I just tried this recipe and followed it as demonstrated-it’s the best sag paneer I made. I added more tomatoes cause I like it a little sour. Soaking the paneer in water makes it moist-learning from past mistakes! Awesome job Auntie!
Watching you cook is like having a friend in the kitchen guiding me through each step. It makes the whole cooking experience much more enjoyable and stress-free.
Espectacular! I’m from Colombia, I made it from mi Indian bf and he loved it!! One of my favorite Indian recipes and, with paneer😍 thank you for sharing 🤜🏼🤛🏼
So many spices and so time consuming, but the results are... oh, so worth it! Indian food, BAR NONE, is my favorite kind of food. I'm just starting out my foray into Indian cooking, and your channel is a great help. Thank you!
I've now made your recipe, and it is absolutely devine. In fact, I've made it twice because it tastes so, so, so nice. I absolutely love it. Thank you 😊💝
Really superb especially with music. I liked your style, cooking with music rather than loud talk with unwanted tips. To be honest I never seen this method. I tried firstly n I have written the comments. I have shared to my sister in India. Delicious taste.
I made this earlier in the week and it was wonderful! Exactly the way I prefer it - I'm sure l will make it again many times. I skipped the tadka and it was still delicious. Thanks for the recipe!
Great video quite relaxing and stylishly produced! Is the spinach cooked through like in a saag dish by boiling, blanching and blending? Also to make this vegan can tofu be used? Any chance of making up dated videos on gluten free roti, samosas etc Thank you so much for making such authentic dishes
Yes, the spinach is boiled for 2-3 minutes, then dropped in ice water before pulse blending. Tofu can be used but the texture and flavor is quite different. Also coconut oil can be substituted for ghee and coconut cream can be used in place of heavy cream to make it vegan. We'll definitely look into updating our gluten free collection. Thank you!
Listening to this music, I was reminded of Ravi Shankar. Specifically the music he did for Satyajit Ray's famous Apu Trilogy (Pather Panchali, Aparajito, and Apur Sansar). Watching this video was great for me because I got to watch you make some delicious food as well as think about Shankar's amazing music and Ray's amazing films. Thank you.
Cumin, Coriander, Garlic, Ginger, Mace, Kasoori methi, turmeric, Cloves, Cinnamon, Bay leaf, Garam masala powder, Cumin powder, Coriander powder. 11 SPICES and 3 POWDERS . This dish required 3 separate cooking and finally blending it together. An hour or more cooking time. Indian cooking is so TIME consuming and TEDIOUS. Definitely a well produced step by step video. As an alternate, ready made powders by NATIONAL , BADSHAH, KITCHEN KING , MTR will cut down the cooking time, Though the taste may not be as good as the product cooked as as shown on video.
Agreed...Indian cuisine is a bit more complicated than others but well worth it. Most of the spices used in this recipe are staples and common in an Indian/South Asian household. Buying spices individually gives you more control over your recipes and prevents all of your dishes from tasting the same. However, ease of use, the prepackaged spice blends do work.
Any spice you miss to add .. please put that also.. don’t call it palak paneer.. call it experiment. Wasted a simple curry by stuffing unnecessary ingredients. Why out paneer in water to remove excess oil if you are putting so much oil already and cream on top and last some more ghee etc. Unnecessary boiling and removing all nutrients of palak. And put in ice water OMG.. kahan Se aate hain ye log. There is no difference left in chole gravy and this gravy.. except for palak
That was very unnecessary criticism. You don’t like it, don’t make it. And just to keep your facts clear, blanching of spinach is a very important step in palak paneer. I’ve watched several chefs making palak paneer and they all follow this step. This is to keep the nice green colour of spinach and to soften it to reduce the cooking time.
mouthwatering palak paneer recipe😋
I am 100% making this!! It looks so delicious I can practically taste it through the screen 😲😲😍😍😍😍

ShowMeTheCurry.com I really like this format better. Just a suggestion 😀
OMG! It looked so Good! I will make it this Sunday.
I miss hearing you talk about the dish. :-(
Kaun se dhaba mei aise milti hai
I missed seeing your smiling faces. Thank you for the delicious recipe.
Why put the cooked spinach In ice water, what is the gain, can it be skipped with no loss In taste? Otherwise this look yummie!!!
It’s to keep the nice green colour rather than it fading to a grey green
✝️🕊️💯❤️🙏🏾
Massi hath tez chla
Your hands are beautiful and delicate
Putting so much oil as tadka is not good.
who is cooking those aren't your hands?
Dhaba ppl do so much work???
Please go back to speaking on your videos. This format is not as nice as previous videos where you both speak.
Thanks for the feedback. We're just trying different things out.
Music is so annoying 🙄
