I just discovered these series and I absolutely love it!!! My husband and I actually set aside our Friday, cook dinner and binge watch half a season a Friday 😂 how come I never watched it before?!😱 Greetings from California 🇺🇸❤
these two. wow. sobbed like a baby when daisy announced she was putting in her notice and it clearly breaks ms. p's heart. i dont care that im over a decade late with this show, as it feels right on time for me. it's changed how i see my world. how i see myself. and how i want others to see me. i truly cannot be bothered to watch anything else till i get this out of my system?! and i've already watched the series twice, back to back. think i may go for a third because...well, eff it. hang on to what brings you joy. let go of what doesnt.
Lesley Nicol and Sophie McShera are bloody amazing! Love Always to You both, Mrs Patmore and Daisy Mason! Wonderful characters and just amazing storyline! :)
They're so cute together. I thought all the cast was very good but Daisy was always one of my favorites and I really enjoyed watching her character blossom!
For me it's good to know all the things Sophie said that Daisy had to do cos my great granny had that exact job when she was like fourteen These two are my favourite characters :)
Ces actrices sont étonnantes. J'adore la relation entre les deux, comme une maman et sa fille. Like a mother and daughter, these two. Great show, love it.
*Sophie McShera* representing *Bradford.* Like most *Bradfordian* actors, directors, producers, screenwriters, TV presenters, TV judges etc working in film and TV today, most people don't even realise they're from *Bradford.* There's *Bradfordians* in practically every big film franchise or TV series in the world.
All they describe sounds like working in a restaurant today. The head chef is very much the boss of the kitchen; the skullery maid is like a dish washer and they always end up doing all the worst clean up jobs. The servers in a restaurant always eat separately from the kitchen staff-- which usually end up eating as they work (from set off food, of course) -- because they never stop working until they clean up and go home. In many ways, nothing has changed. I've known chefs to come in to prepare at 8:00 am and not stop until the kitchen closes at 10:00 pm or later. Hard work.
It’s not surprising that young women and men fled “service” as soon as industrialization and the modern economy provided easier, safer, better-paying, lower-hour alternatives.
I think you should have told the snob who was looking at you in disgust that you were actually filming for a period drama, Sophie! That'd have stopped her looking down on you! Hope she's watching this now!
Does anyone else just adore the way "daisy " looks at my patmore with admiration and keeps saying "yeah" 😍 too adorable ! These two are gems
I love how some of the time they were taking about working in the house as if it was real life. So sweet!

I always imagined Daisy living with Mrs P later in life, after they left the house as a mother and daughter.
I think Mrs. Patmore will marry Daisy's father in law, so I suppose this does happen :)
Homebirth Homeschool Homestead Possible storyline for the next movie ( if they make another)? 😀😀😀
I always imagined Mr. Mosley and Mrs Baxter got married and sort of adobted Daisy! And the three would move in with mr Mason!
I think the same, ms patmore and Mr Mason adopting daisy😊
I love Mrs Patmore, the chemistry between these two characters is so heart warming.
"I didn't die. I'm fine." Adorable. I think she's everyone's favorite. The voice is so lyrical, like music. Even when she's angry, so joyful!
love Daisy! she's as cute as a puppy!

Sophie is quite the cutie! I love how innocent she is and how she tries her best to please Ms. P throughout season 1
For me it's good to know all the things Sophie said that Daisy had to do cos my great granny had that exact job when she was like fourteen
These two are my favourite characters :)
Just watched first episode. Loved it when the butler says, "not you daisy..."
Two of the cutest characters of the whole series!!
I loooooooove Daisy so much!! She's a sweetheart!!!
Don't they make a cute couple, what a wonderful interview!
love the dialect of Mrs. P - one of my favourites
Both amazing characters!!
Daisy is the best !!!!
she's my favorite too
Ces actrices sont étonnantes. J'adore la relation entre les deux, comme une maman et sa fille. Like a mother and daughter, these two. Great show, love it.
I love how it's evolved so that Mrs P and Mrs Higher have become very close,
“Oh, dear! Have you swallowed a dictionary?!”

Downton Abbey .....Watched again , during my covid isolation....... april 2022
Mrs Patmore is the cutest looking character in Downton
THAT'S who she reminds me of!! I just started watching it and it's been driving me crazy!!!!
Totally agree! But I think you mean Merryweather from "Black Beauty." ❤️🐴
This is my favorite interview :)
This is so great!
I can't believe how young looking and glamorous Mrs Pattmore is in real life. X
They are both so authentic in character, and charming in real life. Great interview!

"William & Daisy's Love Song" on UA-cam. A tribute to two wonderful DA characters.
These two ladies were the best in the show
They're both adorable!!

They speak as if they actually worked in Downton !😂. Too cute!!!

I love seeing the interviews before they knew the success.

hi Lesley, hi Sophie, beauty work, great work..!! xoxo...
Jeniffer moreira I
I know, I would love her to read books to me!!
Btw, why are the questions not here in this video?
I love Mrs. P!! #daisy
You know, I think the dowager countess's character is alright, but give me Mrs. Patmore *every time* for satisfying witty jabs! 😄
Awwwww bookends

10:51 LOL
Should have had the questions on the screen.
Daisy is 31 now.. wth
Hahaha they spray the food but they still munch on it.
Don't like Daisy even a little. Like many Brits I find her mean for no reason and generally unpleasant.
I love these two.
