WECO Resort Hotel

WECO Resort Hotel is located in Shangrao, Jiangxi Province, China, and is the main tourist reception project of WECO Modern Agricultural Park in future. Part of the original hillside woodland has been preserved and integrated into the hotel landscape. Meanwhile, the guestrooms of the complex either extend horizontally along the contour of the mountain, or cascade down to conform to the terrain, so that each guestroom has a good view of the natural hills. In some specific public areas, the design intentionally avoids the relationship with the distant view, creating a space atmosphere with introverted characteristics. This transformation and collision between the artificial and the natural also bring a rich hotel space experience. The façade of the building is free of unnecessary expression, with simple, continuous guest room balconies as the main element, and burnt black cedar board and gray pebbledash as the main materials, making the building blend into the mountains and forests, in a restrained and simple way.
