IIRC, running back is only about one second faster on Easy. I doubt it's faster because Godspeed costs 20% MP on Nightmare. I haven't tested it but even if it's faster, I would teleport back. Considering the possibilities of messing up the red barrier clip or taking damage, teleporting is more stable and safer. Hmm I think that's the best strategy for Hugo 2. Preventing him from using shield is the most important thing on that fight, but he uses shield when he takes more than 6 (maybe 7, I forgot) hits at once, so you have to fight like that.
It's oddly comforting to see you use all the same farming rooms I did on my regular nightmare run lmao
Tearing through the game while being so vulnerable is downright impressive. I'm glad someone has the guts to run Nightmare.
Amazing job. I always personally found normal or easy speed runs kind of redundant so its nice to see this
How's normal redundant?
@@Walamonga1313 because normal difficulty is a joke in these games
How were you taking 0 damage on the fight with the bishop while face tanking his attacks?
14:53 can you remind me why you teleport instead of going back by foot?
Is that really the best Hugo 2 strategy?
