The retreat looked amazing. Abahkan Shrewsbury is quite small but can find a few bargains. I've never noticed tula in the Liverpool branch but will keep my eye out now 😊

Love seeing the clothes you made. I think I will try the hack on the Kai to make Charlie a mock turtle neck. Good for you in staying in the moment at retreat.
Oh it’s super comfy! I have a couple now and I’ve sized up a size with a slightly larger seam allowance with the Kai on French terry and sweatshirting to make a simple hemmed sweatshirt version too, love Sinclair basics
Your kit and bag look fab, and I am glad you had such a lovely time. Coincidentally I am just making a Gilbert Shirt from a lovely Tana Lawn for a work trip I am going on. Also just finished a massive overnight bag - Luskentyre by Lauren Guthrie. It has a buckram base and woven interfacing but it softer overall than yours so I can easily fold into a bigger suitcase and then use for a day away. 😊

When I make a raglan, I lay it out 'in the flat' then mark each seam with different coloured pins. Works for me 😊👍
