I had to watch this video as the town holds many personal memories, it is good to see the town centre retaining its charm with many independent shops, but my favourite is Jephson Gardens. Thanks for sharing.
Andy it was a pleasure to visit. We have been a few times but you see it with a different eye when you look through the lense. Pleased you enjoyed it. 🙏👍
Nooo, did I really see a left over milkshake @1:05 on that yellow 'thing' on the lampost? Nooo! 😂 😂 Love the elephants. Oh a market, or was it a fair, lovely. It's been a while- everything looks so 'normal' again. Relaxed and enjoy the day! Loved the drone shot of the area. Lovely share Derek and Carol. Enjoyed the relaxed and gentle walk. Thanks 👍 💖 🇳🇱 🙋♀ 🇳🇿
The food at fiver rivers is exceptional! Very tasty and well prepared and you can chose among many menu options. I love the service at the place and the chef is so friendly with the guests and always takes care to offer the best quality! I highly recommend this place.
My home town and very pretty it is too, if I say so myself! You’ll normally catch the ‘que sera bloke’ performing on the parade rather than in Jephson gardens. Nice aerial shots too, I’m not used to seeing those.
I've lived in Leamington and Warwick my entire life. I liked that the brutalism still seeps through at times. When you got to the pizza express corner and took a trip to the park instead of going across the bridge to the places past the train tracks I just understood it to be focusing on the nice parts instead of the urban sprawl.
There are many channels that focus on the urban, but we tend to show the nicest areas. When you are in an area for a short time it tends to restrict movement. We still can’t avoid the graffiti, rubbish bins and the numerous to let and for sale signs. Thanks for making a comment it all helps 🙏👍😉
@@overlordnat we only focus on the positive, there is enough negativity in our dysfunctional world. But even in the grim can be beautiful sometimes. As you may well see in Derek’s Street Photography.
Hi Carol and Derek 🙋♂️ !! Thanks for this delightful walk in Royal Leamington Spa, so much great action with the market in progress 😊👍. Greetings from Scotland 🏴, see you about 👀 ✅. Best wishes, Don 👋
We haven’t been there, have seen it on Instagram. We are imports to the Midlands so not so familiar with all the landmarks. Trouble is not enough hours on a day or days in the week 😂
You are very lucky. If you have any stories to tell pleas add them in the comments. People would love to hear local information 🙏👍 thanks for commenting 😉

Like Leamington. It didn't used to be full of coffee shops, barbers and empty units. The music captivates it's modern adaptation to smaller town syndrome perfectly.
I have lived here for 15 years. Such a lovely town.
It is a lovely town, with a charm of its own. You are lucky to be able to call it home 🙏👍

We don’t use our drone a lot, people tend to see them as intrusive. 🙏👍

Should’ve filmed the back of Eden Court with the rubbish and dumped old sofas! 😂

Thanks Don, just got back from Paris. That was a bit of a cultural shock. 🙏👍
Beautiful place
It is indeed 😉🙏👍
my hometown :)
Hope we did it justice. We weren’t there for long 🙏👍
looks like some great community spirit to be seen.
You may be right we felt people were content, and we didn't see much vandalism, and some nice independent shops. 👍🙏
hi... new friend here watching from Hongkong...
Never ventured to that part of the word, and at our age probably never get there. Keep safe. Will pop over to your channel now 🙏👍
very beautiful.❤👍
Thank you very much :)
Such a pretty town, have you been to Chesterton Windmill, only 15 min away

Music is a bit depressing 😕
Sorry for that we thought it thoughtful 🤔 music is always tricky 🙏 thanks for the feedback it is always appreciated 🙏👍

It’s the same as most towns today. Thanks for taking the time to comment we really appreciate it 🙏👍
Nice video. But not a fan of the music. Funeral vibes
@@Andy-hr2kf sorry though it was relaxing 😉 must make a note not to use that again 🤔👍
