What I can't understand is why so many people think that 70 is old. Times are rapidly changing, people are working longer before retiring, health is much better. I think that maybe 90 years may be considered old in the future. Anyway, some of the best music here you will ever hear from three awesome musicians. I am a great fan, having been brought up in their time and in the same place. Cream for ever!!!
WELL THIS WAS 19 YRS AGO. I WISH THIS WOULD SAY WHO WROTE THIS. It's AN OLD TUNE COVERED BY MANY PP. Only is left and he's 80 now and I never knew this band. I knew some oof the songs. I bought my only Clapton single in 1973 I shot the sheriff. I don't remember the b side. I have it in the next room. I'm 66
RIP Jack and Ginger... scores settled. debts paid in spades. They are both gone but the music they made together will out live all of us. Its timeless. Thank you for your music. Let it forever play on.
Gosh I love this. I have watched about 2 dozen times over the last year and it always makes me feel better. A better tribute to Jack Bruce's immense talent I have yet to find.
Nobody but just them can do this magic - it is not just personal skills, it is that unique set of bass, voice, guitar and drums you cannot find amy other band
For me the top 5 power trio’s ever are Cream, Rush, ZZ Top, The Police and The Jimi Hendrix Experience. Another great power trio is Triumph from Canada. RIP Ginger Baker, Jack Bruce, Neil Peart and Dusty Hill. We miss you.
Love the deep groovy sound of Jack's fretless bass. This is probably my favorite Cream tune...love Politician, too...but I go around humming this one and don't even realize it. Great!
As a classic-rock era vintage person myself, I am so proud of the musicians and the music of my youth---IMO, they measure up to any other generation of musicians, ever. Only the great jazz and swing (and top classical) musicians are up on thatsame raified level. The classic-rock musicans of the 60s and 70s will continue to be a yardstick agtainst which other generations' musicans will aspire to and be measured. It's not the technique that makes them and the music milestones (musicians generally get technically better each generation, IMO). It's the GREAT MUSIC they created, and the passion and devotion with which they gave it to the world, and continue to do so into their advanced age. This is what words like "greatness" and "classic" are all about.
ur not wrong. I talk to my friends, Eric is always shy in front of friends who are not his best, but Jack and Ginger make him relax! With them, Eric will use his best skills. Eric didn't have many real friends, so when Eric's best friend died. He will be particularly depressed. For example, Jimi Hendrix and SRV. When Jimi died, Eric said, I was so angry, he didn't take me away.
For years I have tried to think of a succinct way to describe the unique accomplishment this trio produces. They keep the listener BUSY every second. No other example I can think of in a live performance matches this quality.
Absolute SAHNE, auch schön anzusehen wenn sich das Publikum(50+) sehr emotionell-teils verstohlen-an die guten alten Zeiten errinnert. Diese 4 Tage waren schon an day one history. . . Thanks for upload!
Been listening to and loving Cream’s live version of this song since about 1969 or 70 on the album “Goodbye Cream”. Along with the live version of the song “Politician” from the same album, they’re 2 of my all time favourites.
😮David and Fred-i agree about the versions on W.O.F. and goodbye but maybe it's that I was 14 &15 when I listened to them and the hair on my neck stood up and I felt every note and accent, STILL- what a live take 50+ years on! Nobody has ever done it like these 3-and people think the Beatles had a short run to have had the influence they left, Cream did 3 years and out!
The quality of the audio and video recording and level of the performances in the is concert are much better than I ever imagined! Hopefully, the younger folks will dig on this. Standards surely have been set! Thanks for the posts!
true pioneers..the artists today can't even compete with these true musicians and a 3 man band to boot...Cream should reunite for at least 3 more albums.
@MUSESQ hey c'mon I'm 14 and love Cream. And although I won't deny watching video's of cat's flushing toilet's. I was listening to The Beatles as a 6 year old, I forgot about 'em for a while but a couple years ago I discovered them again. Now I'm a drummer, guitarist, bassist and keyboard player with every intention of keeping good rock music alive. Wish they had played I Feel Free at this show though. Love Bruce and Clapton's harmonizing during the verse's.
Still...very fine. Great ensemble playing...each supporting...Jack and Ginger wow...Eric gets most of the allocades but to me they're equals. Very tasty musicianship.
Cream was a huge influence in my music, and Jack was one of the people who got me interested in playing the harmonica, and i'm still playing 42 years later and always do this song when i sit in at blues jams.
Good grief, nobody watching these ? AMAZING. The BEST versions of Cream's versions of these songs. Well, I guess in days when rhyming, scratching records backwards, to the rhythm of turds bouncing off a trash can cover - well, I guess its a whole new audience. Have fun with the Ice Pee vids, kids ...
There is no better example of overpowering synergy...like a climax that's almost unbearably intense...with the whole being greater the the sum of the parts...enigmatic.
Always been more of a Duane Allman fan (and, of course, Hendrix) and while I liked Clapton, I never worshiped him like so many do. But get him with Jack and Ginger - wow! They always brought the best out of him (and each other). Great version of an old blues chestnut.
THANK GOD Cream got together for this reunion in 2005. They were better than ever. Three massive talents.
This music will never be played again.
Greatest bassist in my lifetime, without a doubt. God bless Jack.
Wow the tone of the guitar and the harmonica go perfect together
Cream = Pure gold

Superb tribute, sir!
Well said.

+Brian Finn Agreed! Jack really nailed it!!!
RIP Jack and thank you for a lifetime of great music and inspiration.
Nobody but just them can do this magic - it is not just personal skills, it is that unique set of bass, voice, guitar and drums you cannot find amy other band
That sweet eerie voice of Jack Bruce.
RIP
"Sweet eerie voice." Well put. Nobody sounded like Jack Bruce.
Gorgeous voice ,very Scottish in this .
The greatest power trio of all time. Rest in peace Jack, we miss you very much

Why this song isn’t on the album is a mystery. It’s one of their best.
probably because jack made some mistakes. I like it personally... dude is playing fretless bass, singing and harmonica
@@mgman71 Probably you are musician and you are right. But song has perfect vibe and I really miss it on cd.

Bruce and Baker both played jazz before Cream was formed, as I'm sure you know. A coincidence? Probably not.
60s and 70s rock era gave jazz a bigger, bluer and louder spectrum IMHO.
So sad that Jack and now Ginger have left us. Thanks for all the great music and memories.
Such a very very sad loss when Jack left our world...RIP..
What is it about playing with Jack & Ginger that absolutely brings out the best in Clapton? Am I wrong?
ur not wrong.
You're right, no doubt.
It's Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker of course you should put out your best effort just so you cannot be left out of the performance.
All of Clapton’s best is with cream. I’m my opinion, and I love a lot of his stuff.
They were both geniuses. Also the fact that Ginger wouldn't hesitate to enact violence on Eric or Jack. Fear is motivating.
Cream fans will miss you Jack.
BEST EVER. R.I.P. Ginger and Jack. Best drummer and bass player ever. LONG LONG live for Eric
I was in NYC in Nov 05 and saw them. Absolutely fantastic.
Jack Bruce wow another one gone and when they have all gone what are we going be left with.. RIP Jack.
great solo Eric!!! around the 4 min mark. WOW such a very good version and that inspires Jack's vocal on top of it !!!! Great!
Wow! Love it! It's like the PERFECT BLUES song (as performed by old, white English dudes!)
You are sitting on the top of the world RIP Jack Bruce.
I dunno if I ever have seen someone do Harmonica and Bass! So awesome!
Harmonica and fretless bass! And singing
Lemmy?
For years I have tried to think of a succinct way to describe the unique accomplishment this trio produces. They keep the listener BUSY every second. No other example I can think of in a live performance matches this quality.
Jack, the suffer got an End. Miss u and thank u so much for what u give me. Rest in Peace.
What a great live performance!
Good by Cream ,Rest in peace Jack, great musician so much soul in your music.

A favorite song and it doesn’t get better than this
My favorite version of this song. RIP Jack. And when Ginger eventually joins you in Heaven, I'm sure the two of you will still be fighting. :)
Cream was and is the SUPER BAND! And Clapton is God!!! These 3, Absolutely the Cream of the Crop!!!!!
CREAM is sitting on top of the world!
Everything about Clapton's playing blows me away here. He's culmination of raw blues at its best.
The Jack Bruce Band was never better!
Thanks theeshrimpking . Im enjoying this so much.
Never see anything again like this in our lifetime ❤️❤️❤️❤️
This is why they were called the CREAM
Been listening to and loving Cream’s live version of this song since about 1969 or 70 on the album “Goodbye Cream”. Along with the live version of the song “Politician” from the same album, they’re 2 of my all time favourites.
jack bruce vocals tops, it does'nt get much better than this, perfect cohesion by all players too good.
They were the best! I was angry for along time after they broke up. But then I was angry all the time anyway!!! It's still the best music ever!
I love their Wheels of Fire version. Notwithstanding, this made me cry!
David Joel I really liked the version on “Goodbye Cream. A special guitar solo.
😮David and Fred-i agree about the versions on W.O.F. and goodbye but maybe it's that I was 14 &15 when I listened to them and the hair on my neck stood up and I felt every note and accent, STILL- what a live take 50+ years on! @@colorblindfred Great track!!!
@@willyrocker4746 Yes. Willy, NOTHING like Cream. Never will be!
gingers face at 7 seconds in is the look of assurance that this song is going to go well.
40 years after they split and still getting it together! What a song!
What a priceless performance
The quality of the audio and video recording and level of the performances in the is concert are much better than I ever imagined! Hopefully, the younger folks will dig on this. Standards surely have been set! Thanks for the posts!

And to those that were lucky enough to see this in concert you witnessed Rock History
I love Gingers smile when he counts the beats

fuuuuck, ive not seen this before, but oh my god! that was amazing!
J.B. & E.C. at their absolute BEST!!! (maybe not a highlight for Ginger).
I love this
This track was not included, for whatever reason, on the album of this concert. A huge mistake, IMO. So good.
FABULOUS! There is no other word. Poor old Jack.
One of the greats rock trio!!! Reference point❤
Mind blowing
Some guys who play their own instruments. OMFG do they ever.
love hearing you sing Jack
The Bruce!
rest well
This is too good, even for legend's standards it's too good😂 definitely the best power trio in history
Jack doin; an old Howlin' Wolf song. Beautiful.
R.I.P., Brother
Mississippi Sheiks
Austin Wagner Yeah tell em

I wonder why they were called Cream....(cream always rises to the top). Such an amazing trio... and what a performance.
FANTASTC version. Great . Ciao Jack
Heaven to my ears :-)
Cualquiera de los tres fuera de Cream me impresionan menos. Esta versión es mi favorita.
Clapton has the softest touch that tone is so smooth
Que blues por favor!
Orgasmico ! Jaja
TOP GREAT version, thanks to my parents JACK, Ginger and ERIC
Most reunion concerts totally suck. This was better than ever.
So good. Jack really shinning on this one
So cool...
Truly fantastic - almost better than the version from the 60's.., yeah the guitar sounds better than then in this performance.
What a lovely dreamy blues
Sublime.
This is cream not sublime
Jack & Ginger jamming together again. Heaven's first power duo.
Impressed by GB's silent count-off/in.
they are really cream !! yes still so good
Eric Clapton's prime was 1963-1969 his comeback was in 1994 when he went back to the blues 🤘
what can i say thats not been said about these true english musicians they do it for me in a awesome way legends in their own lifetime.
Good evening😊❤❤❤❤❤
just great!
Every time I listen to this song I’m on top of the world myself B. Wright 1060
Jack Bruce stepped all over Clapton's fills.
Epic!
toujours cette superbe vois , Jack !!
It wasn't a mythical acid trip from half a century ago. The legend was real.
All time Gold. Eric still here ❤️
How tf can anyone dislike this video????
SMH
R.I.P. Ginger Baker
Again, when you think you can play guitar and then you watch this
