- Each Skylanders game release figures in waves, in order to spread out the games lifespan. In this video I cover every single release wvaes and give my opinions on them!

I feel like Trap teams dark and light elements we’re butchered completely just because they were released in later waves and drowned in other less popular skylanders tho personally I like blastermind
I remember waiting for the ability breakdown video for double dare trigger happy from a yter i watched back then, only for him to never make one, because he was so rare in Germany. I remember searching for days about an abilities video for him, snd not being able to find one
To this day I’m still upset that I once saw spotlight at a Best Buy with my brother, we wanted it so bad but we were with our neighbor who was babysitting us so we didn’t want to ask for it. Even worse I had $20 my grandma gave me, but I left it at home cuz I thought we’d spend the day at the neighbors house. And then years later it became really rare. Youch!
I always thought the waves were kind of weird because a lot of later wave skylanders were kind of forgotten and pushed aside.
I remember Wild Storm's release being pretty interesting. IIRC he was supposed to release mid-march, but they posted a statement saying a warehouse/port they needed for distribution had flooded, so the release was delayed about a month in most areas.

I won't ever forget the time I bought a giant lot of in box inaginators stuff including an In Box wildstorm adventure pack for 50 dollars.
Im still so glad i got wildstorm on release. Getting him today would be a nightmare. Kinda like starcast
This was a really interesting video, I think a follow up where you do include reposes, variants, and other specific packs would be really good but as it stands this is still pretty great.
I hate that freeze blade and trap shadow are in wave 4, I want them but they are expensive

24:32 I can’t tell you for an objective fact that is a lie. I got Kaos a day or so after the game came out, just him and a light creation crystal. My brother already had the game so that’s how I played it at first. I still have the box and everything.
The only time I’ve ever seen Kaos in stores was in GameStop and it’s the one I owns it was the only Kaos there. I almost got Krankcase but I figured Kaos would be more expensive later on so I got him instead. (Still don’t have Krankcase though, I have Robow, Wild Storm, but not the Dr.)
Should do a video on why boom bloom has the life symbol instead of the ninja symbol

I’m pretty sure Wave 2 of Trap Team came out same day as Wave 1. That or my local Toys R Us just went screw it and put em on the shelf with everything else lol.
Plus if I remember correctly Superchargers Wave 2 was meant to do the same thing but ended up being delayed due to the whole Nightfall Incident (none of the Nightfall figures worked at launch and they had to recall the whole wave to fix it) I remember this mainly bc High Volt was my favorite Supercharger by far and I really wanted him day 1.

14:46 I think I got Gear Shift the same day as the starter pack back when it first came out so I mean.. at least I’m pretty certain she was wave 1
In Toys R US in Spain you could get her with the starter pack if you pre-ordered it, so yeah, checks out
She was in the opening cutscene of Trap Team as well
If I remember correctly she was supposed to be a preorder bonus that would be only sold separately in like Wave 4 or 5. But then every store just kinda put her on the shelves with Wave 1 anyway lol

There was nothing to promote these waves much. Thunderbolt, I always forget, but I know who wildfire is.
