Hello! You can test to see if you can open the Word form in Google Docs, however the functionality in your form may not work if it is opened in other applications. It works best if the users also have access to Word. If you need another option, you can consider creating an online form in either Google Forms: ua-cam.com/video/VBFOOC8enVI/v-deo.html or Microsoft Forms: ua-cam.com/video/VMrGTMy2gaM/v-deo.html then users can fill in the form online or from their mobile device. I hope this helps! Thanks for watching!
Hello - do you need to have the current date/time displayed on your form, or are you trying to set up a field to capture for a user to input the time and date?
Are you trying to limit the number of characters a user can type in a cell in Excel? If so, yes, you can use Data Validation to set a maximum number of characters. You can test this out to see if it will work for you: Select the cell or range of cells where you want to apply the character limit. Go to the "Data" tab on the Excel ribbon. Click on "Data Validation" in the "Data Tools" group. In the Data Validation dialog box, select the "Settings" tab. In the "Allow" dropdown menu, select "Text Length". In the "Data" dropdown menu, select the condition you want to apply (e.g., "less than or equal to"). In the "Maximum" box, enter the maximum number of characters you want to allow in the cell. Click "OK" to apply the data validation. Now, when users try to enter data into the cell, Excel will enforce the character limit you specified. If they try to enter more characters than allowed, Excel will display an error message.
