For the second story, Sleep paralysis is commonly caused by stress or anxiety, like having a personal falling out with your parents, and many people hallucinate the shadow figures described (of course the look of them can vary) as well as a feeling of fear. You will often even feel “fully conscious” like described, despite being fully asleep (yet fully lucid). Also, your mind can replicate rooms you are familiar with very well. Perhaps even the author had a sleep walking living nightmare or “night terror”. If so there must have been a moment where the author snapped out of this hallucinogenic state (if the story is even real) and waited in their room scared of something that was never there to begin with.

Obviously you have never experienced anything unnatural in your life, because it could be midday and you see these shadow creatures. It doesn't matter when, where, or how, I can see the shadow people that have white eyes. So either I hallucinate daily, or something weird is going on.
Everytime I studied for maths, I'd listen to one of these and I found out last week that I got an A* in A level maths. Thanks for motivating me to carry on with your captivating voice!

Once I had a medium sized tile like picture. It was completely black and had a picture of the moon and a few stars. It was in my up stairs bathroom and I slept up stairs so when I had to go to the bath room I would sometimes use it. But whenever I used it with the picture in to it gave me a feeling like something was watching me. It gave anyone that used it a feeling of unease. And at least for me it's center was the picture. As it was right across from the toilet. Me and my mom decided to test if it was the bathroom or the picture that was giveing us the creeps. There were two bedrooms and a bathroom up stairs. At any point in time only one bedroom was in use as my parents slept down stairs. But when I used the bathroom that night I felt relived that the picture was gone. But when I went to bed that night I felt once again like I was being watched. So I decided to open one of my eyes. The one more cover and would have been harder to see. What I saw made my heart race so fast I could almost feel my bed moving. I saw a person that wasn't either of my parents as I would have heard them come in, just standing in the opposite corner. He was completely black and darker than the shadows he was standing in. I was 13 at the time. Now it has only been about a year and we have moved houses for an unrelated reason. But sometimes I see a man open my door slightly and peer in. It should also be stated that I live alone with my mom in the same town. And there are no facial features on him as he is completely black and only appears in the shadows. I also no longer own the picture. I made a name for him based on the picture but if a better name comes up I will take it. I call him the shadow man as the picture which is made from some sort of tile is completely black.

Here in Ireland up until the 90's a taxi sign was worth so much that i could literally buy a home with this as collateral but then the government allowed "Cab's" on the road. They work from a depot, dont use a sign & cant pick up a fare on the street. They were so cheap to get from A to B that our signs are now only worth about 10k..Impossible to earn a living_*
My cat Katie Lady who died from cancer in 2013 follows us when we move. I can feel her jump on the bed sometimes. This past Father's day my oldest of my 3 remaining boy cats named Micah passed away. He jumps on the bed too. I know the difference between the two because Micah was a very big boy. So I believe if you had a close bond with your pets they will stay with you where ever you go.
My dog was poisoned a few months ago when they stole my brother's motorbike. The symptoms of the poisoning sound very similar to what your dog (Gracie) was experiencing. I'm sorry about your dog, I can sympathize.

Many don’t receive it but it still has a big audience because it’s incredibly relaxing and I personally find it almost necessary to listen to before sleep
