after 13 years in the motorcycle industry at the dealer level, I have sold all these brands, and all are good. But I would never wear anything but SIDI... and I had reps wanting to GIVE me their product!
This is a great review. I wish you guys would do the same review after one of your offroad, non-mx adventures for all the trail guys out there. Things like grip on rocks/dirt, durability, water resistance, and how you feel being in the boot all day would be interesting and helpful to a lot of riders. Thanks everyone for doing this review.
I broke my right shin bone (inner side) when my ebike fell on me due to wet offroad. I am trying to find a motorcross boot, but looking thru all major names, but I still can't find a boot that has HARD SHELL on entire inner section (like ski boot). That can withstand 200lb bike fall on top of lower leg. Any suggestion? Thanks !
I’m debating between SG 12 and Tech 10s. I ride everything but mostly desert all day so I need a comfortable boot I can walk in a lot. Do the SG12 feel ok when walking?
@@nikolasgibson3438 IMO I have had Alpinestars and they may of felt good out of the box but limit support and protection long term ...I believe the best boot is the SG-12. They are not designed to walk Mt Everest, but if I rolled off there I'd want those boots on me PERIOD 😉
Tech 10 definitely very stiff. Maybe I’m just weird but I got running in my new tech 10s to break them in before their first actual ride. Sprints up and down a steep hill, running and jumping around in the for an afternoon really makes a difference and it’s worth it with how truly good the tech 10 is.
I looked at the Tech 10s but budget (and not finding them in black in my size at the time) made me go for the Tech7s and overall I am very pleased with them. They broke in faster than I initially thought they would, and I like the support and peg feel they offer. Plus I love the way they look. I did however have to go up 1/2 size for best fit. (11, my foot is 10.5) Compared to my SG-12s they have a slightly higher toe box so shifting took me bit of time to readjust to. But the better feel and comfort is worth it. I only have two minor complaints with the 7s ....one, they squeak A LOT when walking. Second, (and my old Tech 3s from 1990 had this same issue), they really start to stink faster than my SG-12s. Not sure why, and I don't have the issue with my shoes or work boots. It may have something to do with how Alpinestars processes the leather. Overall they are excellent and very durable boots for the price. My buddy Xandar currently runs the Fox Instincts and agrees with you guys on the lack of durabilty, but likes the feel and ankle flex of them. He also used to wear the SG-12s but didn't like how heavy the soles felt and how stiff they were. He'll try my Tech 7s on our next ride, with the high ratings you guys gave the Tech 10, he is interested in trying Alpinestars for his possible next set of boots. Thanks guys for the excellent video on this and the many other topics you cover. Braap on!
Wore the instincts for 1 season and decided to give the SG12 a try, really really like the fit and finish and how comfortable they were. That being said, I kept misshifting and hitting my rear brake unintentional, the toe box is just huge, couldn’t get used to it and bought new instincts.
@@rmatvmc yup, same goes for the SG12. If I would have kept them for longer I might have gotten used to it and adjusted either my foot position or the shifter and brake pedal, but as soon as I went back to the instincts, I felt “at home”, haha.

Went from years of tech 10’s to leatt gpx 5.5’s and love them, don’t see myself going back. will probably buy the sidi’S next though to try something new
I have the Leatt boots, I absolutely love them!! Only one flaw in my opinion, the rubber on the inside near the toe is prone to tear, especially if you have a kick start, it is definitely a high contact area though

For anyone doubting the Fox Insticts go try a pair on and see how great they feel on the bike. I had tech 10s prior and the SG12s before Astars. I tried the Sidi's and they were too narrow. The Instincts out of the box were more comfortable and I felt more connected to the bike then my broken in 2 year old Tech 10s.
How do they fit nowadays? Heard they corrected their sizing and now are more of a true fit. Had a pair of 2017 or 2018 Instincts that were about a full size too small.
Fox instinct boots are amazing! I have had all these boots and after having wore the instinct I won’t go back to any other boot. You guys mentioned about durability and and can say the fox Instinct have held up very well for me and I have 80 or more hours on them. A rider.
Thanks Brady. I think what a lot of riders meant when they talked about durability was the boot having too much flex too soon and losing some of that impact support feel. I agree that the Instincts do last longer than most give credit for. Thanks for watching! - Chase
@@rmatvmc hey Chase. I can tell you from experience with mine you don’t lose any of that support for I cases a huge jump last year and they and surprisingly me took it well lol. Just thought I would let you and others know.
I have the Sidi Atajo and really like them. I have a skinnier foot, chicken legs, and really wear a 11.5. I heard these had a smaller toe box, fit skinnier feet, and ran in half sizes so I got the 11.5 and it fits like a glove and is super comfortable. This is a real nice boot.
GARNE SG-12 takes a long time to break in. I wish they had more range of movement. But they're comfortable and would protect your feet from pretty much anything you throw at them. Overall I rate at 9/10 compared to the Sidi or Alpinestars.
Great video with good, useful info. It was interesting to me that all the riders with wide feet liked the fit of the tech 10's. I was always told Gaerne had the widest fit, and I have very wide feet. I might try on a pair of tech 10's someday, but I have a feeling that I'll stick with Gaerne. I feel like the stiffness and heavy, solid construction helps quite a bit with safety as well.
The SG12s are pretty wide, but yes, the Tech 10s are also wide as well. One thing about the Tech 10 that I like is that the toe box construction has a little more give to it than the SG12. My big toe presses up against the side of the SG12 and rubs it a little bit. - Chase
I have the Fox Instinct and they are super comfy. Then 5 days ago I just broke my lower Tib and Fib above my ankle so I would like to see a bit more support in that area. So once I'm healed I'm considering the Tech 10s
@@rmatvmc Like you guys said, it will be fun to see the long term durability of the Instincts. So far they are like new. (New in April) Great review format guys, very enjoyable!
Great video. Enjoyed seeing different types of riders and their different opinions. Really helped narrow things down for me between Instincts, Tech 10s, & SG12's. Instincts it is!
Enjoyed the Instincts until I broke my left leg above heel and dislocated my foot. Needs more heel lockout flexing up, until then it's Alpinestars Tech 10's.
Long time Astars guys... This vid made me give Fox a shot and have to say, I am blown away. If you're looking to mix up boots, give the instincts a shot - totally different riding experience.
SG-12. Period. End of story. Especially 30 rides later. Just keep wearing them with no worries. The others all break down is what I notice everyone reporting after one season. The SG-12 design and feel is amazing and the big G looks so dope too🤣

I love my tech7 but they are desintgrating every ride ;) Next will buy sg12s because the little bit less feel I can live with as long as they have longer life ....
I just recently got a YZ125 and with it I got some used boots 2 of my buddies wore. SG12s. They hold up. They’re a little beat up but my buddy who wore them 1st still wears sg12s and his buddy too.
Jeff Ward wore SIDI's back in the day. They must be awesome. I'm sold. Funny I thought the big red Gatorade boots were by far the ugliest. Great review guys
From the mid 80's I have been wearing the old Scott full plastic boots. Like having armor on your lower legs and feet. Coming from that kind of protection, about 2 years ago, I got a pair of Insticts and for me they're okay but feel soft. A few month's later after watching many reviews and looking at the construction of many boots, along with the price points, I got a pair of Leatt 5.5's. Over all I'm very satisfied with them. Just my opinion.

I own the limited edition ken roczen version of the fox instinct boots. they are superior and the best addition to my riding.these boots changed the game for me and gave me complete mobility and able to feel my levers. night and day boy. I'm sure the other boots are good as well but I can vouch for the fox instinct set.
This might be a stupid sounding question but I'm 64 this year and I ride a 420 pound g 650 gs sertao and I'm wanting a motorcross boot for its crush protection . It seems like the less lateral movement the boot has the harder it is to crush or collapse left and right . I want a boot that if my heavy bike lands on my boot the boot will keep my ankle and leg from getting crushed . Thats the main concern . The 2nd consern is the comfort for long wear time . and 3rd concern is feeling the shifter . What boot should I get for riding at slower speed on fire roads and some single trails through the mountains .
Started enduro and MX with SGs and love them. It takes time to break in and takes eternity to break them. Just feels so smooth that I can’t imagine what and where can feel any better and that’s why I’ll probably never have any other boot. Hi from Ukraine and thanx for good content!

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it. It was a loooong day but we had a blast. It is a lot harder than most people think to choose between 5 different boots and pick a favorite because you like certain things about all of them. - Chase
Since helmets and boots are the most important protection items in my opinion, I would love to see a similar video with helmets. Great video btw very enjoyable to watch
I broke my ankle wearing a tech 7, now I’ll upgrade to a tech 10… in case you’re wondering how, I fell in a turn, a buddy of mine was right behind and didn’t have time for a full break and his front wheel hit my ankle…. Just had cirurgy this monday for two screws do fix the broken bone. Wish I was wearing a stiffer boot.
I'd like to see an Enduro version of this test. Enduro we care a lot more about protection and traction. Would be nice to actually test and verify protection, instead of only judging by perception.
How would they test that though? It would probably be like neck brace tests. They do great in some and fail other but none of that matters if it doesn't let the rider preform comfortably.
My Tech 7 Enduro boots work pretty well for me. Pro: Comfortable and sturdy. Have supported my ankles well when I crash practicing. Good grippy sole. Con: Grippy sole sticks on the pegs so to shift I have to lift straight up, move to shifter/brake and shift/brake then lift back up and go back to ball of foot. I've adjusted to these but I think I'd prefer the regular Tech 7
I really enjoy my TCX evo 2 Michelin. I consider them a premium. I like the sticky sole, strong straps and flexibility. I don’t like how squeaky they are
BDill, the 4.5 and the 5.5 are very different. I actually like the 4.5 more than the 5.5, but because this was the "premium" shootout, we didn't have those or the Tech 7. - Chase

I understand why you feel that way but you need to ride in a pair first. You want a good connected feel to the bike and the Instinct is the best in that category. - Chase
I broke my tib & fib wearing Instincts some years ago then changed to T10's after that for several years without any issues. I recntly went back to try Instincts again and then broke my big toe in a crash. As most have said, Instincts are comfortable straight out of the box but the toe box is soft compared to other premium boots and the boot generally not as supportive due to its flexibility, in my opinion. If you want looks & comfort, then the Instinct is the way to go, but if you want support and protection, then I would pick one of the other boots. I wear ATOJO's now and they are great. They are supportive, offer great protection and are still the lightest boots out there. PS - I. find the Instincts get smelly really quickly for some reason too. I don't have that problem with other brands..
I have sg-12 and crossfire 3’s and i like the sidi more ive broke both my feet so i think its more of a comfortability thing but both boots are amazing and almost all pieces on the boots are replacable too

I am Dual-Sport/adventure type of rider. Two years back, as I started to do more hardcore dual-sport type of the riding, I transferred from tourist/adv style of the boots into pure dirt type of the boots. I was afraid that it would be missiarable experience with non waterproof, stiff like hell, stone heavy boots. Have selected SG-12 for durability, comfort and soil stiffness. For me stiff soil is an advantage. Otherwise when I am standing on the pegs for 8 or 10h a day, I would feel pegs digging into my feet. Done up to moment ca 10 000miles with them and I absolutely love my sg-12.

I can't feel shit with my tech 5s lol. I have to look down to shift! but they are very cunfy. super soft. I love em, and I'm still braking them in. my main problem is adjusting my shifter high enough with my glann case saver blocking my shifter. I grinded a tab bit of the case saver but I don't want to wearing it too much. still love the tech 5s
Great video!! I wish I would of seen this while I was in the market. I pretty much tried on all of these boots and without being able to ride in them it's pretty much up to fitment. The main issue I was having with finding boots that fit is even though the length was good, I was having issues with my heel coming up. In the end it was between the Crossfire's, SG 12's and the Leatt 5.5. (The Tech 10's we're out of stock) The Sidi's were a little narrow, the SG 12 we're a little wide plus felt like there wasn't much cushion. Then I tried on the Leatt 5.5's which felt like putting on a comfy snowboard boot. They were super plush, had good buckles and seemed pretty protective. The only issue was that when buckled there was pressure on my inside ankle bones which I contemplated about and figured they have to break in. So I got the Leatt's and after about 15 hours of riding they seem to be breaking in pretty good. There's a little pressure when I first buckle them up but after all day riding have no pinch points or sore spots on my feel. As stated in the video, if they get rid of the pressure points and reinforce the screws that some people have had pull thru, I think these will be in the top 3. The main thing for me was that it held my heel secure and didn't have any heel rise when walking or standing on the balls of my feet.
Thanks for the feedback, Chris. You're absolutely right. Everything about the 5.5 is pretty dang solid. Like we said in the video, when you put them on, the footbed is one of the most comfortable. Just have the spot on the ankle that bugged a couple of us. But they're a solid boot. - Chase
Great video and a great idea to do this kind of a shootout, definitely looking forward for more! One improvement suggestion: Maybe in the end go through each competitor with everyone's overall opinion on them. Feels like Leatts being mostly averarge or below on everyone's list, they didn't get that much attention in the video. Overall ranking in the end would be interesting too, putting together all category scores for every boot and declare the winner. Although with boots being so different to different types of feet the overall ranking wouldn't be that scientific. (This is a bit biased coment as I've been looking to get the Leatts the most)
Hi Turre, if this helps in any way, I got the Leatts for enduro riding after trying all of these boots at the store before buying. They just felt right for me and the protection felt better than most other (except the SG12 maybe). I've put in about one season on them and so far they are the best boots i've ever owned. Like I said, I bought them for enduro and I am an average rider, but I would definitely recommend them. If you try them out and like them i'd say go for it.
@@xzistpo Hey, thanks for the reassurance! They indeed seem very innovative and protective, with good bang-for-buck ratio compared to these others. Slight concern about there apparently having been a minor design flaw with one of the ankle joint screw counterparts coming off. I take it yours are have been just fine? I think it might have been addressed by Leatt.
@@turre1949 Indeed, mine have been just fine so far ! I did rip one buckle off the boot in a hard enduro ride where my boot got caught between the footpeg and a sharp branch. frankly, I think any boot would have lost that buckle there. Anyway, the point is Leatt was super quick in sending a new buckle free of charge. It made me pretty confident about my purchase. As I said, I really love these boots so far. I truly dont understand why these boots were on the bottom of the list everywhere here.
I think I'm rough on gear but I found the alpine stars I wore a hole from shifting within 30hrs soles were average The sg12 I like the most but found I was replacing soles every 35hrs but shifter would not ware through.. Best fit feel boot for me. The fox instinct I like but hate how free I feel in them. Nice to ride in but the support worries me. They are a real tight fit, most people I know buy the size up from normal as the boots narrow and squeezes more than others. Havnt.had a chance to try the other 2. My list would be Sg12 Tech 10s Instinct
Weekend vet... Alpinestars tech10 in white is the best looking boot. Had sg12s does are comfortable and indestructible 100 hours+.... Now I own two pair of tech 10's super comfortable but they lack durability. after 40-50 hours, the inside plastics are worn and already had to replace sole inserts.
Always loved the SG-12s Fox Instinct's look killer Jealous of how light the SIDI's are Excited to try my new pair of Alpinestars And had no idea Leatt made a premium boot so good to hear they're keeping up!

I've got Sidi Crossfire 3 SRS boots myself. I'm a big dude and have a wide foot, so they're not the most comfortable in the toe box/ball of the foot area, but other than that the boots are very adjustable and comfortable. Not sure I would buy them again because of the width concern, but for someone with a skinnier foot, they're fantastic.
I have the SG-12’s excellent boot as far as stability, comfort, and being able to grip a yz450f in the woods. Not much peg feel but they are barely broken in.

Why did you pick the Sidi Atajo insteda of the Crossfire 3 (them beeing the equivalent to SG12)? Isn‘t it like comparing a DRZ400 to a EXC500? Diferent class, IMO.
I would have to disagree with that. Cairolli and other top pros all wear the ATAJO. It's less expensive than the CF3, but the ankle support and protection is very similar. It doesn't have as many replacement parts which is another reason for the cheaper price. I did a lineup video on all of their boots if you want to know all the major differences between them. - Chase
I have Alpinestars Tech 10’s and I love them. They are very good except insideside sole durability as it’s so soft material. I have very sharp titanium foot pegs that wears them out. I think most durable ones are Gaerne SG 12’s.
That part of the Alpinestar outter sole is commonly and easily replaced. I saw some where that we can do it at home in about 30 minutes or less. New sole & heat gun as I recall. Not 100% on the heat gun though.
@@human1513 Thanks for your reply. The problem is I don´t live in US and here in Finland we don´t get other parts than maybe buckels and complete inner boots for them. I have never seen any soles for sale here. Maybe if I contact some US company or straight contact Alpinestars then I can have replacement soles for my boots. My boots are still ok only worn out from there a bit but in the future it would be great to be able to change soles without the need to buy complete new boots.
I have SG-12’s and love them! The one time I went with another brand, I went with the Fox Instinct’s and they’re currently on there way to get repaired from the glue on the soles giving away so more than likely when they get back, they’ll be for sale, lol.

@@rmatvmc Hi Chase! Thanks for the reply. The brands you have tested in this video were the boots I'm looking at buying next. Maybe even Forma Pilot or Predator 2, if they'll be available?
We don't carry Forma MX boots. But I can answer any questions you'd like about the boots in this video. Also, if you like the Sidi, they have two new boots coming out in the next few months. Malcom Stewart is wearing the newest boot that should launch sometime in March and they also have a new mid-level boot that should be here before that. - Chase
I'm a bit confused on why the Sidi Crossfire's weren't included? Also there should've been a spot under comfort for width. I personally purchased a pair of Gaerne SG-12'S from Rocky Mountain ATV and none there could explain to me on how to adjust the shin plate so it'll open up farther since I'm 6'3" & 300lbs with huge legs & I also have a wide foot. So I finally ended up getting a pair of Sidi Crossfire 3's with the regular sole and I'll tell ya I'm kinda glad no one from Rocky Mountain ATV couldn't help me, because these Crossfire's are on point. There still needs to be a video of how you actually adjust the boots and still don't understand why the Crossfire's weren't included.
Tony, we thought about adding those in, but truth is, they are so similar in the fit, sole, and construction of the lower part, we didn't think it was needed to have them in this video. Plus, just having 5 boots was tough to get in that much riding. The amount of laps done to ride in 6 boots is a ton! To adjust the SG12 shin plate, you simply undo the three screws on the shin plate and move it to the other set of holes. But sounds like you went with Sidi anyway. I'm glad you're liking them. - Chase
Awesome video! Great way to find out whats best for you and what really works! Would be great if you could do this with helmets, jersey/pants, body armour, neck braces, gloves, goggles etc! Good job guys!
i have tech 10's and i like almost everything except for how hard it is too get you foot in and my buckles will come undone while riding and the strap falls off (mostly on the bottom one's)
Is there a reason Forma is never mentioned in these reviews? Maybe they could throw a bender in the rankings ;) I have the Predator 2.0 and love them. The support is phenomenal. The padding is amazing as well. Plenty of room for POD braces is a plus.
I have the sg12. It took several long rides to break them in around the ankle. Very tight at first, I thought I made a big mistake. Once broken in, they feel great. I personally don't like the steel edged toe. It makes for false shifts, I prefer a rounded toe.
Are Forma Predators no longer available? I got a pair a few years ago, and they are holding up well. The hinge stops saved my ankles once when I cased nasty on a double. Ankles were sore but a non-hinged boot would have resulted in 2 broken ankles I'm quite sure. Very comfortable. Heavy, but very well armored. Excellent boot.
I did not like the Tech 10 as it felt super bulky. Great feel on the pegs but it felt taller in the box and wider than the SG12 I’m currently in. Haven’t been in the SG12 long enough to give my thoughts on those. Only one ride in. But I can still feel the pegs some. Just not anywhere near the Tech 10. However, it is super comfy and find it less difficult to change gears.
I have always liked the fit and comfort from Alpinestars but lately I've been more concerned with country of origin because quality of workmanship is important to me
Depends on the model. Every pair of tech 10s I’ve looked at say made in Croatia, which is right across from Italy. As far as the tech 7s tags say made in Thailand. Not sure about the lower tech models. Personally I’ve never had any quality issues or defects with the tech 10s. In my opinion they’re the most comfortable boot out there. The sg12 is a close second. As far as craftsmanship and long lasting boot I’d say the sg12 is best. But the tech 10s will still last a long time. It really comes down to preference. For me the tech 10 is the go to boot.
They're both premium boots and it depends on what the rider wants. The CF3 has more replaceable parts but is also quite a bit heavier than the ATOJO. You also do get the option for the traditional sole with a Crossfire. The ATOJO is lighter (has less parts) but also has the insert on the front buckles for impact support. At the time of this video, the ATOJO was fairly new and so we wanted to showcase the latest boot that SIDI had to offer. Also, Malcom Stewart will be wearing SIDI boots this year and he'll be in their new boot that is a slightly tweaked version AOTJO. I can't comment on the name and what's changed yet, but it will be release soon! - Chase
So I’ve always loved alpinestar boots tried others before sold them and got alpinestar again. And I was always scared to buy the tech 10 boots because of the price so my wife bought them for me for Father’s Day this year and all can say is wow what a boot not sure if I can go back to tech 7 they’re just so comfy and seem to be holding up well. they are a bit hotter then my 7’s were so next pair I might try the vented ones. Awesome videos guys keep them coming!!🤘🏼✊🏼
Man, what a wife?!?!?! You better treat her to something nice for Mothers Day haha. The Tech 10 is a solid boot and stoked to hear you like them. - Chase
I have the Leatt boots. I won’t be getting another pair. Even at the price, I wouldn’t consider them premium. I much liked my OLD tech 8’s over them. Not to mention the ankle pressure and the vague peg and shifting feel, I couldn’t in good conscience recommend them. Even for the price. I mean… the inside ankle pivot screw pulls through the rubber surface that holds it together. “Expensive mid grade boot” at best.

The Gaerne SG-12 has been the best boot I have ever owned. 😎👍🏻🏁

GARNE SG-12 when broken in is far the best overall premium boot PERIOD!
I have SG-10's and I feel the same way. Best boots I've ever owned!
100%%%%%%%% agree
Have a pair of SG-10s that are 15 years old and are still great 😂
Tech 10 definitely very stiff.
(11, my foot is 10.5)
Compared to my SG-12s they have a slightly higher toe box so shifting took me bit of time to readjust to.
Thanks for the feedback, Willy. What you're explaining is something that people won't understand until they ride in pair of Instincts! - Chase
@@rmatvmc yup, same goes for the SG12. If I would have kept them for longer I might have gotten used to it and adjusted either my foot position or the shifter and brake pedal, but as soon as I went back to the instincts, I felt “at home”, haha.

Tech 10 beats all of them. I’ve ridden in everything

I have SG-12 and have no complaints
I absolutely love my tech 10s. I have a pretty bad right ankle and the tech 10 is my absolute favorite of the boots I’ve tried.
Out of all the different boots I have worn over the past 45 years I find the Garnae the most comfortable and very durable.

@@Smitty8869 yeah the same those things hurt my feet really bad The toe box would jam down on your toes.
Nice! The ATOJO have become one of my favorites. Super light feeling and keep the ankle secure really well. Thanks for watching! - Chase
The best comparison video I have ever seen.
Thanks! It was a lot of work but we had fun doing it! Hard to choose with so many good options. Which is your favorite? - Chase
Leatt for the win. For my personal preference, nothing comes close.
GARNE SG-12 takes a long time to break in. I wish they had more range of movement. But they're comfortable and would protect your feet from pretty much anything you throw at them. Overall I rate at 9/10 compared to the Sidi or Alpinestars.
So Gaerne is 9/10 while Sidi and Alpinestars are a 10/10? Or what?
Really enjoyed this style of video, nice work fellas.
I’ve been an Alpine fan for years. This year I’m in the Instinct. Very happy with them

Just got the sg12's yesterday cannot wait to ride again 😍

Bit the bullet yesterday and bought some white sg12!!!! Came to 903$ Canadien... I can’t wait to try them on and give them a try !!!!!!

Big fan of my SG12 boots. My only real complaint is that they could be lighter.

I don’t like how squeaky they are
I have a wide foot and SG 12 are awesome!!

I don't think so.

When you feel everything through the fox boot, i just wonder how safe it is? Sounds like it wouldn’t be very protective when it’s so soft(?)

I have to look down to shift! but they are very cunfy. super soft. I grinded a tab bit of the case saver but I don't want to wearing it too much. still love the tech 5s
The tech 10’s feel really nice just needs time to break in. The padding on the tech 10 is very comfortable.

- Chase
Broke my enkle in a pair of tech10s i want more support around my ankle witch pair i need to take
Where's the Forma Predator 2.0? Awesome boot. Excellent protection. Great fit. Great comfort. Great looks. Excellent craftsmanship. Built in Romania.
Awesome video! Great way to find out whats best for you and what really works! Would be great if you could do this with helmets, jersey/pants, body armour, neck braces, gloves, goggles etc! Good job guys!
Thanks! We do plan to do some others down the road, just not sure what category to do next. Maybe knee braces? - Chase
i have tech 10's and i like almost everything except for how hard it is too get you foot in and my buckles will come undone while riding and the strap falls off (mostly on the bottom one's)
Is there a reason Forma is never mentioned in these reviews?
Maybe they could throw a bender in the rankings ;)
I have the Predator 2.0 and love them. The support is phenomenal. The padding is amazing as well. Plenty of room for POD braces is a plus.
Hi, Ty.
We actually don't sell Forma boots, that is why we don't mention them. - Chase
@@rmatvmc makes sense! Thanks.
I have the sg12. It took several long rides to break them in around the ankle. Very tight at first, I thought I made a big mistake. Once broken in, they feel great. I personally don't like the steel edged toe. It makes for false shifts, I prefer a rounded toe.
I take the steel piece off of mine. I also didn't like the added length and shape of it. It's just some small screws that hold it on. - Chase
Always matter of opinion, tech 10s have always been the best for me.
Great review Chase….loved it. Clearly the best way to review boots. 👍🏼
I appreciate that! Shout out to the guys for being in this video. Wes, Kobee, Chance, and Jayce all did awesome! - Chase
awesome review! love RM! All my stuff comes from RM!
Amazing review. Thanks guys…
I like the Instinct a lot my favorite boots I’ve ever had
Sidi crossfire 3’s, lightest boot I have ever owned. Very flexible and small in size. So no catching ruts
Did you know the new ATOJO is quite a bit lighter?!
Would of loved to see them thrown into the mix as well. Definitely considering them at the moment but I'm super indecisive lol.
Thanks for sharing! I agree that the Tech 10 does feel a bit bulky and you almost think you're wearing a size too big haha. - Chase
What are we going to do about engineed flam out...
I have 2 pairs of T7s. Love, em, like em, used it, abused it.BK819.
Based on the rankings, Alpinestars Tech10 is the best.
I'm still wearing my leather Alpinestars!
thinking about getting another pair.
GAERNE for the win!!
Isn’t the crossfire a more premium boot than the sidi atojo? Should have tested with the sidi crossfire
- Chase
Yea she is the best! And it will be hard for sure to beat that gift.
