- Quite possibly the best way to spend £35,000 on a new hot hatch! The Cupra Leon 2.0 300PS mixes the raw Spanish flair, with the usual (and slight expected) German engineering. Makes for an awesome package!!

This is the coolest looking hot hatch around
Well said : This is a GTI with some flair 🔥
I love the fact you didn't scrap this video due to the rain. This is real life in the UK 👍🏻😊 Really liking this Cupra 😎
Driving in the rain 🌧 is so much fun! Just watching you I can feel your excitement! Great Channel, and a shout out from Calgary, Canada!
Great video, how would you rate the cupra vs your long term focus st from last year?
If your going to be going out looking for a bee hot hatch you should deffo try the megane rs 300 trophy and the Hyundai i30n both cars you don’t see very often on the roads at all
Great drivers cars but how comfortable as a daily vs VAG rivals?
When you moved the hand and the plane just came in 😂😂😂😂
How did you choose the wheel options for your cupra? I don't see it on the website
That fake noise through the speakers sounds terrible.
Great video Paul. The front styling reminds me of the Hyundai i30N!
I've owned a Leon and a Golf, but I'd only go A3 on current generation purely due to the stupid touch panels for things like volume and climate control on VW and Seat!
Sorry to dissapoint but, the A3 has a touch « Button » for the volume as well. That what keeps me from upgrading my A3 for the new one
A3 for me too. Nicer materials inside and out.
@@DenisQS the steering wheel volume control is still there I think? But agree the new VW group infotainment and controls are shite generally
New to this channel I absolutely love it one of the best on here
Alfa Romeo Giulietta QV or veloce 1750 TBI, a gd used alternative to the usual hot hatches
Can you do a pedal cam video Paul. Love to see the footwork.
Can Cupra please come to the US
Are all the cupra leon 300 front wheel drive?
We need the baby blue R8 days back
I know those roads well, some decent B roads around there (in the dry)
Looks like a storm chaser 😂
Must be summer...the rains warming up.
With a spray like an F1 car? Roostertail? :)
It looks a lot like the I30N from the front. I guess copying is the best form of appreciation.
Not sure where you got this car for £35,000 when I was spec'ing one it came to £39,000, the 245hp hybrid version's is more than £35,000.
Think you can get the VZ2 spec for just over this.
@@leefoster8015 Car wow have one for £35,550 in white, I didn't look at specking it which I'm sure would send it over £37,000 but yes it seems you can, when I was looking in March they hadn't come out and I was being quoted around the £39,000 for VZ3 from Cupra dealers, car wow seems to be the way to go if you want one.
@@pillred5974 Yeah I've got one on order for £35200 list on pcp in magnetic grey with a couple services thrown in. The VZ2 is only missing leather and sport/mode buttons on the wheel. Everything else you need is there.
@@leefoster8015 I so nearly bought one but at the time (March) they told me the earliest delivery was July from what I have read I wish I had had the patience to wait but I bought another car, seriously thinking of getting one next year though it's so much more stylish than a Golf and it's nice to have something a bit different than the rest as I reckon they will be a fairly rare sight on the road, hope you enjoy it from what I have read I think you will.
That’s why you get a Matt PPF. Der
Get an AMG A35! Got mine about 2 weeks ago and I bloody love it! Quite a lot of road noise but such good fun
Its a really nice car and good all round. I'd get the Type-R for more driver focus and because it is holding its value like a champ.
And it’s boring.
The Megane RS is definitely the best hot hatch miles ahead of its rivals
Nope that is the Honda Civic Type-R. To beat the Type-R you'd need the £70k one with carbon wheels.
Is it that good, I'm considering an auto trophy or gti clubsport.
@@shaunsimpson9902 that’s a hard one because the clubsport is a very a good car too , I think I still would take the Megane because of the four wheel steering 👌🏽
Can’t get that colour in Britain though😕
Isn't it a Seat?
Compare it with a35, m135, s3
Hyundai i30N Performance - excellent price value hot hatch and not many cars on street.
But the cupra is better 🥵🔥🔥
Oh my gosh... Kick all this "Burn my Mony " Things away ,and then sign the Insurence Contract for Diavel with a Italian SportscarbrandwhichisnotAlfa !
looks like a i30 N
Not into the shouty design of this car. The bronze logos in particular really put me off.
Wish it has AWD 😊
I’d pick that over the ugly MK8 Golf any day 👌🏼. The MK7 is far better looking
So we all agree the the older version is better
Not a fan of the Golf or any golf. Boring looking. They're getting a bit like the ford focus /fiestas of the world.
I'd go for a Toyota gt86 and get it supercharged
It's not 35k though is it.... more like 40 for that actual car. That's a problem as it has a fukton of competition.
Un inglés probando un coche español
Cupra and £35000 shouldn’t be in the same sentence.
But you drive a shithouse scooby 🤷🏻♂️😂
blue + copper no no no no. Red and copper yes yes yea
Needs a poll. Golf or this.
The Cupra not this 👋👋✌️
RS3

Try to keep focus with your subject matter...when you drift from your subject, the picture becomes unclear. Prep knowledge/facts about the car & manufacturer, it will lessen the urge to comment on weather. Keep the vid about the car
Problem is another 5k and you could have the new golf R which would out preform it in all areas
Can get a Type-R that is faster on a track, better to drive and holds its value like a boss.
And if I don't want to spend £5k more?
@@DanRyzESPUK lol most people that can afford to pay 35k for a hot hatch can afford another 5k
Except its been found that the Cupra outperforms the Golf R in all areas....
@@lippygames4907 The Type-R smokes them all and has crazy used prices. Year old cars with 12k miles are still msrp.
35k and fake sound just no!!
Looks so big like an SUV
Fake sound!
why are you shouting ?
To many hot hatches looking the same these days, Type r for me everyday.
This car suits Paul, it’s cheap and plasticky while trying to be something it’s not and failing miserably...
