I have 4 of this model (and a large 360 sprayer which is not problematic) but they leak water between the riser and the main body screw down cap) as thought the seals are defective. All four are brand new so I suspect it is not the seals that are damaged but perhaps I have not enough water pressure. Anyone have any thoughts before I invest in a pump or starting digging up to configure more zones into the lawn area? I have the grey nozzles set at 90º opening with max spray output.

Not having enough water pressure is not the issue. Not having enough gallons per minute flow rate could be. Each head should come with a selection of 12 different nozzles, each using a different amount of gallons per minute. I'd suggest making sure you have used small enough nozzle sizes to bottle up the flow and pressure to make sure the heads pop up all the way to allow the seals to function properly. You could also try tightening the collar to make sure that's not the issue as they are sometimes loose from the factory. Also make sure the water leakage is coming from the collar and not the elbow connection underneath. If none of that works, take them back.

Thankyou Matthew. That was a good explanation. I live in both France and UK and bought these risers in France where they only provide one nozzle with each riser and in my ignorance, I chose the grey nozzles giving me the max water flow. Bad choice it seems. The uk dealership does not apparently sell the psu models and could not help with my problem (saying i was wasting his time in the process !) but various nozzles sizes can be bought online. To test my system I closed down three with the result thar the centre rotator an the remaining nozzles worked fine. I’ll get some lower capacity nozzles and I’m guessing that will fix the problem. Again, thanks for your help. Its really appreciared.
