Hi Daniel, this is a great fly pattern. For once I have a little tip for you, get a small spray bottle filled with water to mist the dubbing a bit while mixing. You'll be surprised how much less the marabou, ice dub etc gets airborn. Since I couldn't find any at the time I needed one I raided my ladies makeup cabinet cause ... those nailpoish cleaner bottles have just the right size and vaporize any liquide very fine. On a side note - any live tying streams coming??? Regards Smarty
Yep, that's one ugly fly. Don't know that it resembles anything here in Michigan but fish will eat just about anything that looks like food. Keep the good stuff coming.
