Congrats on the journey-once again! These look so awesome, already. I contemplated getting sisterlocs for a very long time, before deciding to go with “regular”-sized locs. Great look on you!
They look cute on you , they did them really neat . I’ve actually been thinking about getting locs , I never heard of sister locs . The headband is to cute 😊
So excited to watch progress of this journey 👍🏿 I have scalp psoriasis and it’s hideous - have you tried aloe gel or juice? That’s totally cleared my scalp and the inflammation. I also used t gel to clear it but I have to say the magic has been aloe after 30 years of suffering with it. I bought I’d have to take my Locs down at one stage but thank God the aloe cleared it like never before and my scalp and Locs seem to really love it for the natural moisture it provides. I live in the UK and we have cold weather and hard water so I’m not sure that helped but aloe to the rescue!! Better than any medicine or steroid stuff I’ve ever been issued - literally with the t gel sorted it from a couple of washes. I used to have to wash my Sisterlocs every 7-10 days or I’d get scabs and it would bleed, never mind the flakes. Now I can go for 21 days with no issues or flakes - not that it’s a regular or planned thing, but that’s such an improvement for me. Best wishes - hope you get it sorted.
Thank so much for the tips! The only thing that really works for me is washing at least once a week. I seem to do better with Michigan’s cold for some reason. My scalp is bit not feeling summer lol
This is sooooo cute! I wanted sisterlocks so bad but I just couldn't afford it. I also knew I would be taking care of my own hair and that would just be impossible. One day though, I will get sisterlocks!
I am so glad i ran across your video i love your hair i am also ready to start sisterlocks i been looking for someone in the Detroit area my hair is short almost 2 inches i cant wait to see if she can do my hair thanks for sharing this video
whoohoo! yay new loc journey! they look great already. I love how sister locs look but have stuck with traditional locs because of the commitment to keep up with so many locs. All the best on your new journey!
Oh my goodness you are my hair twin! My edges are thin, too and I wear wigs currenyly and start my Sisterlocks journey this month, I'm in Michigan, did Lori Grice do yours? If so I love her! She's full though and I'm still trying to convince her to do mine lol Your locks look gorgeous thanks for sharing your journey!
Nice, however I was surprised at how much time it took to install. My Sisterlocks were established on March 4, 2019 on 8-10 inches and it took about 14 hours to install. I am also documenting my journey on UA-cam. #newsubbie
Hm that is interesting. It took me about 15 hours to get mine. My clients have ranged between 18-40 hours. But it all depends on what your hair characteristics are. Thanks for watching!!
My hair is 2inchs but I want full head of hair about 500 locs but I feel that if I grew my hair longer I could achieve that but it I loved it now I would have less locs. I don't know if that is true or why I believe that
Please share the name and number of the loctician you can DM me please. I can find anyone close who can do microlocs on 3-4 inch hair so im thinking of sisterlocs as an alternative.
I wish I did. I think the biggest key is really keeping them moisturized and using low stress/manipulation. Also tho, realizing that sometimes you got what you got. Don’t stress about things that may not be able to change.
@@ElleDotMo I hope the best for your journey. I have thin temples, I'm just going to have to make due with what I have, although frustrating at times, Be blessed 😊
I think one of my last dr told me I had dermatitis but I have yet to get it checked what kinds of things do you stuffer with if you don’t mind me asking my email is
I considered sister locs when I started to go natural. Your hair is really cute and love how you styled it with the bow. It’s fun and playful.
I love my locks!! Best hair decision ever. Even the second go around. Let me know if you have any questions! And thanks!

this style looks good on you! good luck on your journey.
Thank you!
Love your hair...it looks very nice and they are done so neatly. Try putting an essential oil in your water and see if that helps with the dermatitis.
Thank you!

Aloe Vera juice straight from the plant works very well, just make sure you Strain it.
I started on that length too about 12 years ago
Love the new establishment. 😉👍🏽💖
Thank you!!!
Your hair is beautiful. I had to get a steroid scalp solution to help with my itching and flaky scalp.
Thank you!! That might be what I have !
Hi where did you get your flower band from?! So cute 😍
They are beautiful. Am in Michigan too
Thank you!!
Sooo cute!
They look great!
Thank you!
I needed to see this! Thank you!!!
Be careful with wigs. The wigs with the bands caused my locs in the back to rub out😳😭😔‼️
Can we get an update on your locs now?
Finally posted an update!
My hair is 2inchs but I want full head of hair about 500 locs but I feel that if I grew my hair longer I could achieve that but it I loved it now I would have less locs. I don't know if that is true or why I believe that

Yes this is my second set! Congratulations on your journey!
Very pretty. I love your earrings as well.💟💟
Thanks sis!! I got them from my consultant! She sells them and other similar pieces if you’re interested 😁
Please share the name and number of the loctician you can DM me please. I can find anyone close who can do microlocs on 3-4 inch hair so im thinking of sisterlocs as an alternative.
Do you have any suggestions on growing out your edges?
I wish I did. I think the biggest key is really keeping them moisturized and using low stress/manipulation. Also tho, realizing that sometimes you got what you got. Don’t stress about things that may not be able to change.
What made you get another set??? Your locs are pretty😊
Thank you!! I had to cut mine due to post partum hair loss. I never wanted to give them up!
@@ElleDotMo I hope the best for your journey. I have thin temples, I'm just going to have to make due with what I have, although frustrating at times, Be blessed 😊
I'm set to get them August 1st. Should I blow my hair out?
Nope! You can detangle, but for best results do not blow out your hair, especially not with heat
I think one of my last dr told me I had dermatitis but I have yet to get it checked what kinds of things do you stuffer with if you don’t mind me asking my email is
My hair is about your length, is it a difference on price with the length?
Yes!
Cute!
Thanks girl!
Greetings from Michigan hey neighbor
Heyyy!! 👋🏾
Your locks are beautiful. I love the style especially the longer styles. but removing them seems like it would take weeks. LOL
I actually just cut mine off! Most people start off short and then they get longer and more uniform as they mature. Thank you!
I want to lock my hair but I dont think it will stay. My hair is so fine
Set up a consultation! Plenty of people have Sisterlocks®️ with fine hair!
🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
There neat
Thank you!
