We like watching all the stuff you do because most of us don’t have a homestead and big equipment. So it’s cool to watch. I also watch guys do lawn work. I’m glad they speed up the video though. That would be boring watching it in real time. 😂

When you load your concrete, space them with 2x4's between them, then you can unload them with chains and the excavator. I owned a tow truck operation for 30 years, and learned to do many tasks with chains. K.

Great video. Love the day to day stuff on the homestead. A good cleanup is always rewarding and makes you feel like you have accomplished something. Daniel, I'm sure you could find you some square steel or iron pipe fornyou to put in them square holes on the side of your dump trailer. $102.00 not too bad for scrap trash. Better than nothing. Take care. Love you all ❤

We like to see the progress on the pond. Showing the reality of the process is a good thing. This big of a project isn't completed over night and it does take lots of effort. Those who think otherwise need to see the truth of the work.

I would think you could spray the inside of your dump trailer with a solution of Dawn with water in a garden pump sprayer to allow the wet mud to slide out easier.
I didn't know the fawns were still nursing this late in the year. Glad your truck was able to pull the trailer out full of mud. Just in case at least you know it will work.
Loved watching that Mama deer feeding her baby. Such a special experience.

Yes recycle those concrete slabs for your pond and boat ramp! Make a video of how you did it! If you need more, you can always ask the highway construction crew where you can pick some slabs. I don't mind watching you work, so keep those videos coming!

I'm a truck driver and when I lived in California, I hauled biosolids and with our new dump trailers we will take cans of spam and spray on the inside that way it would just slide out you might try it with that I'm sure that that would slide right out with a can of a few cans of spam sprayed..
Can’t say it will work but since you need to move dirt. Throw a layer of dry dirt in first then the mud in top. Should help it dump and not stick.

My son was doing scrapping for a while with his friends. They used their pickup trucks.

Daniel, you may have burned your chicken but you're excellent using that equipment to pick up the metal. You turned a huge metal round pond into a metal pole within seconds. Looks great after getting rid of all the junk. Have a great day 😊

I like the pond work. Watching it slowly but surely getting fixed ready for bass. In time.
I do not go to the junk yard any more. I get a container and have them come for it. Every time I go there I end up with a flat on the truck or trailer. $300 plus for a tire is more than the dumpster... They have track vehicles and do not clean up the drive way.
I'm a Cummins guy but regardless, that Duramaxx wasn't even working to haul the full trailer, barely sneezed at it. It doesn't change the fact that the tractor is just better suited for the job.
I looked at those dump trailers, there are definitely some different options for what someone needs. I don't think the cost is too bad at all, spec'd yours but 3ft walls and $10k I feel is reasonable. Much better option than buying a used dump truck and way cheaper plus better maneuvering.

Snow Shovels use a slippery spay to coat the blade so that the sticky wet snow slides off. Maybe you use a surface substance on a clean surface so the mud comes off the dump trailer bed.

Traigers us a fan to cool off. If you leave the lid open, the fan introduces more air flow that can cause a flair up. There is a reason the instructions tell you to close the lid.
a tip for you if you spray your trailer with cooking oil before loding it with mud it will slide right out with out it sticking

Set the high idle on you truck or tractor while you're dumping the trailer. It will be less work for the hydrolics on the trailer.
I don't like hunting in the heat so many parasites can be on the animals still but the seasons now. we used to try and wait till first frost. season might be over before first frost.

A couple of chains on the palettes of block could change the “thumb lift”
I think the 3-point hitch adapter will work well. If not already suggested!
Put dry under the wet and it will dump out easy that’s how we do the dump truck

You got enough money to cover your gas or diesel for the junk. You did pretty good for no more than you had.
We are getting some much needed thunderstorms here in southern Michigan. We had a burn ban for the last couple weeks, been too dry. Farmers are out getting crops off & the dust is horrible.

If you add some of that dryer dirt on the bottom of your dump trailer, that can somewhat protect the trailer from the concrete loading/unloading.
Might want to wash the trailer, and spray it with a coat of Teflon spray. You should be able to retire your rake afterword. I did it with my mower deck, and never had to scrape it again. K.
