  • BOMB AND PELLET FISHING SESSION - WINTER CARP ON A NEW VENUE - CARP FISHING WITH PELLETS - ROB WOOTTON.
    Bomb and pellet fishing is great way to approach a new venue in winter. I visit a new venue for me, Phoebe’s farm. A small lake that's home to plenty of carp, the perfect place to visit in winter for a few bites.

    Hi Rob
    Just want to start by saying a massive thank you for all your videos
    I’ve got back into fishing after 20 odd years and your videos have helped so much
    I live in Doncaster and I can’t believe the amount of ponds I can now go and fish
    Will be putting your techniques into action
    I don’t suppose you do tutoring?
    Would be great to learn more

    Hi Rob, now it interesting that the short hooklength produced for you. I made the switch to short hooklengths about 15 years ago after some lessons learnt canal carping. These have been confirmed by Rob Hughes's underwater films for Matrix and others showing what really happens underwater and as a result i only use long hooklengths on flowing water or for pop up presentations or sometimes for a balanced bait over heavy weed. Joe told me you have had some good chub sessions recently so i hope you will publish a video or two on that and health permitting i would love for you both to join me on some small stream fishing before the close of the season. Kindest regards and stay safe and well Bill

      Nice to hear to hear you thinking about going fishing again Bill, we’ll try our best to get out for a day. Yep I’ve got a video for this Saturday that’s all about creeping around a tiny river chubbing .... brilliant fun

    Nice informative little video Rob, but I did notice your 'agricultural' method of reel control. Not the clutch, not backwind but something else! Interesting!

    • @RobWootton
      @RobWootton  3 роки тому +1

      cheers Brin, I use a bit of both and also control the reel with my finger on the rotor

      Cold ?? It's been mega mild so far this year .
      Great video , do you think pellet cone would work at all ?

  • @brianwelbourne9896
    @brianwelbourne9896 3 роки тому

    So why not use a small feeder and at what time would you cease using a feeder at all?

    • @RobWootton
      @RobWootton  3 роки тому

      Creating a bit of noise is good and also bigger particles like 8mms don’t create a fine carpet of bait
