So this is just my personal speculation, Maybe Airi sexually assaulted Hikaru back when she met him. And from then on he started hating female celebrities. Since like you said Aka Akasaka already showed a similar situation where a middle school kid Melt was taken advantage of by an older woman. Maybe that is why he kills popular and upcoming female celebrities. Also he must have approached Ai who might have been impressed by his acting chops and manipulated her into loving him, considering Ai was someone who was desperate for finding love and having a family. So while Ai must have genuinely loved him, he might have just seen her as another older woman who doesn't mind getting frisky with someone younger. Ai might have sensed this hostility and that might be the reason she broke off the relationship.
Even worse, it is possible that both didn't love each other. Kamiki admitted his hatred toward women and Ai admitted the truth that her love to him was a lie. The plot twist will be that Kamiki wasn't the one who killed her out of respect of Ai's decision to raise their children, but the relative of Kamiki's victim. Theory tho lol

My theory is that Airi took advantage of Hikaru when he was 11. That could have been traumatic enough to awaken the killer instinct (black stars). Especially if he was r*ped.
Most likely… the Killer instinct could’ve been due to his own childhood as well, from what Akane was able to gather from Hikaru, is that he was molested and raped by Airi which resulted in his first child being born. But matter such as this when the brain is still developing(your brain finishes developing at mid to late 20’s) and such could’ve caused some damages to his brain, and such his mental state and that was when he was at a young age as well and when he was about to reach puberty, his mind caused it to awaken the black star eyes. And as for why he kills people, mainly it actors and idols, it could be due to them portraying similar traits to Airi and that he wishes to pull the plug before they do it but why did Hikaru kill Ai, from what she implied is that it was a mutual breakup, but for why… either he just wants to kill female stars just because he put them into the same category as Airi… nah that’s a motive too naive to be the cause of Goro, Ai and other female stars deaths, but rather: to cover information about himself, Ai was a rising star and it was most likely she would be exposed for having children at a young age, and then actors who were with them would realise that he got her pregnant. As for the murder of Airi and her husband… he most likely told the husband which caused him to be kill himself and Airi. Or its possible that he saw Ai as an older woman and decided to kill her as well; which means it’s possible that his trauma caused him to become this warped but at a later date and then killed her or rather that he discovered that Ai’s love for Hikaru was a lie and that its possible that Ai was his first relationship outside Airi and that he loved her and wanted to get revenge which is why he killed her. When Ai called Hikaru, right after asking her question, she said "No, I'm not trying to get back together", which suggests that Hikaru's response to Ai's call was "Do you want to get back together with me" (or something like this) as Ai saying something like this without any prompt from the other side would be weird. It, then, implies that Hikaru wanted to be with Ai (otherwise, that wouldn't be his first reaction/first thing on his mind), which means he wasn't over the break-up yet. Which means that even if Hikaru agreed to break-up with Ai he didn't exactly want that/changed his mind.

I honestly think ruby will probably die, or at least have a close moment to it. I feel like it’ll be the sparking moment that causes them reveal their past life identity. This scenario will either further Aqua’s guilt of not being able to save anyone, or break the cycle because now he’s an adult and can save others. While ruby is like bleeding out or something, perhaps aqua pulls out his past life doctor skills and tries to save ruby. This is probably when ruby will connect the dots or hallucinate the doctor onto aqua in some kind of way.

As an Akane fan I really hope she makes it. Also the theory about the gods is really clever, given the twins pulled that stunt on the manager’s wife saying they were those two gods as children, making it god tier foreshadowing.

I know a lot of people tend to gravitate to "Hikaru is reincarnated" theory, but I'm honestly not a fan of it because it sweeps Himekawa's mother abuse of a literal child under the rug. Hikaru joined the troupe at 10, Himekawa was born when Hikaru was 11. So we can assume that Hikaru was groomed or SA'd almost straight away or a few months as a newbie. If anything, this witch is the cause of Hikaru spiraling into a serial killer specifically targeting women like her. A bit of rambling, but I noticed that Hikaru only made a move against Himekawa's mother when he was around 18~19. I would also argue that Goro's death was likely to be more of the stalker's impulse, and the double suicide was his true first murder. The crow deity never said the middle schooler was the mastermind. Only that the stalker was with him. That's a lot of missing context. Perhaps there is correlation between Hikaru not acting anymore with his current serial killing of talented actresses. Maybe something happened between the time he quit the trope and presumably went to the hospital Ai gave birth at. Hell, maybe Goro's death was a trigger. Maybe his killing pattern is a combination of the abuse under Airi and the turbulence of breaking up with Ai. I reread the manga a little and there was a part where Aqua noted that people are in acting because they usually love it. Could this be a foreshadowing about Hikaru in whatever made him unable to do acting anymore is a huge source of frustration, and seeing the women with significant impact on his life still able to continue acting drove him to murderous envy? EDIT: WAIT I GET IT. Hikaru Kamiki's love/obsession for acting is why Aqua said acting is his form of revenge. Nothing says poetic justice more than using what your enemy loves most to destroy them.
The easiest and the one most likely considering it lines up with how the manga shows the "dark side" of the industry is: Kindaichi didn't want Lala Lie to go under. A scandal like any of the two existing would be Lala Lie under media eyes in the negative way, especially considering Ai's own popularity and her death. He's the representative of the company and, as such, will be the one who'll be affected the most from media backfire. He definitely is aware, but chooses to stay shut to save his own skin

It is an interesting thing the fact that the white roses are a way to "mark" those he wants to kill. Those flowers were seen for the first time when Ai was stabbed (they were carried by the stalker), teh second time was when Hikaru brought these roses at teh cemetery back then, and then the last time we saw those flowers when Akane sees them. But there is one time that is truly worrying : The TRUE first time when we see these flowers is during the first time we saw Kana, during her interview at Chapter 6.In the first case of the first page,you can see whites roses at the right....
Hmm, you're right; they are the same flowers. That's actually pretty interesting. I thought Kana was interviewed by Kaburagi and Gotanda for a role in the film, but maybe that's not true...There's a possibility that Kamiki is behind the interview, and maybe that's how Aqua plans to involve him with the film. Or Kamiki is involved with the film in some other way since he owns a production agency. It's a great find either way.

I have a theory on how the father probably is very similar to Aqua. In the manga when Aqua decides to officially become an actor. His first gig was as a Stalker in that already failing drama. He talks about how, unlike Ai, his mother, he doesn't have that "star power" or talent. Which is ultimately what I think the white star eyes symbolize. I think the black eyes, like you said, are a sort of get to my goal by any means symbol. The reason I bring up this scene is because while he's talking about his lack of talent, he brings up how he cultivates his acting based on the environment around him. Using the puddles on the ground, his entryway and the camera angle. He's using things around him, but this can also be shown when he uses people around him. This leads into why I think the father kills young women with these eyes. It's because he can't have these eyes for himself. No matter what, he has to use things and people around him for what he wants. He can't just simply succeed with his own talent and off his own merit. I think it's a genuine hate for women who can do what he can't. But hey, that's just a theory.
8:00 I definitely think it's intentional that they had one white star! Especially with the way it's framed for Ruby, it's the direct center of the panel, the focus is directly on it. I can't imagine it as a mistake, and I don't think it's a coincidence that this half black half white combo only noticably shows up when the twins are being altruistic towards someone they care about. Ai and the twins were originally altruists themselves, Ai for her fans and the twins for Ai. When they stop becoming motivated by their love, their eyes change.
I do agree that Toshirou is suspicious! I might be wrong because I haven't re-read completely in a while, but looking back to some pages, it felt perfectly placed so he could talk little to nothing about Kamiki - but it also grants a reason to why he would keep quiet about Kamiki's existence towards Aqua, I think? The fact that he raised Himekawa, as an actor (and perhaps a little alike to what Aqua and the Director's relationship is) could influence a lot on him not telling directly anything about Kamiki. Himekawa was five, but he's pretty much aware he "disliked his father" (who probably murdered his mother) and stuck to the artistic name of Himekawa, from his mother. Kamiki, at the time of spilling the info or at least pulling some strings on the incident of Airi Himekawa's death, was probably 16, yes? Ai was already pregnant by that time and they'd already taken their distance. At that very same year, Kamiki had just retired from the company. Perhaps Toshirou knew something was weird. Because after all, Kamiki was abused a year after his entrance at the company… like some people have said, he was a newie. Whether Airi Himekawa's personality was weird like that to use her status there to take advantage of the rookies in general, or wether this was a one time situation, having Toshirou who - as a founding member - was working close to the members, could end up realizing something weird happened. He probably acted as if it was nothing, and thus cornering himself when Kamiki finally moves things around and causes the tragedy of Himekawa's parents suicide. He probably deducted it had something to do with him or at least suspected a little when Kamiki retired from acting, but kept moving on and maybe even took Himekawa under his wing, since he could've felt guilty. Now that he's attached to him, I'd assume he wouldn't want to explain him how he could've been a child born out of infidelity and abuse, whose biological parent may or may not had something to do with his parents suicide. (Like, his "father" is a murderer already, his mother is also scum… give him a break.) Turning a blind eye to Aqua's looks makes sense, way much more since their conversation was the 3 together. Also… If a remember correctly he gave a whole speech about how he "liked people who felt broken" and knew about "people who only acted imitating, as if they could feel nothing themselves". But in the end, the desire of (something-something) emotions was "the real deal". He could've had his eye set on Hikaru for the same reasons, perhaps? Idk. Edit: I re-read a little more, and Kamiki was probably older when Himekawa's parents died, since the "suicide incident" happened the same year she was having talks about performing in the dome (since Kamiki was 15 and Ai 16 when Ai was already pregnant, if Ai was 19 years old at the time, Kamiki probably was 17 for incoming reasons I'll dig deeper on this). So it was about two years after Kamiki left the company - but I'd argue saying began moving in this as soon as he retired. Himekawa was probably born when Kamiki was already 12, and Himekawa was 5 when his parents died. I'd say begging a plan at 16 - when you've left the company, it having a strike when he's 17 and soon enough after you've finally made your first tragedy happen. Anyways, I don't think waiting had much relevance to Kamiki and it's just how things turned out, since he himself went along Ai's murderer in their first visit to the hospital. Probably Goro's death drove them away? I've been searching so much my brain hurts, save me.
I may sound dumb but I'm actually glad Aqua went back on his path for revenge when a character turns dark there's always this moment where someone or something brings them back but Aqua is deadset on killing "that person" even if he goes to hell for his actions. Shows how much he loved Ai and wants the man who killed her dead. This manga really made me dive deeper and deeper in the rabbit hole because now I too want Hikaru dead.

I really love this theory just because it would be absolutely bonkers to find out that Ai really did have a lot of secrets that not even the people closest to her knew about. Was she the abused and the abuser due to her own problems within the industry? I’m also wondering if Aqua=Tsukuyomi and Ruby=Amaterasu, then who is Susanoo? I want to say it’s Kana because her full name basically means “strong horse” which could be an allusion to the horse Susanoo rides…but it’s just a theory. It would fit right in with the themes in the series about how celebrities are overworked (work horse, get it lol) etc though. Even the OP has a scene where it’s hinted at that Kana is the third deity. Ai (EDIT: Sarina too) herself seems to be an allusion to Princess Kaguya as Gorou means “the fifth son” and in the myth she’s pursued by five suitors. Very interesting stuff!

Both had a close relationship with Hikaru > Both got pregnant > Both got killed by a proxy manipulated by Hikaru > And I assume both had starry eyes. All of their children are also alive. Given that Hikaru's latest victim is an actress with starry eyes, I assumed that's what he targets. People with starry eyes, or rather women with starry eyes.
I find the name "Lalalie" kinda funny given that the manga is about lies and it's odd because it makes me think some REAL dark shit is going on in that company that we don't know about yet.

To be honest, I feel like Kindaichi is the one who raised Hikaru. The comment he made about liking actors being "a little bit broken" was really creepy, and slightly out of nowhere. There's a good chance that Kindaichi may be helping Hikaru with setting up the killings, or setting up actors for success just so Hikaru can continue killing them.
From my thinking I'd imagine how Ai and other woman fell in love and let hikaru make them pregnant 💀 .... There are not many possibilities but some left are the most Awe dropping ones

I can't help but feel that Hikaru is merely another red herring. The more I read more I feel like there is too much pulling out to having him as a suspect. But at the same time there is no real confirmation that it was Hikaru or that Hikaru was the only third party that knew about Ai. It feels way too obvious to be true. There is also the fact the main story only started around chapter 80, which makes me think ghere is still a long road to go. I don't think Aqua's current plan is going to succeed.

Thank you. I have actually talked in detail about the Crow Deity in my first theory video. You can check the time stamps of that video and jump straight to that part if you want, but long story short: If we assume Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi are both part of the story, then I think the Crow Deity serves Amaterasu and works against Tsukuyomi. Based on the legend of these deities, the crow (heavily implied to be Yatagarasu), was a guide sent by Amaterasu to aid the first emperor of Japan. In Oshi no Ko, the Crow Deity guides Ruby on the path to find Goro's body and also uncover the truth about Ai's death. So, I think the Crow Deity was there to help Ruby discover the truth about Ai's death. If the deity makes another appearance, then I assume it would be to help Ruby again.

Spoilers!!!!!! Currently in the manga, both Aqua and Ruby have black stars in both eyes and i have a theory on how they both will come to the light side again. Ruby got her black stars when she realised that the doctor is dead and is killed by the same person as Ai. So i think she will gain her white stars back after she finds out that Aqua is the doctor. Same for Aqua, he was so obsessed with Ai partly because he wanted to watch over her as he couldn't do the same for Sarina. So realising that her little sister is that same Sarina living her dream of becoming an idol is more than enough to bring him back to the light side.
I think he wanted revenge on the women that ruined his career, which then morphed into killing women with drive to be successful in the industry. Thinking from the pov of a child that's been groomed and taken advantage of, I suppose having a child through an adult woman, someone that had more power and authority over him, was rather traumatic. Then, Ai also having a child of his and going ahead with the pregnancy, could be a reminder of the lack of consent he suffered when his first child was conceived. The existence of those children might've taken away his joy for acting all together. Thus, he decided to take revenge on the women that ruined it- and he ended up liking it. Taking away the light in their eyes the same way his dreams were. I might be completely wrong and maybe he was bad from the start, but I just feel icky at the prospect of an 11 y/o being a masterplan psycopath that got his teacher pregnant for supernatural shenanigans. Although at this point, who knows... Also, would you say that Taiki could symbolize Susanoo-no-Mikoto? The way he behaves reminds me of the way that deity is often described. The interesting thing about kamiki hikaru is he hardly ever seems to actually physically hurt someone, he rather manipulates people into situations where they cause it themselves. He told the stalker of Ai's information so he would kill ai and gorou, he might've manipulated taiki's mother and her husband to do a double suicide, and that latest actress he probably didn't push her off the edge rather he led her to a dangerous part of a cliff and didn't do anything when she slipped and fell. I also believe the theory that kamiki was SA'd, because oshinoko tackles a lot of real life stuff that happens in the entertainment industry and child stars being assaulted by older stars or other people involved in the industry isn't anything new. We already saw that case with Melt who was implied to have been abused by an older women but considering taiki himekawa's age it's highly likely kamiki was either 9 or 10 years old when he first become a star, so he could've been a literal child who was raped. And irl a lot of childstars who experience those type of situations grow up and become really controversial and messed up adults some becoming abusive to their significant others, others drug abusing and others violating the law or some just become messed up in the head. Maybe that's what happened to kamiki he was abused by an older woman so that warped his mind to think the way he does There's also my theory about him and Ai. Hikaru was probably someone like Ai who did not have any understanding of love. I feel like it'll be a bit redundant to go after akane, he tried to kill akane before on the staircase (right now only speculation). And from a writing perspective that's the obvious bait. Kana is written in a way, since the beginning of the story, to be this brilliant actress but she hasn't gotten the opportunity to shine on a grand stage, keeping her away from hikaru's sight and seemingly preference. She's basically been coasting under the radar for the entire series in the entertainment industry. Sure the idol stuff has been successful but it isn't on the level as when Ai was the lead. You factor in that kana is personally connected to both aqua and ruby on a deep personally level. If their dad wants to personally get back at them, because of the movie, that's an added bonus to make them suffer. Plus aqua has, clumsy, tried to protect kana for about half the series, if you take his past trauma of him not protecting/saving Ai and something happens to kana, it's going to get ugly. And finally the color white symbolism. Kana's glow stick is white and it's considered "special" in idol culture. I believe on two occasions we seen white roses in the series. The first is with Ai's death scene and the second was at akane's event, clearly these white roses are his calling card for his next victim. The color white and white roses are symbolic of purity (among other things), in my opinion I believe the white glow stick and white roses are narratively connected. And if you look at the latest volume cover ( vol 11) it's Kana with a rose like dress with white gloves and there's a promotional art (official art) with kana holding a flower to her face, I'm not saying that means anything but man. There's something that draws their father to highly popular (with star eyes) female actress in the industry, if he sees this movie and he sees kana's multi-star eyes, which also extends out from body, that makes her radiates like the sun, which akane has directly stated, and she finally starts to garner more success and attention I believe Kana might be his next victim. Personally for me there's too much subtext and stuff shown in our face over the course of the series that I can't think of anyone other her.
About Aqua looking like Hikaru and nobody noticing... A lot of people say he looks quite similar to Ai. Maybe that's just what they see first and go with it?
I thought about this before...but I noticed that most people only say that Aqua's face resembles Ai's. While we can see that Hikaru and Aqua have almost the same appearances. People who have worked with both Hikaru and Aqua should theoretically notice that resemblance first. Idk. Seems odd xD

I feel like Hikaru Kamiki will be proven to be a true hate sink. Even more so if he also happens to be someone who reincarnated. He is evil from birth and enjoys the power of playing God by showering someone else with happiness before gleefully arranging to have that happiness taken away from them. If Ai was someone who did not know love but wanted to love in the purest sense, HK might be someone who knew love, but wanted no part of it unless it provides him a way to satisfy his sadistic tendencies.

Hmm, Ai lied every time she appeared on the page, so it's not a surprise that she has a true hidden self. But what kind of real self is the question, now that we know she also had black starry eyes - which I'm fairly certain she got after meeting Hikaru. Although I don't think she's in the same boat as him. She's definitely got a darker side - which should've come from the fact that she was an orphan, but I don't think she had that murderous intent. I would say she has done some less-than-ethical things to achieve her goals but nothing too outrageous. We'll see though xD
"Stars" establish their "presence" with their "identity" and have a certain "gravity" that attracts people towards them. But sometimes that certain "gravity" crushes them from inside out, they become a "Black Hole", a thing that doesn't have any identity but they can distort the very space time with their very presence. It consumes other stars to "feel its own weight". If Ai, Ruby and Aqua are "stars" then Hikaru is a damn "Black Hole". He has no notable presence or screentime in the story but whatever he does or says has a big impact on each of our main characters' life. If Aqua and Ruby are sides of same coin known as Ai, then Hikaru owns the whole mint. But "Black Holes" have weakness called "Hawking Radiation", where more mass a "Black Hole" consumes, more of its lifetimes it loses. My guess is Hikaru also used to be "Star" in childhood like Arima Kana but got "crushed" by his own "gravity" as it attracted Airi Himekawa towards him. Spoilers: In chapter 138, it's revealed that he is the one who is sponsoring the whole project about Ai's autobiography "15 year old lie" and his new target may be Masaya Kaburagi, the producer of the film, Frill Shiranui, actress playing Airi Himekawa, or Taiki Himekawa, his other son with Airi, who is playing as Senjuro Uehara, Airi's legal husband.
NGL this is my greatest hype for such a series of a REVENGE manga story mix with idol etc. its mix realism and reincarnation and all the chracers to booth I had hope that Aqua and Ruby does prevent their love ones or themselves being targeted ever again!!!
it’s probably because airi did it with him forcefully which caused him to hate women and also lose his will to live but when he met ai he found a new obsession to manipulate women and end their life when they see them have the eyes he had when he was young. this then led to him killing them which in a way that by killing them, his life would finally feel like it has its meaning again
either this or his encounter with airi caused him to have an obsession to cause misery to the lives of other idols who had a bright passion that their eyes glowed like airi, ai etc and killing them is what keeps him alive and also to quite possibly have aqua be much more determined in finding him

Couldn't it be that Himekawa instilled the idea of Hikaru being "worthless" when he was 11yo, and now kills popular people to feel his "life's weight" as implied in Ch109, just a wild theory, but I suppose Hikaru is doing all this to feel significant or something of the like, since he thinks of himself as worthless.
It does seems on the surface that Hikaru Kamki is a messed up SOB who kills women similar to his molester out of a need of unfulfilled revenge. But that supernatural twist is VERY interesting. Amaterasu (Goddess of the Sun) does Tsukuyomi (The Moon) do have a connection with eyes, and their conflict would be an excellent explanation!
One thing nobody mentions that I think could relate to the supernatural plot is the line “Ah, I took your precious life. My life, I can feel its weight now” in ch109 Could it be some sort of ritual of him? Didn't Hikaru also kill Aqua's previous life doctor-self? The doctor was pushed by a mysterious hooded figure who pushed him down the mountain. If that is true, then perhaps that's the first time Hikaru actually directly killed somebody (which is separate from his usual pattern). Besides, we don't know if the doctor had just awakened the starry eyes at that point (since he was passionate about protecting his beloved idol Ai, and helping her give birth safely) and Hikaru just decided to kill him on-the-spot. That would make the doctor (Aqua's previous life self) Hikaru's first male victim. While from the doctor's POV, the sudden starry eyes might not be visible, perhaps if we get to see Hikaru's POV, things might seem different. The reason I suspect that mysterious figure to be Hikaru, is because Ai's pregnancy did not leak after the doctor's death. After all, why wouldn't the mysterious figure leak the news? What difference would it make?
It was confirmed by the deity that the person who killed the doctor was the same stalker, so nope, the doctor would be Hikaru's first indirect victim assuming he hadn't killed anyone beforehand

With just the very few dialogues we have of him, its the behaviour of a very insecure person that loves to put down others they deem higher than themselves for their own joy. I can't get myself on board with the japanese gods being literally involved because most japanese storytelling style usually handles themes superficially and isnt being unironic. If the japanese gods theory is somehow true, its way too loosely connected to hikaru or aqua and ruby other than them trying to get miyako to not do something that will screw up ai's career. I think that Hikaru wanted revenge on Airi after all she did to him so he plotted to kill her by telling her husband the truth about his wife and that he isn’t the biological father to his son. This made him so angry that he killed his wife and then committed suicide. After that incident, I think it lit a spark in Hikaru since he probably found joy in Airi’s painful death which caused him to become a serial killer to experience that same joy he felt when Airi died.
He has ways to kill perfectly without getting his hands dirty. He did it before using manipulate that led couple's double suicides.

Fun fact white flowers in japan means purity and grief and most commonly found at funerals. Something to give extra meaning to the stalker presenting them to Ai, he was basically calling her pure and announcing her death. White roses also have the meaning of Devotion and silence so Aqua's father, if we go by his theory, was sending the meaning that he was devoted to silencing Ai.

Aqua on the other hand pretended to be "the God of Entertainment".. the same God which just so happened to have a shrine in his hometown, Ame-no-Uzume no Mikoto, which as explained by Aqua himself, was also the deity of performing arts.
My theory is that Airi took advantage of Hikaru when he was 11. That could have been traumatic enough to awaken the killer instinct (black stars). Especially if he was r*ped.
Most likely… the Killer instinct could’ve been due to his own childhood as well, from what Akane was able to gather from Hikaru, is that he was molested and raped by Airi which resulted in his first child being born. But matter such as this when the brain is still developing(your brain finishes developing at mid to late 20’s) and such could’ve caused some damages to his brain, and such his mental state and that was when he was at a young age as well and when he was about to reach puberty, his mind caused it to awaken the black star eyes. And as for why he kills people, mainly it actors and idols, it could be due to them portraying similar traits to Airi and that he wishes to pull the plug before they do it but why did Hikaru kill Ai, from what she implied is that it was a mutual breakup, but for why… either he just wants to kill female stars just because he put them into the same category as Airi… nah that’s a motive too naive to be the cause of Goro, Ai and other female stars deaths, but rather: to cover information about himself, Ai was a rising star and it was most likely she would be exposed for having children at a young age, and then actors who were with them would realise that he got her pregnant. As for the murder of Airi and her husband… he most likely told the husband which caused him to be kill himself and Airi. Or its possible that he saw Ai as an older woman and decided to kill her as well; which means it’s possible that his trauma caused him to become this warped but at a later date and then killed her or rather that he discovered that Ai’s love for Hikaru was a lie and that its possible that Ai was his first relationship outside Airi and that he loved her and wanted to get revenge which is why he killed her.

Actually, I don't think that's what's implied. When Ai called Hikaru, right after asking her question, she said "No, I'm not trying to get back together", which suggests that Hikaru's response to Ai's call was "Do you want to get back together with me" (or something like this) as Ai saying something like this without any prompt from the other side would be weird. It, then, implies that Hikaru wanted to be with Ai (otherwise, that wouldn't be his first reaction/first thing on his mind), which means he wasn't over the break-up yet. Which means that even if Hikaru agreed to break-up with Ai he didn't exactly want that/changed his mind.

I honestly think ruby will probably die, or at least have a close moment to it. I feel like it’ll be the sparking moment that causes them reveal their past life identity. This scenario will either further Aqua’s guilt of not being able to save anyone, or break the cycle because now he’s an adult and can save others. While ruby is like bleeding out or something, perhaps aqua pulls out his past life doctor skills and tries to save ruby. This is probably when ruby will connect the dots or hallucinate the doctor onto aqua in some kind of way.
i highly doubt the manga author will do this kind of scenario again, it's more likely that aqua will end up dying, which will make ruby start blaming herself or something like that

I know a lot of people tend to gravitate to "Hikaru is reincarnated" theory, but I'm honestly not a fan of it because it sweeps Himekawa's mother abuse of a literal child under the rug. Hikaru joined the troupe at 10, Himekawa was born when Hikaru was 11. So we can assume that Hikaru was groomed or SA'd almost straight away or a few months as a newbie. If anything, this witch is the cause of Hikaru spiraling into a serial killer specifically targeting women like her.
A bit of rambling, but I noticed that Hikaru only made a move against Himekawa's mother when he was around 18~19. I would also argue that Goro's death was likely to be more of the stalker's impulse, and the double suicide was his true first murder. The crow deity never said the middle schooler was the mastermind. Only that the stalker was with him. That's a lot of missing context. Perhaps there is correlation between Hikaru not acting anymore with his current serial killing of talented actresses. Maybe something happened between the time he quit the trope and presumably went to the hospital Ai gave birth at. Hell, maybe Goro's death was a trigger. Maybe his killing pattern is a combination of the abuse under Airi and the turbulence of breaking up with Ai. I reread the manga a little and there was a part where Aqua noted that people are in acting because they usually love it. Could this be a foreshadowing about Hikaru in whatever made him unable to do acting anymore is a huge source of frustration, and seeing the women with significant impact on his life still able to continue acting drove him to murderous envy?
EDIT: WAIT I GET IT. Hikaru Kamiki's love/obsession for acting is why Aqua said acting is his form of revenge. Nothing says poetic justice more than using what your enemy loves most to destroy them.
The easiest and the one most likely considering it lines up with how the manga shows the "dark side" of the industry is: Kindaichi didn't want Lala Lie to go under. A scandal like any of the two existing would be Lala Lie under media eyes in the negative way, especially considering Ai's own popularity and her death. He's the representative of the company and, as such, will be the one who'll be affected the most from media backfire.

It is an interesting thing the fact that the white roses are a way to "mark" those he wants to kill. Those flowers were seen for the first time when Ai was stabbed (they were carried by the stalker), teh second time was when Hikaru brought these roses at teh cemetery back then, and then the last time we saw those flowers when Akane sees them.
But there is one time that is truly worrying : The TRUE first time when we see these flowers is during the first time we saw Kana, during her interview at Chapter 6.In the first case of the first page,you can see whites roses at the right....

I thought Kana was interviewed by Kaburagi and Gotanda for a role in the film, but maybe that's not true...There's a possibility that Kamiki is behind the interview, and maybe that's how Aqua plans to involve him with the film. Or Kamiki is involved with the film in some other way since he owns a production agency.

I have a theory on how the father probably is very similar to Aqua. In the manga when Aqua decides to officially become an actor. His first gig was as a Stalker in that already failing drama. He talks about how, unlike Ai, his mother, he doesn't have that "star power" or talent. Which is ultimately what I think the white star eyes symbolize. I think the black eyes, like you said, are a sort of get to my goal by any means symbol. The reason I bring up this scene is because while he's talking about his lack of talent, he brings up how he cultivates his acting based on the environment around him. Using the puddles on the ground, his entryway and the camera angle. He's using things around him, but this can also be shown when he uses people around him. This leads into why I think the father kills young women with these eyes. It's because he can't have these eyes for himself. No matter what, he has to use things and people around him for what he wants. He can't just simply succeed with his own talent and off his own merit. I think it's a genuine hate for women who can do what he can't.
But hey, that's just a theory.

8:00 I definitely think it's intentional that they had one white star! Especially with the way it's framed for Ruby, it's the direct center of the panel, the focus is directly on it. I can't imagine it as a mistake, and I don't think it's a coincidence that this half black half white combo only noticably shows up when the twins are being altruistic towards someone they care about. Ai and the twins were originally altruists themselves, Ai for her fans and the twins for Ai. When they stop becoming motivated by their love, their eyes change.
I do agree that Toshirou is suspicious! I might be wrong because I haven't re-read completely in a while, but looking back to some pages, it felt perfectly placed so he could talk little to nothing about Kamiki - but it also grants a reason to why he would keep quiet about Kamiki's existence towards Aqua, I think?
The fact that he raised Himekawa, as an actor (and perhaps a little alike to what Aqua and the Director's relationship is) could influence a lot on him not telling directly anything about Kamiki. Himekawa was five, but he's pretty much aware he "disliked his father" (who probably murdered his mother) and stuck to the artistic name of Himekawa, from his mother. Kamiki, at the time of spilling the info or at least pulling some strings on the incident of Airi Himekawa's death, was probably 16, yes? Ai was already pregnant by that time and they'd already taken their distance. At that very same year, Kamiki had just retired from the company.
Perhaps Toshirou knew something was weird. Because after all, Kamiki was abused a year after his entrance at the company… like some people have said, he was a newie. Whether Airi Himekawa's personality was weird like that to use her status there to take advantage of the rookies in general, or wether this was a one time situation, having Toshirou who - as a founding member - was working close to the members, could end up realizing something weird happened. He probably acted as if it was nothing, and thus cornering himself when Kamiki finally moves things around and causes the tragedy of Himekawa's parents suicide. He probably deducted it had something to do with him or at least suspected a little when Kamiki retired from acting, but kept moving on and maybe even took Himekawa under his wing, since he could've felt guilty. Now that he's attached to him, I'd assume he wouldn't want to explain him how he could've been a child born out of infidelity and abuse, whose biological parent may or may not had something to do with his parents suicide. (Like, his "father" is a murderer already, his mother is also scum… give him a break.)
Turning a blind eye to Aqua's looks makes sense, way much more since their conversation was the 3 together. Also… If a remember correctly he gave a whole speech about how he "liked people who felt broken" and knew about "people who only acted imitating, as if they could feel nothing themselves". But in the end, the desire of (something-something) emotions was "the real deal". He could've had his eye set on Hikaru for the same reasons, perhaps? Idk.
Edit: I re-read a little more, and Kamiki was probably older when Himekawa's parents died, since the "suicide incident" happened the same year she was having talks about performing in the dome (since Kamiki was 15 and Ai 16 when Ai was already pregnant, if Ai was 19 years old at the time, Kamiki probably was 17 for incoming reasons I'll dig deeper on this). So it was about two years after Kamiki left the company - but I'd argue saying began moving in this as soon as he retired. Himekawa was probably born when Kamiki was already 12, and Himekawa was 5 when his parents died. I'd say begging a plan at 16 - when you've left the company, it having a strike when he's 17 and soon enough after you've finally made your first tragedy happen. Anyways, I don't think waiting had much relevance to Kamiki and it's just how things turned out, since he himself went along Ai's murderer in their first visit to the hospital. Probably Goro's death drove them away? I've been searching so much my brain hurts, save me.

I may sound dumb but I'm actually glad Aqua went back on his path for revenge when a character turns dark there's always this moment where someone or something brings them back but Aqua is deadset on killing "that person" even if he goes to hell for his actions.

I’m also wondering if Aqua=Tsukuyomi and Ruby=Amaterasu, then who is Susanoo? I want to say it’s Kana because her full name basically means “strong horse” which could be an allusion to the horse Susanoo rides…but it’s just a theory. It would fit right in with the themes in the series about how celebrities are overworked (work horse, get it lol) etc though. Even the OP has a scene where it’s hinted at that Kana is the third deity.

To be honest, I feel like Kindaichi is the one who raised Hikaru. The comment he made about liking actors being "a little bit broken" was really creepy, and slightly out of nowhere. There's a good chance that Kindaichi may be helping Hikaru with setting up the killings, or setting up actors for success just so Hikaru can continue killing them.

I can't help but feel that Hikaru is merely another red herring. The more I read more I feel like there is too much pulling out to having him as a suspect. But at the same time there is no real confirmation that it was Hikaru or that Hikaru was the only third party that knew about Ai. It feels way too obvious to be true. There is also the fact the main story only started around chapter 80, which makes me think ghere is still a long road to go. I don't think Aqua's current plan is going to succeed.

If we assume Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi are both part of the story, then I think the Crow Deity serves Amaterasu and works against Tsukuyomi. Based on the legend of these deities, the crow (heavily implied to be Yatagarasu), was a guide sent by Amaterasu to aid the first emperor of Japan.
In Oshi no Ko, the Crow Deity guides Ruby on the path to find Goro's body and also uncover the truth about Ai's death. So, I think the Crow Deity was there to help Ruby discover the truth about Ai's death. If the deity makes another appearance, then I assume it would be to help Ruby again.

Currently in the manga, both Aqua and Ruby have black stars in both eyes and i have a theory on how they both will come to the light side again.
Ruby got her black stars when she realised that the doctor is dead and is killed by the same person as Ai. So i think she will gain her white stars back after she finds out that Aqua is the doctor.
Same for Aqua, he was so obsessed with Ai partly because he wanted to watch over her as he couldn't do the same for Sarina. So realising that her little sister is that same Sarina living her dream of becoming an idol is more than enough to bring him back to the light side.

I think he wanted revenge on the women that ruined his career, which then morphed into killing women with drive to be successful in the industry.
Thinking from the pov of a child that's been groomed and taken advantage of, I suppose having a child through an adult woman, someone that had more power and authority over him, was rather traumatic. Then, Ai also having a child of his and going ahead with the pregnancy, could be a reminder of the lack of consent he suffered when his first child was conceived. The existence of those children might've taken away his joy for acting all together. Thus, he decided to take revenge on the women that ruined it- and he ended up liking it. Taking away the light in their eyes the same way his dreams were.
I might be completely wrong and maybe he was bad from the start, but I just feel icky at the prospect of an 11 y/o being a masterplan psycopath that got his teacher pregnant for supernatural shenanigans. Although at this point, who knows...
Also, would you say that Taiki could symbolize Susanoo-no-Mikoto? The way he behaves reminds me of the way that deity is often described. And he's the third sibling in the mythos as well.

The interesting thing about kamiki hikaru is he hardly ever seems to actually physically hurt someone, he rather manipulates people into situations where they cause it themselves. He told the stalker of Ai's information so he would kill ai and gorou, he might've manipulated taiki's mother and her husband to do a double suicide, and that latest actress he probably didn't push her off the edge rather he led her to a dangerous part of a cliff and didn't do anything when she slipped and fell.
I also believe the theory that kamiki was SA'd, because oshinoko tackles a lot of real life stuff that happens in the entertainment industry and child stars being assaulted by older stars or other people involved in the industry isn't anything new. We already saw that case with Melt who was implied to have been abused by an older women but considering taiki himekawa's age it's highly likely kamiki was either 9 or 10 years old when he first become a star, so he could've been a literal child who was raped.
And irl a lot of childstars who experience those type of situations grow up and become really controversial and messed up adults some becoming abusive to their significant others, others drug abusing and others violating the law or some just become messed up in the head.
Maybe that's what happened to kamiki he was abused by an older woman so that warped his mind to think the way he does

I feel like it'll be a bit redundant to go after akane, he tried to kill akane before on the staircase (right now only speculation). And from a writing perspective that's the obvious bait.
Kana is written in a way, since the beginning of the story, to be this brilliant actress but she hasn't gotten the opportunity to shine on a grand stage, keeping her away from hikaru's sight and seemingly preference. She's basically been coasting under the radar for the entire series in the entertainment industry. Sure the idol stuff has been successful but it isn't on the level as when Ai was the lead. You factor in that kana is personally connected to both aqua and ruby on a deep personally level. If their dad wants to personally get back at them, because of the movie, that's an added bonus to make them suffer. Plus aqua has, clumsy, tried to protect kana for about half the series, if you take his past trauma of him not protecting/saving Ai and something happens to kana, it's going to get ugly.
And finally the color white symbolism. Kana's glow stick is white and it's considered "special" in idol culture. I believe on two occasions we seen white roses in the series. The first is with Ai's death scene and the second was at akane's event, clearly these white roses are his calling card for his next victim. The color white and white roses are symbolic of purity (among other things), in my opinion I believe the white glow stick and white roses are narratively connected. And if you look at the latest volume cover ( vol 11) it's Kana with a rose like dress with white gloves and there's a promotional art (official art) with kana holding a flower to her face, I'm not saying that means anything but man.
There's something that draws their father to highly popular (with star eyes) female actress in the industry, if he sees this movie and he sees kana's multi-star eyes, which also extends out from body, that makes her radiates like the sun, which akane has directly stated, and she finally starts to garner more success and attention I believe Kana might be his next victim.
Personally for me there's too much subtext and stuff shown in our face over the course of the series that I can't think of anyone other her.

Hmm, Ai lied every time she appeared on the page, so it's not a surprise that she has a true hidden self. But what kind of real self is the question, now that we know she also had black starry eyes - which I'm fairly certain she got after meeting Hikaru.
Although I don't think she's in the same boat as him. She's definitely got a darker side - which should've come from the fact that she was an orphan, but I don't think she had that murderous intent. I would say she has done some less-than-ethical things to achieve her goals but nothing too outrageous.

"Stars" establish their "presence" with their "identity" and have a certain "gravity" that attracts people towards them. But sometimes that certain "gravity" crushes them from inside out, they become a "Black Hole", a thing that doesn't have any identity but they can distort the very space time with their very presence. It consumes other stars to "feel its own weight". If Ai, Ruby and Aqua are "stars" then Hikaru is a damn "Black Hole". He has no notable presence or screentime in the story but whatever he does or says has a big impact on each of our main characters' life. If Aqua and Ruby are sides of same coin known as Ai, then Hikaru owns the whole mint. But "Black Holes" have weakness called "Hawking Radiation", where more mass a "Black Hole" consumes, more of its lifetimes it loses. My guess is Hikaru also used to be "Star" in childhood like Arima Kana but got "crushed" by his own "gravity" as it attracted Airi Himekawa towards him.
Spoilers: In chapter 138, it's revealed that he is the one who is sponsoring the whole project about Ai's autobiography "15 year old lie" and his new target may be Masaya Kaburagi, the producer of the film, Frill Shiranui, actress playing Airi Himekawa, or Taiki Himekawa, his other son with Airi, who is playing as Senjuro Uehara, Airi's legal husband.
NGL this is my greatest hype for such a series of a REVENGE manga story mix with idol etc.

It does seems on the surface that Hikaru Kamki is a messed up SOB who kills women similar to his molester out of a need of unfulfilled revenge. But that supernatural twist is VERY interesting. Amaterasu (Goddess of the Sun) does Tsukuyomi (The Moon) do have a connection with eyes, and their conflict would be an excellent explanation!

Didn't Hikaru also kill Aqua's previous life doctor-self? The doctor was pushed by a mysterious hooded figure who pushed him down the mountain. If that is true, then perhaps that's the first time Hikaru actually directly killed somebody (which is separate from his usual pattern). Besides, we don't know if the doctor had just awakened the starry eyes at that point (since he was passionate about protecting his beloved idol Ai, and helping her give birth safely) and Hikaru just decided to kill him on-the-spot. That would make the doctor (Aqua's previous life self) Hikaru's first male victim.

The reason I suspect that mysterious figure to be Hikaru, is because Ai's pregnancy did not leak after the doctor's death. After all, why wouldn't the mysterious figure leak the news? What difference would it make?
It was confirmed by the deity that the person who killed the doctor was the same stalker, so nope, the doctor would be Hikaru's first indirect victim assuming he hadn't killed anyone beforehand
And the stalker was forced to kill the doc since he followed him all the way to the mountains

With just the very few dialogues we have of him, its the behaviour of a very insecure person that loves to put down others they deem higher than themselves for their own joy.
I can't get myself on board with the japanese gods being literally involved because most japanese storytelling style usually handles themes superficially and isnt being unironic.
If the japanese gods theory is somehow true, its way too loosely connected to hikaru or aqua and ruby other than them trying to get miyako to not do something that will screw up ai's career.
The supernatural stuff like the reincarnation and the crow girl(?) that lit up Ruby's dark motivations can be a conjecture that she simply want's to punish hikaru not because he's some incarnate of a god or malicious divine being, dark japanese stories with karma or some revenge plot always have sinners and punisher or gatekeepers of hell literally visiting them as a core setting.(i can vaguely remember few, but i cant remember the names, sorry that i can't provide some titles)
I know hikaru being just simple psychopath seems anti-climatic to many, but my question to that is why do we really need to create more nuances or some reason to understand the dude? he crossed the line several times, he could've simply dip n' dashed the first women and Ai but he came back and kill them later for whatever reason other than him being spiteful. Him quiting at the age of 16 and having clear patterns of targetting very successful or determined actresses/idols shows enough hint where it is going. Him being just simple messed up person doesn't degrade the story.
I agree with all that is said in this video except for hikaru driven by supernatural motives or being involved in some conflicts relating to mythological beings.
Its gonna be sad that Akane(or possibly kana for being the most innocent character in this series) will be the next victim, so that would be fan the flames in Aqua, and when it does happen, i dont want this mofo having excuses and i want Aqua to be satisfied.

I think that Hikaru wanted revenge on Airi after all she did to him so he plotted to kill her by telling her husband the truth about his wife and that he isn’t the biological father to his son. This made him so angry that he killed his wife and then committed suicide. After that incident, I think it lit a spark in Hikaru since he probably found joy in Airi’s painful death which caused him to become a serial killer to experience that same joy he felt when Airi died.
