This outside setting is so cute! I like your basement set up, but this is so nice to be outside for one of your episodes, especially the 75th episode! Congratulations for getting to 75. Of course more to come! 1 song per album?! No matter what album, that’s tough to do. Andrew Paul, your mind must’ve been like, “which song?!? Which song do I pick?!” Cuz I mean, something like a Britney Spears album. No way I’d be able to pick just 1 song. I appreciate that you add clips for reference. Bummer about the rain, but it sets the mood! 🤘🏼😆 Top 10 is impossible to do, but y’all did it. It’s cool to watch 2 people who are passionate about music, talk about music together. Andrew did have a tough time picking one song per album. He now appreciates how difficult this often is for me. I would have liked to have stayed outside. We were filming at my friend Mike's house in his backyard, so when we went inside we just set up the green screen and projected the usual background. It added some fun, unplanned comedy. "Creeping Death" is simply the greatest heavy metal song ever recorded. And I'm saying that as someone who isn't a huge Metallica fan. I really like their first three albums, but that's about it. I'm more of an Iron Maiden fan (first seven albums; the following five were okay; after that, they bore me).
''Creeping Death'' was so close to making my list, but I didn't want to have too much overrun with my guest. He shared his list with me and I didn't with him, so it give me some time to adjust if need be. Thankfully, the only major overrun we had was ''Orion''. I'm totally with you on the first three Metallica albums, though I do really like some of the later albums, but they were a slower burn for me. I'm also with you on the first seven Iron Maiden albums. I did an Iron Maiden show sometime last year, 2023, and there should be another one of these days (cue Brother Theodore shouting "ONE OF THESE DAYS!"). Thanks for watching. Your friend, Brett Strong
