Remove print head for Canon ip7250 & ix6850 printers

How to remove the print head for cleaning on a Canon ip7250 / 7200 series / ix6850 Pixma series printers.
NOTE ADDED SEP 2019 - Due to the trusty ip7250 being sadly :( discontinued by Canon, we (edibleprintsupplies.co.uk) have now sourced and sell the replacement print heads for both the ip7250 and ix6850 printers. Please note the printers require DIFFERENT print heads - please see these under our printers section of the shop - thanks Matt EPS :
