Interesting product and a neat idea. A friend of mine sent me something similar the other day, it's a good concept. The flaw I think in this one is the power cable. I'd rather have a kettle lead. I always have a spare kettle lead (IEC? If you wanna be posh!) but I wouldn't carry a spare adapter for this. When you break the tiny flimsy cable (which you will if you gig a lot!) you won't have the option to just grab a spare lead from the bag. According to the reviews on Amazon, the cable isn't even a standard 9v adapter, so you'd have to buy a spare for when it breaks. Otherwise a good product. Good video as always mate. Your text and graphics are always very nicely done.

Thanks man! Appreciate the comment, yeah ‘kettle’ leads are always better in my opinion, I guess there’s a cost saving built in to the board, cheers man!

@@DerekPaulGuitar Yeh I agree, unless you make something like the One Spot by Truetone that I've just purchased, where it can run on international voltages just fine, it's cheaper to do the wall wart situation. That way you just issue it with its corresponding transformer depending on region, but the internal gubbins would always be the same. Still a cool idea though and the whole spares situation really only affects you if you're a live guitarist. Most people aren't, or I should say are just occasionally playing live with far less wear on their gear. I actually just got a used Pedaltrain nano plus, to accommodate the one spot. It's a very diminutive setup, although pricey for what it is I guess. Your idea of the built in tuner would be very nice, especially on a small board like that, it'd be a great space saver.

The nano is a good board too, especially with that power supply, and I’m not really playing live at the moment, just the occasional family thing :)

Excellent review, as always. Does the lightbar have the capability to show if the signal is clipping? Was wondering since it goes from green to yellow to red like the clipping signal on my daw does

It sort of does yes, you can adjust the light bar via a control knob, so if you hear your signal clip you can adjust the light bar to match, although it won’t necessarily register a clipped signal if that makes sense, cheers!

You are right they have thought of almost everything and have cleverly avoided a lot of the things that are annoying about most pedal boards. For 100 ducats, it’s pretty nice. I agree that the led bar should have a tuner mode. My guess is they are already working on it. Cheers!

Now I am not sure if it is a good product or they paid you enough money.
