    Oh, Happy (belated) Birthday! 🎉
I 100% agree that whatever exercise you do, should be healthy AND enjoyable first. It can be rather difficult to stop running, but I think it's part of of the process to learn that not running for a few weeks is not the end of the world, even if you normally enjoy it. I hope your knee will get better and better and allows you to run painfree again soon! 💪

Good to hear the break has helped with your recovery, keep listening to your body, you'll be back when your ready to be. I've found that if I do the miles I used to, then my injuries reappear, so I've recently kept my mileage low & concentrated on enjoying every run I do, it's important to laugh & smile when we're out on the trails 😀🏃

Taking the time you need is the most important thing to heal up so you can get back to feeling good doing what you love. Hope your knee feels back to normal soon!

Dealing with some ankle discomfort, so have been doing almost no running over the past 7 weeks and instead have been concentrating on strength and mobility training. Scheduled to start a new (running) training plan next week, hoping it goes well. Just signed up for a trail race in May. And, happy birthday! Looking forward to where you are next March 6th.

Hey dude, thanks for the honest update. You're actually one of the UA-camrs who motivated me to start my own channel. Keep up the good work and come back stronger!

@@ThePlantPoweredRunner Hey David! Thanks for asking. The short answer is it's going really well. The slightly longer version: Just completed my 7th week back from the shin splints injury I had in Dec/Jan. The first few weeks were very frustrating as I struggled with pace and keeping the HR down. But things have got much better since. I've averaged 50 miles a week for the last 5 weeks and I'm slowly increasing volume again. My pace at MAF has also improved a lot, pretty much back to where I was pre-shin splints and maybe even a little better. I'm consistently running sub 5:20 /km well within my MAF. I've run about 4 HMs since the injury and my slowest time has been 1hr53m.
Currently training for a HM TT on 22 May. I put together my own plan and so far so good but I've only just started the second week. Once a week I have a workout where I'll run a portion of a run above MAF, mostly Z3 and occasionally Z4.
How are things with you? I see you're still some time away from getting back to running (and yes, I know how hard walking 10km is!! I did that when I was injured end last year to hit my mileage goal for 2020. Wasn't pretty but got it done!

Thank you so much! I will be back but likely at a slower rate of video production. I will make an announcement on this in the near future.
