My last day of #BowFlex102, finishing off the 6th week of Eric's Beginners Program (for the second time). Eric, thanks again for making these video workouts and for the variety of programs you make for the various BowFlex machines. Your Beginners Program was just what I needed to dust off my BowFlex and get back into a regular routine of strength training. Going through this program twice has given me the confidence to continue the journey forward. And perfect timing: I am very excited to start your brand new Foundations program next week! I would recommend to anyone using these videos to become a supporter of Eric's work. The workout programs and logging have been super helpful to keep me motivated and on track. And as promised, he keeps delivering more programs (like the brand new Foundations program). And no, I receive no kickbacks for this endorsements (though I'd be open to the idea, Eric 🤣)
#bowflex first off thanks for the link to ankle straps and traveling resistance kit so I can keep up when away. The ankle straps make a huge difference in moving from exercise to exercise and allows me to concentrate on form instead of the strap coming off my foot. I highly recommend! I was able to increase weight from 80 at the beginning to 100 for the leg extensions. I could have increased the weight to 100 for the high knees and addiction- next time. Thanks and for those who haven’t joined a membership, you should.

#thankseric. Great workout! Every now and then, you ask what we would like to see in your videos… my request would be single leg extensions. I have one leg significantly stronger than the other due to past injuries and doing single leg exercises forces the leg to do it’s share of the work instead of allowing the good leg to do all the work. Just an idea…
Another great workout! Really enjoyed this one! I have bad knees, so I substituted the squat’s and lunges for squats and calf raises on my total gym. I bought the elastic bands last week, using your link, so I was able to use the 50 lb band. I set it to max incline and used the ankle cuffs to attach the band to the sled weight bar for more resistance. Worked perfectly! I’m retired Navy and I’m trying to get in better shape lately. Your videos are really helping me with my efforts. I was so very close to selling my Bowflex on eBay before I found your channel a few weeks ago. Now I use it almost every day. Thank you!!!

This is my third time with this workout. It hasn't gotten easier, but my form is improving. Just need to figure out how to keep my machine from sliding across the floor during high knees and hip adduction! #BeStrong!

@@BowflexWorkouts Thanks! I have a mat, but it sits on a throw rug that lets me slide the machine into a corner of my bedroom when I'm not using it. I'll figure out how to anchor it eventually! 🙂
Im so excited to find your workouts! I got a bowflex a year ago but haven't used it much because i didn't know what to do. Do you have a video about how to set up the cables and pulleys? What is the cable (bungee?) at the center support?
Thanks, Dianna! Nothing on setting up the cables, I'm not very good at that type of thing and y'all don't need to see me fumble around with them. You're better off looking at the manual. The band in the middle, well that's an inexpensive way to upgrade the resistance. I use the bowflex xtreme 2 se. My whole machine lifts up when i do the lean back glute squats. I can step closer and keep my feet on the edge of the platform to keep it down, but then I'm really not getting any work in my legs.
I wouldn’t change a thing. Worked up a lot of sweat. I needed a good set of hip exercises and this workout fit the bill. Thanks for posting these great videos! 😅
I have been looking at getting a Bowflex and found a X2 (the older model) on Facebook, and its in good condition. Do you think that model is alright, or do you recommend any other ones for beginners?

Same resistance as the X series machines. I also have a review on the PR1000 on the channel too. Look around at my content backlog and let me know if you have other questions.

I get that. You either need to keep it at 80lbs or put something heavy on the back end of it. I'm not sure, but a mat might help out too.
