I LOVE AMOUAGE GOLD MAN!!! I just got this 2 weeks ago. It is such a regal but polarizing fragrance. Challenging yet very comforting and very deep and very rich. Longevity great. I love the implementation of animal notes, flower, musk, and ambers. This I can only wear when dressed in sportcoat or black suit. It is kind of have a similar structure as dyptique Oud Palao. That is a great bombastic and unbelievable fragrance just like gold man.
Wow, fantastic description of this masterpiece. I love wearing it at home for my personal enjoyment about 10 times a year. I haven’t worn suit for the last couple of years at all) This is Regal scent. I absolutely love the opening and heart of this fragrance, the dry down is a bit challenging. Oud Palao probably is the beast value for money Oud fragrance that you can find in niche fragrances shops. I have Blessing Silence by The House of Oud and it has a lot of similarities with Oud Palao, but I’d say a bit smoother and a bit less animalic.
I have 17 Amouge perfumes including a few women’s, but I just couldn’t get past the opening of Gold man to include it in my collection but a lot of people love it.
Recently bought Jubiliation XXV and it arrived an hour ago. So far i mostly get a very pronounced smokey incense vibe that reminds me alot of Laboritorio Olfattivo's VANAGLORIA. I get no orange or blackberry, but my nose may have been ruined by too many years of smoking [quit 20 years ago]. I do get a strong sense that the drydown is going to be magnifique. While it's still early, if I could think of one word to describe it, it would be majestic.
I just bought Memoir blindly, so happy I made a good choice, on paper it sounded right up my alley. Blind buying for me is half the fun of collecting and I have only gone wrong a handful of times.
Finally arrived and I am amazed with first sniff and in love with 10 minutes, that not happen very often, thank you. I really appreciate your work I am so happy I buy this for my 50th birthday arrives few days latter but I will enjoy and Is the perfect perfum for this year in my life.
In the dried down is like under my skin from Franchesca Bianchi I can say like 90% I will never imagined with that glorious opening that will end like under my skin at list in my body and I love it little more sweet but absolutely in that direction. Beautiful. I Love my Bianchi I only have three and I love them
That’s an interesting comparison. Tried Under my skin only once on the blotter in Naples 🇮🇹 In the opening it didn’t reminded us of Lyric Woman. Unfortunately, we haven’t Francesca Bianchi fragrances in our country. We would like to try them all. We think Lyric is an amazing, complex fragrance 👌 Have a great weekend ☀️
I’ve tried it once on a blotter and it’s very good. But I think that I don’t need one more Interlude bottle in my collection, because my bottle of original Interlude is a beast, 2 sprays and I’m on a long journey) After 7 hours after spraying it on my wrist, it feels so powerful like I’ve just sprayed it. Hello, thank you for appreciating our reviews 😊 If you can, try Lyric Woman before buying. We both love that fragrance, but for some people it is too dark and spicy rose. Actually, we like it a lot more than Lyric Man. Musk Oud is gorgeous, but it is completely different from Lyric Woman. If you want fragrance that smells like jasmine flower, we’d recommend trying Jasmine de Pays from Perris Monte Carlo. I really love Al-Khatt from Xerjoff, it’s barnyard Oud with beautiful jasmine sambac and vanilla - together smells very opulent and awesome (for skanky Oud lovers). I have and love Ceylon from Xerjoff, it has Jasmine Sambac, but it’s Oud dominant fragrance. Ceylon is very expensive, but I love that so much, that I’ve bought a bottle. It’s has a very deep smell, that transforms beautifully, when you take a long sniff 😃 At first I smell skanky Oud and then amazing ceylon tea with bergamot and jasmine sambac. I love also Oud Maximus Autumn’19 by Bortnikoff, it has Jasmine Sambac, but it’s more Rose Oud combo with citruses, exotic flowers and animalic notes.
We also love all these notes. If you like incense and rose with spices try Majda Bekkali Mon Nom Est Rouge or Amouage Epic woman. Between them our choise is Mon Nom Est Rouge, it’s amazing.

In our opinion, for a rose lover, both of these fragrances are suitable, regardless of gender. These fragrances are for different moods. Julia and I wear both of these fragrances. We believe they are both unisex.

@@MrBPM75 You're welcome) Civet de Nuit is very unique, extremely well blended composition, it's very smooth, very dark and quite animalic to our nose. At the same time it wears quite soft on skin, which is amazing. We don't really enjoy some ashtray, cigarette smoke from it in the middle of the development. Opening is gorgeous. It is very complex fragrance, we need more time to understand it better. Actually we can't compare it to Amouage and Xerjoff fragrances, CdN feels completely different from those. Ingredients and blending feels superior in CdN. Many of Amouage and Xerjoff fragrances feels harsher than Civet de Nuit. If we did not feel something similar to cigarette smoke in this fragrance, then we would really like the smell. We just hate cigarettes)

We have found 2 weeks ago Safari Extreme in one of our city small niche fragrance shops. But they sell only decants. So we bought 5 ml of it and a couple of other fragrances. It was our first decant buy, because we don’t like them. We wore Safari Extreme 3 times and it’s a very interesting fragrance, not linear. Really like the smell, but wish it projected more. Very complex and beautiful fragrance. Amouage is great house.
Figment Man is definitely not in a top 10 for us. We don’t enjoy it. Opus VI, Myths Man, Overture Man, Portrayal Man are much better compositions than Figment Man, for example. Epic Woman and Lilac Love are amazing.

Yes, I agree, due to the highest concentration of oils in 53 perfume it smells deeper and richer. But performance of OG is more than excellent)

Original Interlude is way better. For that reason, Black Iris is definitely not in the top 10 best Amouage fragrances.
