Yeah the Ultimatum matchup is hard, probably our worst matchup with Rakdos. Necromentia is probably the most effective answer to the deck, the question is just if we want to commit 4 sideboard slots to it. The matchup is very uphill and even if we resolve a necromentia we're still in a bad position, as we aren't losing to singular cards, we're losing to the deck as a whole. I personally think the matchup is so bad the sideboard can't fix it and we'd lose to much sideboard space for other matchups.
Lol I'm generally a mill player 🤣 but used to play speed burn 🔥 lol I loved when proliferate became a thing bcc you could drop a couple mana batteries use a bunch of proliferate cards then drop a fireball and fork it for an instant kill given your opponent has no untapped islands but thats also where mana short and power leak were amazeing bcc you could turn there own playstyle against em add a meekstone to that and people used to pack up there decks pretty fast lost alot of freinds playing that way tho 😅🤣 so now I'm to the point that I nerf alot of my actual decks so I still have people who will play
