Rim of Africa Treverse 2 - Kouebokkeveld mountains

An epic 7-day journey that took a group of hikers through South Africa's remote Kouebokkeveld mountains in the Western Cape of South Africa, taking place this past October 2023 on the Rim of Africa Traverse 2.
Our journey covered 60km of dramatic landscape across steep, technical terrain, over towering peaks reminiscent of the incredible Drakensberg. We marveled at the area's hidden gems, including surreal rock formations, recalling the Magaliesberg, secret caves and nonstop views that stretched endlessly to the horizon.
