Miyako is not only a virtuoso on guitar and piano, but also plays both instruments at the same time.
Yes, incredible. 😂 In "Burden of time", in the midst of the song. A few keys with her left hand on her Dean guitar fretboard, and her right hand on the keyboard. 😂
And it fits, of course. 😁
Miyako doesn’t play only 2 instruments, she also plays bass guitar, violin, cello, drums and in her youth she also played brass instruments!

The Chopin piece Miyako (guitar/keyboards) is playing in the intro is "Etude OP10, No. 12" known as the "Revolutionary Etude."
In 1831, some officers and citizens rose up against the Polish government, which was under the de facto control of the Russian Empire, in what was called the "November Revolution" but ended in failure due to the direct intervention of Russian troops. Chopin received this news during a performance tour. He never set foot on the soil of his homeland again. When the Russians invaded Warsaw, Chopin's agent presented "Etude OP10, No. 12" in Paris. Because of the agent's exaggerated publicity, people called this piece "Revolutionary Etude.
Miyako composed "Swan Song" based on this "Revolutionary Etude" and Dvorak's "New World Symphony.
Asami (vocalist), a former ballerina, wrote the lyrics based on the historical background of "Revolutionary Etude" and inspired by Norse mythology and the ballet suite "Swan Lake.
"SwanSong" is a requiem dedicated to the warriors who fought to reclaim their homeland, a masterpiece that only LOVEBITES could complete.

Am 23.12.2023 gibt Asami eine Weihnachtsparty in Tokyo vor Livepublikum. Man kann auch per Online Livestream dabei zusehen. Bei diesen Party's sind auch andere sehr, sehr gute japanische Musiker dabei. Bei Asami am 23.12.2023 wird Miyako den Bass spielen. Soweit ich mich erinnere hat Miyako sich vor 2 Jahren mal einen Warwick Bass aus Deutschland schicken lassen.😃

Miyako’s talent has no limits‼️．
Miyako is a musical genius of our time: she plays keyboards, piano, guitar, bass and does quite well on the drums. Without forgetting to write songs! That said, I love these 5 young women who form, in my opinion, the best group in the history of metal. And the best twin guitars. React to Miyako's solo piano version of "Eagle fly free" from Helloween and you won't be disappointed!

Most reactors get to this one within the first 3 or 4 songs of their LOVEBITES journey so I was a bit surprised that you haven't already done Swan song with Chopin intro. It's one of those performances where your mouth drops open and you can only go "WOW". 👏👏👏👏👏 I try to imagine what it's like for someone who hasn't experienced LOVEBITES at all, and then they see this. 🤯

The song you realize Miyako is just different, in a wonderful way. She is on a level of her own, and does what she just with grace, elegance, and beauty. This is a MASTERPIECE. Was soll man zu Miyako noch sagen. Was die für Lieder komponiert ist echt einmalig. Und wer außer ihr könnte das an beiden Instrumenten so perfekt spielen?!?! Und ich rede gar nicht mal vom Chopin Intro, sondern meine das Ende vom Swan Song.
Aber Haruna an den Drums spielt das ebenfalls so genial, dass macht diese Performance wirklich perfekt. Und wenn Asami nach dem Solo ihren Einsatz vermasseln würde? Tut sie aber natürlich nicht, sie trifft den Ton von 0 auf 100 mit voller Kraft und perfekt. Das beeindruckt mich jedes Mal aufs Neue!

This song is a *masterpiece* in many ways. Just _some examples_ :
1.: As Chopin was a *giant* on the piano, his compositions usually are a hard self-check for any aspiring pianist in terms of how good they really are. In most cases, Chopin compositions are a graveyard of motivation, confidence and dreams. But Miyako plays this part as if it was just a warming-up unit. 😳😂I have a loss for words. 🤷♂
2.: The whole song is arranged _from the end_ to (almost) the beginning. What an awesome "craziness"! 😁To be able to finish it "logically" with another Classical part (from Dvorak's "New World Symphony"), so that the Metal section is framed Classically, Miyako took the Symphony's main theme from the end, and used it as the main theme for the whole Metal song. 😯Just compare the key/chords sequence of the Classical end with the Miho's bass key sequence of the Metal song's beginning, and you have your personal 😳-moment. *Awesome* ! (Loss for words again, actually.)
3.: During the chorus, Miyako's final piano part is already audible in the background. Sensitive, but audible. Obviously blended-in by stage technicians. As it has to fit to to sound of the band, there is *zero* room for mistakes of the band. And as Lovebites make no mistakes, it works together just _perfect_ . Awesome. (Loss for words, a third time.)
4.: The audibility of the blended-in background piano sound is arranged _dynamically_ . It is getting a bit louder each time, until Miyako finally plays it live. I find that idea *brilliant* . 😃
Considering aspects like these, I don't care at all, whether the chanting (together with the audience, towards the end) is a playback from stage, or whether it's actually the audience. I just relish it. 😊

I took piano for a few years. Hated the practice. But I am always drawn to bands like this that actually play their instruments. Can't imagine the practice she does. Just to get the fingers to hit the keys on a slow song much less a a metal song.
