baron pair up riot shields and machine gunners put the gunners behind the riots it is really good because the machine gunners do so much damage but go down fast. But the riots stun the enemy so the gunners get a chance to kill them they are also really strong try this pair please thank you(:

riot does do some damage.. but not alot but that is not there purpose they are there to absorb hits so your high damage units dont die right away.
Veterans you get from them doing certain amount of HITS on target and staying alive. Even more units don't care what exactly u hit it can be building wall unit it doesnt matter. So perk wise its better to use fast track , fast reload, and fire rate. Use riots to cover units u want to get as Veterans, try to get trough all map with less units u can so if there is 300 hits to make on map 15 units get average 20 hits each while if u spawn all 30 u get only 10 hits each. So if u chose weak opponent as skills u take all smoke gasses so your units gets hit as rare as possible, medic can help to!
also, playing smart with rally flags, I find bringing my men back as often as I can to group up and re-engage together allows them to survive better and.. well.. I have to disregard about 10 vets every battle, I also send out all my vets every battle.

It also helps greatly when you fight higher tier enemies, I rarely get veterans against 1 skulls but a lot if the enemy has 3+... on the other hand you also have to win in order to keep them alive. ;)

Baron, to earn veterans you need to keep your soldiers alive. In order to do so, you need medics or surgeons. However, it's really hard to earn veterans when attacking well-designed bases, you should attack bases with base power1000
Baron the way tents work is they have a timer of how often a unit comes out the maximum amount you can have alive at one time is 3 units (per tent) apart from if you have cover you get a free 4th squad at the start. Also, you can scout with a unit of grunts at the start to set off barrels waste time til you get better drops ect. best way to get veterans is probably for you to rent riots with a few medics and your units you want to make veteran, also the perk fast track will decrease the damage a unit has to do to become a veteran. you need the fast track perk. then your troops have more chance to be a veteran
The best way to get vetrans is to hire the swat then go to an easy battle place out the swat and then place the troops you want to turn into vetrans
one last thing baron, the meta in the game is to send out first a wave of grunts as cannon fodder alone, leaving like 20-30 seconds before you send a real squad, this lets you see further into the base to scout, and tests the waters of the initial enemy defences, and also gets rid of most of the enemies barrels if they have them.
barons, i recommend getting 2veterans medics, then, go to battle, take missiles, get the units you want to be veterans, spawn only medics and the unit you want until the end, don't forget to put medics veterans out.
use the missiles on sniper tower so they don't kill your troops.

To get veterans. 1. Fight two skull bases, one skull give only half exp for veterancy. 2. Spawn mainly only Riots, Medics, and the Troop you want to make Veteran. 4. Sniper towers are your biggest problem, so bring Tear gas and save it for the towers. 5. Use rally flags to buy time to summon the troops you want to make veteran. 6. To vet expensive troops you will likely need a munitions card to afford what you need. 7. Do not over spawn offencive troops you want the damge done to be nealy entirely by the men oyu want to vet up if the damage is spread out too thin no one vets. 8. You can vet on one skull bases but you need to go very thin on offencive trooops or the exp will be spread to thin.
Oh and one more thing it really is only worth vetting Single powerful troops such as the MG, Sniper, and Rocketeer. A single MG veteran will do more for your base than 10 grunt vets will.

Baron, you need to see what type of squads the enemy uses before attacking. Then change your load out to suit the base you are attacking. Also, a better way to get veterans is to use riots in front and then deploy what you want to get veterancy behind it. Troops only become veterans if they stay alive at the end of the battle. You should also recycle cards that you don't need to get ones that you want or need.

Dont put the sandbag infront of the machine gun nest or what is it called because they wont take cover because mg nest shoots your troops
You have to use your veterans in battle so they turn into silver or even gold veterans and so they get better bonuses like HP and Damage bonuses

fire rate sucks on snipers, fire rate is good for untis that already shoot fast. for sniper you need fast reload
To unlock more veterans add health perks to your troops,and attack low level bases.

hey baron you have 15 keys. you can get an HQ crate. they are pretty good.
Baron I have a tip for you. You really have a lot of good perks, so use them correct. So don’t use a perk that makes the grunts cheaper, because they are already so cheap and use it on your sniper for example. Then you should use like your health perk or something for your grunts so they live longer. And you have that poison bullets perk on your grunts, but assault units for example shoot way more bullets and so there is way more chance for poison bullets
also put the inventry behind the walls but facing the middle where they can all hit also upgrade the walls
Baron when u level up you should put a sniper helping the mortar

Baron you should make a maze with the walls so the enemy have to go inside the maze towards your base

Units only acquire veteran status in attack and it depends on how much damage do they do in the battle. One of the best ways I found it that you use riots to tank the damage while your units do the hard work killing the enemy units and buildings ;) :D Also, you get get veteran status even on rented units, but remember that the better the unit is, the more damage is has to do in the battle.
Also, to rank up your veterans, you have to risk their life in the attack (if they die in the attack, they die forever, unlike on defense where they can survive 3/5/10 defeats depending on their rank)
Im not watching the series anymore because Baron speeded up his progress and that is not fun.

Hey baron FYI about the colonel you only get him from one of those elite card pack things you buy and what the colonel does is he called in focus fires on random buildings and he does a "one shot one kill" to any infantries and he takes out at lest half a health from the buildings he shoot at.
Tips: so if you get him from an elite cardpack spawn at least 2 or 3 of them then call in some grunts and assaults

How to get veterans : choose the easiest base, attack with at least 2 medic, stack the kind of solders you want them to be veterans. That is how I get 3 mercenary and a grenade launcher to veteran in 1 battle.

Hey baron, just saying, I don't play the game so the following ideas may be incorrect.
1) Don't put your walls together or one missle could take out 3
2) What if you made a all out wall, no chockpoint, with snipers behind as a first defense? And then make a chokepoint with bunkers and other things?
3) I'm pretty sure sandbags cana be used by enemies, so try to put them where they won't have cover from your bunkers and stuff

You need to unlock riot troops and then use them as cover to level up snipers for base defense. I have 9(soon to be 10) rank 3 snipers and 3 lvl 7 tents all spawning snipers. That pretty much means I have upwards of 22 snipers in my base guarding a choke point. My defend record so far is 61 defends. 55 wins, 6 loses. My base can auto the CPU defend over an hour before I have to start paying attention, not that beyond 30 minutes doing it auto matters really. Rangers are overall better than mercs also. The only thing mercs have over rangers is a higher range, everything else is comparable or worse.
Been playing for about a month and hit lvl 45 last night. The best combo I've been using is commando with ultra accuracy, fire rate, rapid deployment and endless clips hero perk. My riots have rank 4 minimum wage and health, ultra rapid deployment, and volunteer hero perk. The riots make a wonderful wall while the commandos tear troops, buildings, and walls apart with ease.
Baron if you want vets try to spawn more of them for a higher chance of that unit to become a vet.
Example:
If you want ranger vets, spawn more rangers than other units.
Also, for a unit to become a veteran it must:
Stay alive for long and let it destroy more buildings(I'd recommend walls since they also counts as buildings)
However, there are some units that have a different way of becoming a veteran
Examples:
Medic becomes a vet by healing units
Surgeon becomes a vet reviving units
Sarge becomes a vet based on the ratings the units around her are doing
Lastly, Rangers are better than mercs since I'd rather have 3 units with 265 health rather than 2 with 300, extra range doesn't mean anything Rangers have more damage.
Baron you need a choke point in youre Base with Sniper Towers Bunkers and Barbed while and some God Solilders like Rangers or Marcencys

Hey Baron, you seem to have trouble getting your troops into battle quicker while they spawn. Use the rally flag, it increases their movement speed. But be wise on how you use it because once you place it down, your troops will run and ignore enemy soldiers until they reach the flag (I learned from experience...). So if your troops are to far back, use the rally flag to make them run faster.
Baron, a nice and easy way to get/level up veterans is by fighting a weak base multiple times. For example if you want to get a mercenary veteran, an easy way to do is go to a 1 skull base, and use all mercenary. I've tried this m self and in 1 day I got a total of 6 veterans in 3 battles. Also use veterans in attacking weak bases so that they can level up to silver and eventually gold. but play at your own risk they can also die that's why i use surgeons . I only have 3 gold veterans, 2 Machine Gunners and 1 surgeon. glad i could help! :)
To get veterans fast you have to use more rally flag as a tool. On this last one for example you could have easily pulled back your entire force waiting for the respawn and get juicy xp out of grunt. Other ways are to mastering combo squad with riot as a garden keeper. Against weak opponent you could achieve a lot with less unit, machine gunner/commando and sniper/sharpshooter are the best compromise to achieve solid base defense and offensive capabilitie on alliance battle. Baron first attack people with 2 and more stars. One star will give you only 50% XP for veterans. And its all about how long your troops survive in a battle. If your initial troops survive long they become veterens.

When I was new in the game i allways lost attacks because when they killed all my good troopers and i ran out of munitions i could only send in waves of grunts, ofc they all died because of the good defend. if you dont have any good units or dont have a strong squad of infantry then use a rally flag to group them up outside the range of their defense. Also i am really active on the game and really want to join your clan, but every time i check it's full! Are you thinking of a system for it?
The best way is to get rockets and snipers or riots and go attack players with 1.5k base protect points and 2 skills
And bunch them up near sandbags and near walls to bunch them up

I'm pretty sure the bombing raid plane actually drops the bombs in the preview locations. I don't play the game, but just from watching, I'm almost positive it does.
BARON use your all supplies to taken enemy down and put the flag to regroup to let your Solider alive and i need you to had 5 of medic to help the group to got lot of health :) or your Solider will...dead but can you put the wall section on the anti air craft at the base? And put the wall to seround the anti-aircraft and you put the sand bags on the anti aircraft front at least 3 of it to protect it

Stop relying on the truck to kill enemys, its ok against a small squad but quickly gets overrun. The truck has low damage, crap accuracy, and super low defense so it takes a lot of damage quick
Baron I’ve messed around a little with the swat units all you need are basically at least two and a ton of firepower protecting them. The swats can take the heat while veterans deal massive damage from behind. One battle I walked away with two bronze sniper veterans, two silver veteran grenadier veterans, and even a swat unit as a veteran as well. It can be very effective for veteran earning let’s just see how it goes for you

best way to get veterans is to just deploy which units you want to be veterans behind riot units that have health and stagger perks so that they can last for as long as possible, one skull bases earn half the experience while two skull and nightmare bases reward full veteran experience amount. you should equip the troops you want to be veterans with the veteran perk as well as damage because experience earned is directly correlated to damage dealt
Aslo puting the accuracy perk on the granade unit could be a great idea because of their amazing amount of splash damage, it would aslo save alot of units by geting accuracy on the granade unit because of their stun, stun works great on units like flame units because they need to get close to the infantry.
just to make you know... put a perk of rate of fire on a unit who got slow rate of fire is ineficient, but put reload speed on one with slow reload (bigger number = big reload time) boost hard the rate of fire (like sniper for exemple)
Baron I have a tip, for the end of the battle the men in the base will stop firing if you deploy tear gas on the base.
I finally defeated a member from the Baron Brigade. While it was a base defense I still feel accomplished. :D

Baron! if you send out a full wave of grunts first on a attack, they will most likely take out a few buildings and traps before you send out your actual troops for a more effective attack, and it costs very little! Good luck!
Put snipers in to get veteren snipers
i can't get past the guns up tutorial, whenever i was told to click war, i did, and it said 'this is your enemy', but there was no option to attack or anything, and the only way to exit was to click the gear at the bottom and quit to desktop. help please?
the only way I can think of to getting veterans, to help them survive longer. is to bring back your riot shield guyz to tank the damage. allowing troops to survive longer.
Baron.Its easy to make Veterans if you have 2 medics that are close together and the medics should have faster firing,Health and damage.then the 2 medics are gonna heal each other.Thats what i know on how to make veterans
Use tear gas to stop the bunker shots and at huge groups of man then focus fire so they die then your men advance.Use paratroopers to flank enemie positions, bunkers or if th enemie is too good do like me cal at least 3 paratroops and finish the base imidiatly.

Hey baron try to put the delta hat for the best unit you have, and the raptor one for the fastest unit you have like grunts, also try using the night vision goggles to the snipers. ;)

Plususe reload speed instead of fire rate for snipers. Fire rate is not effective with them, so if you look at your players stats and add a perk you can see the difference. So because the sniper has such a loe fire rate it will effect it less than that of the reload speed which technically makes them shoot faster
Try a challenge all hero's please
baron make a surgeon, 2 grenadiers, an engineer and a medic using fast track cuz it might help your units survive better and the grenaiders will do crowd control.
Instead of your motor being there but your bunker and use that as s shoke point and covet it with walls and your golden.

If you want veterans, I recommend sending in a medic to keep guys alive long enough to become veterans, and increase the chances of existing veterans to survive the battle.
Hey baron if your gonna use the decoy, you should place it where the enemy troops can attack bunkers, sniper towers or even enemy troops. Also place it where enemy troops can see it.
hey baron a way to get sniper veterans, you need riots and snipers of course, duh, and you must prioritize those troops, use munitions cards and rally flags to buy u time while you purchase your troops

To get veterans, they have to do a specific amount of damage and then they have to survive the battle. Usually, I just go against a weak enemy to farm veterans
Hey baron if you want to have more veterans you need to let 1 soldier not to die and gain some many kills and not to die in battle for example a grenadier thatvkilled a bunch of troops and survived in battle
I think you should try to use all of your build points because you can get sandbags and you said you need sandbags you can get one more and when you get extra build points you can most likely get more sandbags
