Mt Hood Hogsback, Pearly Gates, Catwalk, Old Chute

This is Mt Hood from Timberline up the Hogsback, through the Pearly Gates, across the Catwalk and down the Old Chute. The Pearly Gates were icy enough that we did not feel comfortable downclimbing them unroped and so we went down Old Chute. There were many parties on Hood that day , 15 May 2021, and we did not see anyone go down the Pearly Gates.

So badass. What I don't understand is how climbers Summit with their immensely heavy brass balls or ovaries. Very steep must take immense fortitude thank you for sharing the video.
