Thank you for sharing your method for excellent pickle canning. I'll never wait til I have a canner full of one veg again! I'm hoping to pickle green beans this year. Dilly Beans are favorites at my house. Thanks again!
My cukes and squash are just setting blossoms here in N Idaho. I cannot wait for harvest time, unless the 2 weeks forecast of 90-100 degree weather wipes them out.
I've planted onion sets in the past and my harvest looked like yours. This year I found onion starts at Walmart and gave them a try. The onions put out several "leaves" each and the bulbs appear to be quite a bit larger. I'm very hopeful for a good crop.
I hope you get a good crop as well. Let me know how they come out this year, I would be curious if the Walmart sets are any better than the Home Depot sets! Lol 😆
@@GagneFarms These aren't sets, they were a bunch of what appeared to be dried up bunching onions about 4 inches long. I will definitely let you know how they turn out.
@Crystal_Blue_Persuasion oh ok they were starts. I tried those in a bed in the back of the garden about 3 years ago but no luck. Yes! Definitely let me know if these worked better for you. I might give them another shot!😆
My poor cucumber squash & pumpkins was over taken by squash boring beetles 🪲😡so new starts are sprouting atm got a few from each plant but the only surviving patty pan are rotting blossoms so I started new ones too wish my garden looked as good but two wks at 90+ watering twice daily reeked havoc. Corn peppers are still good thank God 🙏
Yeah that heatwave knocked a lot of stuff down a notch. I am glad you got to re-plant at least. You should be good for a fall crop! Just got to keep planting! 🪴

No problem 👍 we usually do dilly beans around here too! We love them! 😍

That's awesome, I'm sure they will be fine. To be fair, I started my garden pretty early this year. 😁
