It was the best selling album. Not Coldplay (who were actually pretty salty about Mariah being #1) and not Madonna.

Of course 2005 was one of the closest and most competitive years with those two albums.

The video started in 1983 because until 2023 is 40 years, and precisely in that year is when the female pop culture that we all mostly know began.
@@TOPSPRODUCCIONES Well, I understand that it started on the big scale when MTV came and Cindi Louper and Madonna became female superstars but even before there where female artists that sold lots of albums like Diana Ross, Pat Benatar, Donna Summer and female fronted bands like Abba, Blondie, Fleetwood Mac.
