Ripping out the temp drain to start filling the dam with clay!
When Chris is done with everything that beaver will invite all his friends over to show what an awesome dam builder he is taking all the credit for Chris’s work!
@Pogimo68:
And when the beaver's buddies tell him: "prove it"?!?!
🤣😁
Then the beaver will ring Chris up.
good morning brother, have nice day job thank for sharing
I had hip surgery last week. I’ve been sitting here all week watching this project and loving every minute of it. I live in Southern California and it’s making me want to move out of state and buy me an excavator and a dump truck and just have fun and play lol great work on your videography work
Well now I know what to look forward to my hip surgery hasn’t been scheduled yet but I’m not sure about this foolishness.
I was in the hospital for 2 weeks in 2008, all I could do was sleep & hurt, that gets boring real quick.
@@dirtfarmer7472 honestly my hip surgery was a breeze. I had it done with robotics. It’s been a week and I’m walking without a cane not for long but every day it gets better good luck on your surgery.
@@harpospest
Thank you Sir for the encouragement, I’m still not looking forward to it but I’ve been through worse.
I bought a smaller one (not one of those cheap Chinese ones) after I retired and I play with it at least once a week not to mention help out the neighbors when needed
Hips are easier to get over than knees. Rehab for hips is mostly get up and use it. Progress seems to come in little jumps as today I can't move it that far and now I can. My hip had lumps of arthritis that made sitting like sitting on a golf ball. That's gone now and I'm almost a year out now and wouldn't go back.
The Pond damn is almost finished and I can't wait to see the old damn removed and tons of water gushing into the rest of the pond.
Chris is lucky to have a property owner who's willing to assist him when needed like putting the overflow structure in place.
realy good to see brother
Great job. It is now looking more like a dam.
Renoviction for the beavers. Maybe if they waited to see what you're doing, they'll appreciate your efforts. After all, a 10-12 foot dam is better than a 2-3 foot one. Progress is going well.
Chris can push water uphill.
He is magic.
Great efforts you made Chris. I wish you and all the guys on the screen a NICE WEEKEND!
🇨🇦Thanks. Back at ya. Our Thanksgiving Weekend.🦃
@@BobcagonI ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO CHRIS ❤😊
This is going to be a very nice pond when Chris gets done and the owner helping out is awesome. Stay safe.
Another profitable day of work . Nice to see the progress.
We can see what it is actually gonna look like now Chris, I know that clay is packed good when you can hardly lift it with the 220, beautiful seal on the overflow, be well guys.
You should borrow Uncle John’s ‘Long Reach’ to clean up the stick mess without sinking!
Lot's of progress today Chris it look's much better with all the vegetation knocked down and buried. 👌
Happy Thanksgiving to all the Canadian viewers!
Great build Chris! You do amazing work and your clients are proud to say you have worked on their projects 🙂
That beaver is probably watching you... back a few videos ago... you started to dig out the channel again and the beaver was right at the edge of the opening in the beaver dam. You could see his head sticking up and when you started working you could see him duck under the water. I'll look and see which video it was and the time when I have a chance. You can see the beavers head on this video... 'A Bigger Volvo 30 Ton Truck Shows Up For This Job!' at 3:18
That’ll be good to see
I had to google what beaver's 'little hands' look like 🤣
Sorry I'm not interested
@@randycharest4507 that's your prerogative.
You certainly do a great job. Huge task. Thank you for your expertise! God bless you and keep you safe.
I love the fact that the beavers keep coming back. Hopefully all this construction won't scare them away permanently, and they will build a little house in the finished pond.
they have a tendency to dig burrows into the bank and causing repeated call to Chris to fill them back in.
This was a fun one, Chris. Great progress was made. I didn't realize it was this long, felt like 20 min (I really enjoy your longer videos). Glad Brian made it out with the Argo, he sure was out there aways. Thanks for sharing, looking forward to the next installment.
The beavers are probably thinking………We need an excavator!!!
thanks for all your hard work and filming so we can enjoy your pond building..
I’ve been a big fan for several years, back when you were doing beaver dams and small jobs with your uncle. I’m 69 now and finally had enough work to justify renting an excavator. I’ve never run one before, but wanted to. So, I rented a Bobcat E32 and have been using it for 5 days. I must say that the Bobcat Mini-excavators do not run as smooth as your Volvos do! It has to be the machine, right? Although, it seems to be running smoother than it did on the first day. Chris, what you can do with an excavator is amazing!
It's fascinating to see how the land transformation takes shape step by step...
Chris is very good at the details on a job. He knows the dirt types he has to use and were to place them.
My buddy has a piece of land up here in Ontario and the beavers over the years have built a 20' high dam on the creek and flooded over 5 acres. They must hate the sound of running water.
they actually are attracted to running water noise
@@ronblack7870they want to go fix it! Lol!
Nice video Chris, the pond is looking better and better.
@letsdig18 Chris: You show such great dexterity with the excavator especially when maneuvering the risers. If you ever want to take up a flying hobby, you'd transition quickly to helicopters. Maybe a Cabri G2 or a Robinson R22 for starters. If nothing else, treat yourself to a introductory lesson. There are some great UA-camrs out there flying choppers. @CleetusM @PilotYellow @HeavyDSparks are 3 of my favorites.
My first heavy equipment video was you rescuing that backhoe sunk in the lake. Don’t be afraid to sink one of your own, it’s just making more content!
It’s really cool to see the engineering of the bucket. Seeing the wear of paint shows exactly why you need wear surfaces.
I’m Amazed at how Close you can get that Dozer Blade to the Concrete Overflow. 🤔👍
@kens3729:
All Chris has to do is make sure he doesn't strike the concrete with any part of whatever equipment he's using at the moment.
😮
good pond video
While the other types of work you do is interesting, my favorite is always watching you build ponds and their dams.
Since you are not getting rid of all those little satcks that the beavers gathered, hopefully at the end of all the construction, they will be back to re-establish their home again.the pond dam is looking really better than it had been, and NOW has the Chris Touch.
U needed Robert on this job Nice dam built..
Looks great. Never get tired of watching you run that equipment. Thanks for taking me with you.
Good work team ,looking real good ,I think Brian may like driving the dump truck
🤣🤣. Your Such An Artist…. With Heavy Equipment!!!! Your PAINTBRUSH is AMAZING!!!! Such a God Given Talent, seeing Forest from the trees!!!!
Looking good for sure, that will make that whole area pleasant looking now once the pond fills. Your beaver buddies our not going to be happy with you, but I’m sure they will find someplace else to go. Thanks for the update, enjoyed watching.
I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO CHRIS ❤😊
Imagine the beavers suprise when he wakes up to the pond being 15' deep.
Good job Chris
Love the job your doing excelent , Chris , your the Master at whate you do.
Must be some good flow into the pond as its easy to see the change in the water level in the background when the dump truck is being filled
Looking good Chris !! You’re making a lot of progress
Mr Beaver is gonna have to find a new neighborhood to move to
@philipberry2704:
Or Mr. Beaver can just "retire", and enjoy Chris' handiwork.
🙂
@@daleallen7634 ole mr beaver just got to Understand that Chris is the man in charge the pond belongs to him and not ole man beaver 🦫🤣🤣🤣
Chris you showed how a real dam is made. Concrete and clay.
There are going to be many more months before this pond is filled.
Good evening Chris. You could rig up a pressure washer to your trailer, especially on a job like this where you have lots of water handy. Beats the heck out of shoveling tracks! Have a great week and thanks for your all your hard work, videoing, narrating and editing.
The time lapse is so good!
Wow, doubt concrete would be more solid that that clay!!
You need to set a 330 Conibear trap in that narrow channel an open a B&B in the property, ( Buzzard Buffet).
That overflow looks amazing…I know it took a while to get to this stage but man it looks good!!
Yes you did make a great deal of progress. Dam looks great. Chris 2, Beavers 0!
Hope you find clay tomorrow to completely finish. Good video. Have a good evening Chris.
What a project.
Love watching that little Yanmar work. I have an old Yanmar tractor and the dang thing honestly punches above its weight!
Roots = Natures Rebar :)
Unlike a human, a beaver doesn’t think of itself as a victim of circumstances. it just continues on because it has a job to perform.
I could use a couple of scoops of dirt to level my back yard, the 350 would get it done in no time lol. It's a great machine. I'm surprised about how much red clay you were able to find for the core. On a positive note, I'm happy you were able to use it to your advantage and fix the dam the right way. So many people think you can just push some dirt around and call it good but you really have shown that you need the right stuff to do a outstanding job.
Excellent work. your vision for a job is unbelievable
Chris, you do one hell of a job!!! I can't think of anyone who can hold a candle to you. A true master at your job it looks beautiful only if you had more of that good clay. Hopefully, you get good clay from the old pond dam, you don't know until it's too late. I hope you the best with that. God bless you, Chris, and thanks for sharing the videos with me, Chris 🎉🎉🎉
Really quite amazing how packed that clay will get with a little weight applied!
You should install a few cameras with battery pacs and record beaver action.
I’d like to see Chris do chapters on his videos
College football and Chris what a beautiful Saturday afternoon!!
Hi Chris it's great to see the progress on the dam. It's really taking shape, great job.
It's coming along nicely.
How good is this pond renovation . The Master at work.
Those little trees are shrub willows- they will take over the pond bank if you let them!
Yep looks to be coming along well bro and looking forward to see you break through that dam. Safe travels. Ken.
Good job mate taking shape
Wish I had the $$ …. To make my Dreams come true true!!!! TY. For Sharing your Talents!!!!
Perfect Work the Overflow Part to put together. The Dam Hole fill on and make firm. The Beaver Dam have You to destroy and beginning Morning with the Pond New to building. However a Interesting Video. Thanks.
The 220 sounds like it could use a good grease’n.
Cool the way this job is coming together.
Nice work Chris!!💪🤗🇺🇸
Always very interesting Chris keep up the great work 🦘
Bots are on 110% today 😂 Good evening from Germany 🇩🇪
Enjoyed it as always
Chris you probably look good in a beaver hat!!!
Whenever Chris shows up the land is transformed into what will become!!!
Fascinating stuff, thanks for posting this.
If you have a spirit animal, it’s definitely beaver.
Bet that Beaver is real pissed now LOL
🦫🦫🦫🦫🦫😂😂😂😂😂
😂
Pissed ain't the word...I bet the Beavers are doing some midnight shopping at Home Depot for some power tool's now....
Beaver is off at the local bar telling his buddies about the giant monster that trashed his home, and they’re going, “Yeah, sure”.
@@katschs3965 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
More drone shot while your working could let us see the progress
I am surprised you aren't drieging out the pond as well 😊
Mud hole really taking shape😊😊😊pp
❤️ “Big Girl” dump truck
Chris do you ever get to see beavers (the furry four legged variety) when your excavating. Great video again. Thanks Jim UK
Coming along nicely. Hunt the clay might be your next fun move.
Great Job Chris
Chris now your 🦫 ING on getting this dam 🦫 filled in getting layers in and rolled 🗞️ like the camera action on Volvo dump truck it must be satisfying seeing this job coming on with help with Brian today good luck 🤞👍
Hey Chris, When You Were Taking The Gumbo Out Of The Bottom Of The Pond, Do You Fill It Back In, Or Leave It As Fish Habitat?? Later Brother, Have A "Great" Weekend!! Peace Out!!
Could you make playlist for each of your projects going forward.. I think have a handful of projects going and I get lost.
so that's going to be a fairly deep pond, all those stumps are the best fish habitat
I guess this is one project that we will be able to see come to completion. May not be on this channel…😁
The neighbors pond is going to be a good place for the beaver refugees.
Beaver are such cute, fuzzy little creatures................... Until you become a pond owner.
Looks great man!
Chris, you must do alot of editing to cutout all thoughs Military 🚁 🚁🚁 👍🏼 p.s. I saw the other channels. 😊
Hi Chris, I was wondering why you build these overflows with the pipe so low in the dam rather than putting the box higher up the dam wall without the extra sections on top?
You are living the dream. ,you make it look so easy,WVa
Amazing as always!! your work is impeccable!!
Great job 👍🏻 starting to look great love how you said I’m going down love how you said I don’t know where to put the dirt love how you cal😢the 350 big girl and it would have been nice to see you rake out where the pipe was love how the water fell off the roof of the 350 love the noise the dump truck made when you stopped love how the home owner said right on the money and that the second box had the hooks on the outside love how you said mushy mushy love how you didn’t fish saying dump would have love to see you take down the trees
Good job again Chris.
