Most people might be upset with these stringent emission norms. But I have a slightly different take on this. Having lived in Gurgaon for more than 7 years, I never remember having seen the city without dusty air. Basically if I'm stepping out, I'd have to inhale all the dust in the air. Even as a fresher with an average salary, I had to skip my plans of buying a bike and had to buy a car just to safeguard myself from the dusty air. Needless to say, I never saw any birds in the city's harsh air condition. (Save for the pigeons which are basically crap machines) Come to 2020 when Covid started and the whole country went into lockdown. The whole city became a barren land and people restricted themselves to indoors. During the 3 weeks of lockdown, I vividly remember that gradually I started hearing the chirping of birds. After 3 weeks, I took the courage of stepping out and took my car for a spin. For the first time in my life, I saw a very different Gurgaon with clean air and no dust in the air. I understood that needless of what people say, vehicular pollution in addition to the loose dust in the city played a crucial role in Gurgaon's poor air condition. Let's also not forget how the heat is increasing each year. We need to do all that we can to save our environment.

Correlation doesn't mean causation. Most of the pollution you see in India is to be attributed to construction and industry. The dusty air you are talking about is caused because of carrying sand in open containers, that deposits in lots of fine particles in the cities. Second is the industrial waste which comes not only from exhaust gases, but in the manufacturing process itself that releases lots of fine fabric and microplastics in the air that never settles on the ground. Cars and motorcycles cause the least amount of pollution. If vehicular emissions were this bad, other cities with more vehicle concentration in US would be multiple times more polluted than cities of Bharat, where people drive much older cars - with average age of cars in US being 12.5 years, while 4 years in Bharat. Let's compare ownership of car in NCR with Mumbai. Mumbai has more cars than NCR. In fact, Mumbai has far more old cars compared to Delhi, that has the idiotic NGT rule. And yet, AQI of Mumbai is half that of Delhi, despite having more diesel cars, more old cars and more cars in general. The government punishing car drivers for pollution from construction and industry is misguided and blames a group of people who are not even causing the so called pollution. Just like Hindu Deepawali crackers getting the flak for poor AQI, while studies after studies have shown that they are not why cities are polluted. Since Parit is talking about leaving a better future for our children, how about we persuade the government and the scam of organisation that is NGT to look at the actual causes.

Slowly all norms are pushing buyers towards EVs or shared transports or car loans. Itna mehenga hone se gaari ka sales pe v asar padhega... However, environment ko bachana v also our major responsibility.
the problem is 50% or more taxation on vehicles suppose a manufacturer is required add 20k worth of parts to be added in car to comply with norms but that in turn will make them hike the prices by 40k which is unreasonable just reduce the taxes on vehicles too while implementing better emission norms to counter act the price hikes
Government should make public transport so good and efficient that a citizen however poor or rich... Even Ambani/ Adani / Tata should...find it more convenient to travel by Public transport. Government should reduce duties and taxes on vehicles to encourage people to scrap old vehicle and get a new modem technology vehicle.

Apart from the requirement of bs7 norms, the govt must emphasis on build quality of cars and mandatory crash testing…
Companies like maruti easily get away…
Hyundai, kia etc manufacture sub standard cars in India… This must be regulated…
Real retro aur vintage vehicles ka trend aane wala hai guys, 🐎 ghoda gaadi aur cycles are going to be the future.
Pollution form 1 Truck >>>>> 30 cars
Focus on industrial pollution & pollution by commercial vehicles
Thanks for this informative video! Understanding Bharat Stage 7 is crucial for all of us, and you've explained it so clearly. It's fascinating to learn about the advancements in vehicle emissions standards and their impact on the environment and our daily lives. Keep up the great work! 👍 #BharatStage7 #EmissionsStandards #StayInformed
BS6 scooters, 5 liter fuel tank, fuel drops below 1.5 and they don't move. Fuel pump and fuel injectors have problems. We've sent robots to the moon but can't figure out how to use 30% of the fuel remaining? Jeez give me a carb any day.
India vehicles and tax follow euro standards, whereas income and infra is latin american standards
Industries ke emission norms bhi update kare
Take some so strict action against the industry pollution.. In air and water.. It will destroy the whole humanity..
In a coal powered country, BS7 is vital to put middleclass back to 2-wheelers
Respect for Gadkari ji❤🙏Gadkari ji has single handedly made Indian roads, toll tax and challan system major contributors to the Indian Economy🔥
Hit Like if you respect Gadkari ji🙏🚩🔱
Emission chodo.. socho kitna concrete road ban rahe hai..aur concrete me kitna energy lagta hai.. agar green banna hai to.. train me ghumo..
BS7 will really be a game changer for saving the environment,Emission should really go down because this emissions hurts human health at tremendous levels
Very informative! Thanks!
Nice Informative video..
BS7 ke pehle ke saare vehicles BAN kar den to sabko BS7 vehicles khareedna pad jayega aur mota Road Tax bhi milega
Fir Gadkari ji humari chhaati aur pet pe bhi sadak bana paayenge🥳

In my opinion currently our country should have develop bs 5 if they upgrade after 5 -7 years
One question: are we witnessing any changes in the real world vehicular pollution levels because of these new stringent laws?
Implementation of work from home can contribute huge pollution reduction in cities
Tyre dust from electric vehicles is more polluting.
Because these vehicles are significantly heavier than ICE.
I still ride my BS3 pulsar ug4 2009 model bought in first year, still starts in on self.. although i have gt650 bs6.. but still pulsar ug4 was way ahead of its time
Since eu7 is reference point for bs7
German and European brands might have an advantage as they will do common research for both standards
Finally in BS7 Japanese manufacturers are going to offer turbo charged engines
Now maruti will make carboard ka dabba
@@rajagopalchalla3736 yeah stfu you are not funny
After BS7 more people will buy ev cars....
Along With BS7 …… there should be a regulation about basic cleaning and maintaining hygiene in our country…. we desperately needs it .
They will be high maintenance engines plus very low load bearing capacity!
Itna sare sensors manufacture krna hoga to usse pollution nhi hoga ( aur kya pata isse vehicle over complicate hoke gaadi lo repair m dikat laa skte isse log usse repair krne k badle pura part ko hi replace krnge ) they only change they can make is improve public transport and make better roads , concentrate on ethanol increase , control industries and plastic wastage and help farmers to grow
STILL I OWN A BS3 SPLENDOR ITS A PRECIOUS GEM❤❤
BS4 WAS GEM BS6 IS MORE THAN A HEADACHE AND NOW BS7 IS HEART ATTACK IN KIDNEY 😅😅 FOR CAR LOVERS 😢😢
Gadkari going insane about bharat stage.
It's only boost second hand car market, electric vehicles have no future all around the world.
Bio or flexi fule could be the opption, but you cannot force it or next time people vote you out for same.
What about pollution from city buses, trucks, construction vehicles, railways aren’t they make any pollution?
Enforcing the rules on common people are far easier than looking ourselves in the mirror!!
Itna sab kar hi liya tha govt ne ta safety standards v thoda badha dete ta acha hota.. Atleast adas wagera aur build quality ke upar v focus kalete ta acha hota... Ye ta asi bat ho gai ki bache ne math ki padhai karli par chemistry and physics chor di.. Hamare sarkar ese hain
Bs4.. all indian love that ❤
DRL sabhi gadiyon me compulsory kar dena chaiye, highways par detection sahi hota hai
Hee Bhagwan Kya Julm Hai.
what about the old diesel polluting government vehicles? Government should take action on that as well.
Govt ko sab 2 and 4 wheeler ban karke cycle chalu karva deni chahiye No pollution
Bharat Stage 2, was from the year 2000, not 2005 as mentioned in the video. 2005 was when Bharat Stage 3 was introduced.
Bs10 oxygen from exhaust
War से pollution होने पर भी norms आने चाहिए l
Hope cars become more expnesive in near future its good for all
Entry level cars must be levied with 100 tax and so on
Nitin Gadkari ji ko puchya jaye ke Bhathi (Jaha par bricks banti ha) ke lye konse emission set kiye ha apne. Already we lost a ddis engine and now I think so we lost the whole petrol engine 😢😢
Pollution ki noc Leni pdti h and all non high draft brick kiln are shutdown
Is there any norms for manufacturing industries??
Europe jaise roads bhi banado please.
Gadkariji shall also give us roads like Europe in every city and village
All is good... Middle class suffering is also good to govt...but what about the old busses and lorries and cabs?
Manufacturer should use very high VI (300+ VI) engine oil and design the oil pump accordingly.
This will significantly reduce the emissions.
Akshat pls make a specific video on challenges for diesel vehicles in BS7 norms
Sure thing. Coming right up!
Mobile me update ane se mobile slow hota h qki companies ko apne new product v bechna hota h . Mere pas 2 bike h bs4 or 1 bs6 ki bs4 is just like wow or bs6 200 ka kharcha soch ke 2000 bn jata hai. Bs7 k liye mukhe lgta h road side k auto mechanic garage bnd krna pdega qki 2030 -35 tk sb auto compony ev me convert ho jayega.
Why we are aligning with developed Euro standard.
What about other countries that still use vehicles purchased from scrap.these countries also exist on planet Earth.
I think I will have to sell my vehicles once their road worthyness expires.
That's what our politicians want
Norms Europe ke, sadke nepal ki
Before moving to BS7 I guess government should normalise the use of 48v battery system. This will reduce the copper wires significantly
What about the industries causing pollution
European emissions norms without European infrastructure
What about trucks, roadways buses, three wheelers, factories throwing waste in rivers and air ?
First of all, I understand all the aspects. I am myself an engineer.
But, Cars live shorter on the planet so humans can live longer.

"Always ON" headlight in 2 wheeler causes unnecessary/over lights on the road. As mostly people in India use High-Beam light as their default setting, situation gets worse..
Rather than just copy - paste method, officials should also use their brain for implementation as per Indian need..
We have bs6 with catalytic converter with obd which helps in reducing and regulate pollution which increases the price as well of car.. wherein still pollution check certificate is required y so.. kindly make a video on it..
Government Public transport city buses should follow this first, as they are on road Max time.
Extraction of lithium and mining brine for recycling that stuff causes lots more pollution than mining crude oil which benefits us for more alternatives rather than fuels.
