0:35 ...that FISHER SPACE PEN is selling for *$85* on Canadian Amazon. was released in Nov. 16 2022 I just bought the military style and 3 refills for over $85 cad HOPING it's worth all the hype..LOL 9:36...The PILOT G2 was introduced to USA in 1998 (25 yrs ago) The *BIC* Gelocity Gel pen & *Zebra* Sarasa Dry 20x & *Pentel* Energel liquid Gel pen are my replacements for the Pilot G2 12:02 ...I am dissappointed in the Sharpie SGel pens, they skip too much. I am surprised yours doesn't skip.
I've also been using the Lamy 2K with the Jaymo refill lately. Also I've been using the Faber Castel Hexo fountain pen, and a Cross rollerball with the buttery smooth porous-point felt tip refill.
Same here...I've been a journaller , day planner for over 40 yrs easily, and recently I came across *Unsharpen UA-cam Channel* Videos, and the Pen and Ink Bug, bit me really good. I use to use 3 brands of pens only ( Calligraphy, fountain ,Sharpie brand & Ballpoint ), but recently in the past couple of months, I've bought over 25 brands of pens (Ball point, Rollers and Gel Pens) and spent a whooping $400 on a variety of brands and pen names and I am still looking for more to experiment with. This is a fun , relaxing adventure , that I am learning lots about from Unsharpen and other Pen and Ink UA-camrs.
I've collected good writing pens on and off for about 10 years or so. Besides the Fisher Space pen (which I constantly seem to lose), I have been fond of the Itoya Xenon XE 1mm with black ink!!! They cost between $4-$7 and write smoothly, lasting a long time! Wish you would test it against your favorites in an future video!! I think this pen is under-rated!!!
Hey man with it being a new year which review of yours can you point me to for a buy it for life pen? I’ve been looking at the Fischer space matte black mini pen, but don’t know if it falls under that category.
Yeah, any Fisher Space Pen would be my pick here. Personally I like the Clutch ( unsharpen.com/pen/fisher-space-pen-clutch/ ) and AG7, but they have many options which have a lifetime warranty and are made to last.
@@unsharpen Thanks man, on a side note everyone keeps saying the the fine point refills are much better, and go figure every pen comes with the medium. Basically if that holds true then every pen is really another ten dollars. Kind of shitty.
I have two complaints about my Lamy 2000 ballpoint. (1) I am always troubled by how my fingertips dislike the separation point. The pen would be much more comfortable if the barrel separated elsewhere. (2) I've never been entirely happy with M16 refills. Regardless of point or ink color, none feels smooth to me. I've been happiest with Fisher Space Pen refills in medium or broad.
Honestly, minimal. I have moments where it's not bad, but it's using a fountain pen and requiring concentration (and no camera in front of me). Thanks for asking.
There is a huge problem with your video, I see an excess of ballpoints, rollerballs, gel pens and those things and not one single fountain pen. Having a Lamy 2000 rollerball instead of FP just sounds heretic, almost like a vegan plant based steak instead of the actual thing.

I like the Pilot G2 1.0 , I also like the 0.7. Another I’m not seeing here is the Pentel EnerGel 1.0 and 0.7

I use a Pilot Metropolitan body for my Pilot G2 refills.
Yea I have the same setup as well with an old metro rollerball. I get a little tired of the big step at the cap

have you tried the bic crystal exact? they cost around 0.50$ each and write really nice
