@@solorpgguy Thank you for the multi-part description of this game. I own Coriolis The Third Horizon by Free League. Many of the gaming concepts are similar. I'm not sure I want to manage action resources and dice pool tricks at this juncture in my Solo playing «career». I'll keep relying on the 5e Tool Box for now.
@@marccaron6008 Although I don't usually do scifi RPG's, (although I like scifi movies and such), if I was to do a scifi rpg, Coriolis is at the top of my list.
Just like the others have said, “Great video”. It’s nice and clear and I love the way a story starts to develop out of random rolls. I’m really looking forward to seeing where this goes.
Perhaps instead of erasing the sixth door, just say it's a door that can't be opened by the party currently. It has some kind of powerful magical ward on it that can't be opened until your party is stronger, but the door looks like someone powerful left it locked with powerful magicks thus indicating there may be great wealth and adventure beyond it. However, your brave adventurers have to go get a stronger party and amass some experience before they can successfully unlock the sixth door. Not every decision has to be made with a random roll. Wherever the imagination takes you, let it get you there.
Great video. Starting like this makes it seem l less overwhelming. Maybe the extra door is a cave in area. Might be able to use that to revisit the area later one
Maybe that is why the stronghold had diminished resources......some type of nasty creatures took over the mines......Thanks for the input.... you are Dm'ing via youtube...lol
I love those solo rpg channels but they tend to ramble a lot....this video was more concise and to the point
Thanks. I try. I don't like those that ramble either.
I really like, your approach and appreciate this video
Absolutely great vídeo and indicativos!
Great video!!!!! Thank you my friend, for your time, patience and effort! Very helpfull and crystal clear. :)

Great video! You sold me on Forbidden Lands! I was on the fence.
You can look at the earlier vids it did where I reviewed Forbidden Lands. Lots of info there.

I was fortunate enough to do a 8 session mini-campaign of Coriolis with 3 players. I'm thinking maybe I'll do a Coriolis solo game next.
@@marccaron6008 do you have an example of how to use the 5e Toolbox?

Good idea.
Use ironsworn oracle's and dungeons world perilous wilds. Pen, paper and dice. Honestly all you need.
Having played both, I can definitely see it.

Enjoyed this.. quick question.. what resource(s) did you use for your random dungeon generation?
Although Forbidden Lands has a Dungeon Generator, I used the list in the Table Fables II book....see my previous vid on it.
