I appreciate the video. Seeing how Fusion 360 can run on a budget-friendly laptop is astonishing. I do a lot of 5-axis programming and this budget-friendly laptop would struggle.
Shane, I would love to dive deeper on what you do and test some things out on the "Budget Laptops" I have obviously If your doing it on a desktop you should see 10x return on performance.
Hey Phil great video. Can you guys do a video on tool library. would be nice to see how to organize and standardize tooling. Tool definition would also be great, sometimes its hard to define tools correctly especially complex form tools.
Now that fusion 360 supports Apple silicon. It is hands down a slam dunk no brainer to switch over to Mac. I have been running fusion 360 on a M2 MacBook Air and it is incredible how well it now runs. Most importantly I ran for around 2 hours and my battery was still @ 75%.
Hey Phil, question. I saw we can access the student learning free version of fusion 360 with a Chromebook. Asus has always been great to me, my question though... Can a Chromebook laptop access the pro business version of Fusion 360 🤞🙏😅 I hope the answer is yes. Looking at one of the 2-1 flood Thank you Sir! Total newb here 😂 apologies, still learning.
So the normal fusion I know of cannot run on a Chromebook however you could use a remote desktop service like shadow.tech/ however at $30 a Month your better off buying a laptop.
great video how's the the MAC compare.......
